Safeway is a wonderful grocery store with fresh produce, excellent meat selection, and about anything else you may need for your family meal. I stopped in this afternoon for a few items, and I was pleasantly surprised at the displays for Valentines Day. Would love it if this location would offer a better sushi selection. I travel all over the county for work and often stop by Safeway to get lunch. Why does the Windsor Safeway only offer a bunch of imitation crab rolls, poorly rolled with a ton of rice. All of the other locations around the county have tuna, salmon, and always offer a fresh variety of sushi. Please consider putting some energy towards the sushi counter.

This is only for friday the 12th 2023. Waited in line 32 minutes. Ridiculous. Only 3 registers open. Manager just kept walking buy looking at. How about run a till yourself.

This is strictly for the Pharmacy. I will not go into detail but The pharmacist is rude and hates people. She has a scowl on her face all the time. I know this from previous pickups but it never affected me UNTIL. She lied about filling my prescription and then when I went to pick it up she lied again and told me I was not there the day before and would not fill my script. Needless to say I let her have it and will never fill there again. I had to call the store mgr and while he tried to help, it was a failure. At this point I just may not food shop there anymore. I don't deal well with liars................. and ther is no call to lie to customers.

This is the most interesting safeway I've ever been to. The deli employees will just ignore you for several minutes before coming to the counter to assist you every time. This time, they were throwing food around & yelling "what the hell" They never seem to have fried chicken and won't make it for you. I've never been to a safeway quiet like this one.

It's really hard to beat their club card prices. However, it can be crowded. The best part about this Safeway is that it stays open until 1 am and opens at 5 am. McDonalds is the only place that is open 24/7 in this town. Happy Donuts opens at 4 am, but I auctually prefer the donuts at Safeway.

Always clean and pretty well stocked up. This is my local safeway, and I usually shop here every other week, and I've never come across any issues. There are always carts ready to use. Lots of parking and parking lot is kept clean.

While I often shop at this store because it carries products not offered in Healdsburg store, today the checkout was as busy as can be, yet the checker on Checkout 2 was actually open, but customers didn’t realize since even after being asked to turn on the light by a colleague, he blatantly refused to do so. I was on the next aisle and loudly voiced my displeasure & dissatisfaction that he evidently didn’t care one bit that he was angering & wrongly delaying customers. After checking out. I looked for a manager at the service desk, but no one was there. Wish I knew his name. I’ll see if I can reach someone in charge by phone. Very unhappy experience.

Good luck in purchasing "fresh" produce. I frequently return spoiled items that were packaged to appear "fresh." We have better luck at Oliver's but pay higher prices for quality. It's worth it and saves gas in having to return products to Safeway.

I typically enjoy Safeway but gave them just 3 stars because they are in desperate need of more help. I also found their produce to be over priced given the quality and taste. Lately when I go in they are always out of what I'm looking for and so I have made the choice to shop elsewhere not to mention their app doesn't work as it should and when you can't add it to your cart you are stuck paying full price.

Don't go at night time , I was a loyal Safeway shopper but had enough of rude emoyees and managers treat me rude because I was in the way of them as they put products always right in the way of things I needed buy. They put pallets anywhere they pleased they would not move if I needed grab anything, never enough cashiers they didn't care how long the lines are no one would stop working from the floor to help open a station. I've seen front end managers more interested flirting with the young cashiers then doing any work what so ever . I uasally would never let a store dictate if I go there are not but I will never do business there again

Always a good visit. As a kid this was my local safeway. As an adult visiting after over a decade- its changed a lot and at least when i visited it was well stocked. Im not gonna knock the rating for the prices. Its expensive now for what it is but u know, inflation. Overall great clean updated store!

