I just moved down the street last year from this store and evrrytimebi cone in they are stocked with everything I need.. They have a friendly staff. I left my wallet in my cart accindenly and came back an hr later and I was so surprised to find out the great employee bane Thomas returned it to his Mansger which is a rare occasion these days. Great, honest store 👍

This is one of the smaller smart and finals in the area. It is not as nice and spacious and well maintained as the other ones, but it is still stalked pretty well, and the staff is generally nice. It's a little bit older, and looks less clean, and there is usually a wait. Other than that, good shopping experience.

The service is great but their chicken from foster farms seem to have Hemorrhages due to overstunning or physical torture. Hemorrhages or brusing does not occur after death. This is a constant pattern I have seen in this store. I buy chicken from other places where the chicken or meat has minimal hemorrhages meaning less trauma to the animal when being killed. Everytime I have buy chicken here I find extreme hemorrhages on them. I advise that management communicate with their producer.

HAPPY 150 YEARS SMART & FINAL! This place has never disappointed its customers. The market has many great experiences that will keep giving every single person some stories to tell. For example, the song "Singing in the Rain" that plays every time the produce gets showers to keep it fresh. The people that works there are always friendly and ready to help whenever I needed to find something. Even during these hard times of the pandemic, they have managed to keep the place safe. It is nice to enter the place and have the feeling that we are taken care of. Products are organized, clean, and easy to find. Today my family and I visited the store on 7224 Mason Ave. like every other week. We were helped by Citlaly, who showed good disposition and was very helpful. The store should be very proud of employees like her. Cheers for the 150 years!

I have been shopping at this store for years and have never had a problem with quality until recently. I bought the largest ground beef chub they sell every month a few months ago I opened one and the meat was spoiled and had a loud chemical smell, ok maybe I didn't store it properly or waited too long before I got home with it. I bought another last month and cut into it immediately and it was spoiled. I took it back and traded for two smaller ones which were ok. Maybe the larger ones sell slower and more prone to spoilage I don't know. Maybe it's a sign of the times we are in today but my advice is you should check any meat immediately soon as you get home. I do. Other than that I have no issues with Smart&FinalI appreciate you can buy in bulk at a reasonable price and it is overall a good store but from my learned experience not just this store but any store check the meat you buy before sticking it in your freezer.

Well stocked isles with plenty of room for carts to easily get through. Great prices and one of the last stores that I know of to have mirrors in their public restrooms... Which are also kept well stocked and clean. The employees are friendly and helpful as well. Good job guys! I will definitely be coming here often for both my small business and family grocery needs. An all around great shopping experience!

Easy in easy out. Lots of parking clean store. They sell restaurant supplies like Chefs hats, aprons, long handled tools for cooking, spatulas, spoons for serving , cups, Sterno for chaffing dishes. The meat department is large and well stocked. Nice cashiers too.

This store is never well stocked. Now during the last few months its worse.They do a pretty good job in the produce department, its clean and full.The meat department is not cared for as well as produce, but if you want beef in bulk packaging, you can find fair pricing, but not a large selection.In order to shop without over spending in this store you need to realize most of their pet food, health and beauty products are over priced.Overall, they are under staffed and it's difficult to find someone to help you.Lastly, the have a poor checkout system and the lines are slow and long so no hurrying in and out.

Great place to shop, you can find everything you need and want, you can find snacks, fruits, meat, toiletries and more. Fresh qualities, good services, clean, organized and good prices. I you don't have to pay for membership.Much better than Costco, I highly recommend it ❤🧡❤

Smart & Final had 2 items on sale which brought me into the store; fresh Blueberries 18oz pkg $2.87 and Ben & Jerry's ice cream $2.99 if you buy 3 containers. $70 later I found myself in the checkout line. There were so many items I needed/ wanted and the prices were quite reasonable that I simply couldn't resist. For ex: Butterball Honey Roasted Turkey Breast 2, 1lb packages $6.99; Hebrew National Hot Dogs 4, 12oz packages wrapped together as one $10.49, Bush's Baked Beans 28oz can $1.99 The more I roamed, the more I found.The old adage, "Never go grocery shopping when you're hungry" applies here because I was and I did. But that doesn't take away from the fact that there were many good deals to be had at Smart & Final.The store is so large and walking for me is so painful due to an Arthritic knee and hip, that I was quickly becoming fatigued. I had the good fortune, however, of locating a very nice, young lady who was EXTREMELY HELPFUL in locating items I couldn't find. When it came to checkout, she was my cashier as well.I WISH I had her name so I could post it and give her the recognition she deserves for being such a wonderful representative for Smart&Final.

What's with the high ratings on google with Winnetka S&F.....Y'all check Yelp?!Morning, afternoon, evening or night, the cashiers here are rude and unhelpful. The impolite, pretentious and snobby cashiers at this particular S&F are very unprofessional and just terrible..Special shoutout to the short-tempered, short-girl cashier with a serious attitude problem, she works early morn and evenings 👋🏽👋🏽

Its a very good store. Prices are just a little high but if you want a smaller less crowded store this it. They get that 5th star if the prices were just a bit lower. Or put a few things on sale more often. The staff and management are a+.

I bought ribs from this location. My first trip there and the ribs a purchased where spoiled and smelled horrible, so i went back to grab another pack and once again same problem. Spoiled ribs. All i can say is if you go make sure you check the quality of their meats. Horrible service and product. I will not recommend this smart and final at all.

Not a great place to shop. Prices are confusing, misleading. One time I bought collard greens that I 've known since my childhood. When I had it checked out the cashier told me it's something else and charged me a different price. I left it and went to Sprouts market to buy it. Sprouts has better customer service and the price is as marked not naming an item the wrong way and tried to charge different priceI would say I'll shop there only if I really really really need to.

Big store, clean and well organized. They have almost everything, even International food section. I used to buy Chicken Kiev (in the box of 6) and they were really good, but unfortunately they changed the vendor, so I tried once and that wasn't good. Time to time they have good sales.

Tonight's negative experience triggered this survey. We asked for cash back on our purchase and asked for the cashier to break the $10 into 1 $5 bill, 3 $1 bills, and 8 quarters. She explained to us that due to the store closing in an hour and a half she cannot give us quarters. We then asked if we could at least have 4 quarters because we needed to fill our water jugs outside at your glacier water dispenser. She said she could not give us 4 quarters even though she had a change drawer full of quarters. We then asked if she could break one dollar into nickels and dimes and again she said no. We asked her if the machine takes bills and she said she doesn't know, and she can't help us with the change. She told us to go to the liquor store across the street for them to give us change. If a grocery store cannot break change why would a liquor store? We left pretty upset and drove over to the machine to find out it does take cash. The way your cashier, treated us and refused to help us, is completely unacceptable. We understand store procedures , but her lack of customer service and Concern for providing excellent customer service was not there.

The guy who organized the fruits yesterday threw too heave like a crazy guy. I bought some bananas and it became black when I got home. Also, the sale products you show on the paper and app, when I came to buy, mostly I could not buy because it had not on your shelf

Quick service, i notice they are focused on workplace safety. They had an stretching time for the staff around 6am. When it is busy, they open extra registers to get the customers out. Fresh food and reasonable prices

Bought a bag of Kraft shredded Cheese from them, went home and opened it and it was sour, spoiled, half melted and it looks like they tried to put it back on the shelf to get cold again. Sooo...that’s all I needed to happen to NEVER, EVER, SHOP there again. They’re a trash market with low standards.

I love their Produce! Now that they have updated, I can find most things in this market.I’m not wild about the meat however. Everything else is great.