I would normally rate this Safeway quite highly but due to one staff member, an older lady with grey hair, I’d say early 70’s, I think she was the front end manager, Changed my rating. My father, girlfriend, and I decided to go grocery shopping for the house after about 2 weeks, note we usually go to foodmax for their cheaper prices but we decided to go to Safeway because it is a lot closer. The reason we wanted to go to a closer place is the fact that my 60 year old dad broke his leg after falling off a ladder two weeks earlier and it hurts him when he is not lying down, yet today was the day he decided he wanted to leave the house for the first time and try and rehabilitate himself. So we get to the store and find all the things we need and end up getting to the lines, they are all quite long besides the express lane, which is for 15 items or less. So my dad decided to ask the checker if we could go through her line even though we had about 20 items, she proceeded to say yes and we got in line. All was well, life was good, but it only took about 5 seconds for the grey old lady to start shouting at us that we weren’t aloud in this lane, so we said okay, and went into one of the longer waiting lines, because that is the rule after all. Once we had switched lines the old lady decided to change her mind and let us back in the express line. At this point we are a little annoyed but still, all is well. We are getting our groceries and still doing decent time so my dad doesn’t have to suffer in pain in the wheelchair to long. But just as we are about to leave and they are about all to finish bagging the old grey manager lady comes back and starts accusing my girlfriend of coming to Safeway many times and using the express line to skip the other lines. Note this is the first time we’ve even been to Safeway in months, and we don’t really even shop there, we much prefer foodmax because we are not the best off financially and saving that little bit of money really helps us out. Anyways once she starts accusing my girlfriend she says no and denied it obviously and we leave, and as we leave she said I’m almost an indescribably passive aggressive way, have a great day. Overall this whole experience just left a really bad taste in my mouth and I will not be shopping here for a long time.~Seth

Compared to some of the other local Safeway locations, this one appears to be cleaner.The staff are friendly enough and I can usually find the things I'm looking for without too much difficulty. However, lately this Safeway location (as well as the others in the area) seem to be out of stock of many of the items that I regularly buy-- forcing me to visit other local grocery stores.

I drive quite the distance to shop here. I know it’s just a Safeway, but there is something to be said about a clean, organized, well staffed (not having to wait 30 minutes to check out), well stocked, and friendly grocery store. I would give them five stars but every time I go to the deli counter for sliced meat and cheese there is never anyone with the desire to help you, not that anyone isn’t there, just no one wants to help or they don’t know where the person that should help you is. (Tried three separate times) now that one bit of constructive criticism is out of the way, other than that this is a great place to get the necessities. The checkout is quick and friendly and they still know how to bag groceries. 😁

Checker was very nice.Nearly all of the sale items, all in meat dept were empty. Stock boys had isles impassable. Meat counter not set up, fresh donut rack empty.Every weekend morning the same back again every weekend, checker awesome, couple of stockers awesome. Meat counter never staffed early and produce is really bad

They have horrible customer service , the sandwich place never ever is making sandwiches nor do they ever have the pre made ones in stock. And to top it all off the Starbucks doesn’t know how to make coffee ! I asked for a caramel macchiato and they pounded it with milk. Another time I asked for a banana bread and they couldn’t warm it up so I took it cold 😫 I’ve given this location a lot of chances and they just don’t seem to step their game up. Very disappointed as it’s always a waste of time when I try to make a quick stop so my kids can get lunch when we’re running late !

Always shop at Safeway but am forced to go to.multiple Sonoma County stores to get specific brands of popluar products available in some stores, but not all.Plus, am very unhappy with cleanliness of some stores.Employees everywhere are working hard and majority are very helpful and patient with my interruptions and requests for assistance.

Nice selection of products. Well maintained store. Much of the staff is not very friendly and the workers doing stocking are always in your way. Too crowded, much of the time with self checkout terminals often broken. The bakery department is friendly however. Their cakes are very good too!

Depending on the location, they are always stocked up on most of their products, and the clerks not bad either. The Windsor location is the same as it's been after a few years, so you can know your way around the aisles by heart.

Safeway my apologies for the bad review I made a mistake thought it was Sebastopol Safeway. I did stop by your deli and even though she was training she was teaching the correct way to use the slicer. Having worked in many delis I liked how through she was while making sure my order was filled. Again I took down the wrong one and apologies for the wrong one!! Thank you for caring my Safeway has never responded!!

You’ll find whatever you need. But what I love best is there points system, if you use your points for gas you can save a tremendous amount. Thank you Safeway for caring about today’s gas prices.

Always a fun afternoon with the hostesses and excellent wines. We sat in the patio, nice breeze, bought wines (a great value when compared with other wineries) and joined the club, really like supporting this winery.
