Garrett at Windsor: great selection and you find hardware other store does not carry, that is true!But what makes this store great is the people working there: friendly and helpful.And then, there is the power tools department...They are fantastic! Very professional, it means very knowledgeable and sincere. I came here to get duplicate keys made. The staff are super helpful and nice. Good selection of things needed for fixing things in your home. Didn’t even know this ACE existed in Windsor area until recently. Apparently it’s been around decades. Have been back a couple times.

Garrett Ace Hardware is well stocked and organized. They're always very helpful. When I need help identifying or finding something, Associate Adam is usually in the aisles somewhere. He is a wealth of knowledge about the items for sale and their uses. He's friendly and has a great sense of humor too!

The staff were genuinely helpful and unhurried, even though It was 10 minutes until close on a Friday evening!! Debra , Alejandra, the African American guy (sorry I did not get your name) and another staff member (another super friendly stoutly guy) I was most impressed with the ease, helpfulness and professionalism this team displayed, and with such ease!! I have never encountered such professionalism especially with a few minutes before close, they were 100% committed effortlessly! I am appreciate you guys!! You are the reason I will drive back .to take my business into that specific location !!

I love the rewards you get, I went and got $5.00 off my purchase. The people working there are really nice. I recommend this store more than the one in Guerneville Rd. in Santa Rosa, the employees there are horrible from the manager to the cashiers.

Garrett's is a great hardware store. I've very rarely needed something they don't have. Their customer service is prompt and always helpful (and with a smile). I can get individual nuts and bolts, etc., without having to by an entire blister, pack full. Great selection of hardware, electrical, plumbing, paint, household, garden, plus a unique gift store.

Garrett Hardware us locally owned and staffed by knowledgeable people unlike Home Depot. You may pay a little more for some items, but the quality of the goods is worth it. It truly is a pleasure to shop at Garrett's!

Love this place, convenient, close to my home and usually has whatever part I need and a lot of plants that I don't. The staff is always helpful and the fact they have a battery area that has virtually all the different kinds of button batteries has saved my bacon more than once.

Kudos to the worker with great customer service. I Went to get duplicate keys at Garrett Ace. Hardware in Windsor, made after trying home depot twice with no success. The worker heard me say I was having a hard time finding a place to get the new replacement keys to work and matched the blank, but also really looked at the original and found and the perfect replacement keys cut them and all worked perfectly! Thank you!

Extremely helpful. Just needed a key fob battery. One associate was busy, so he immediately called another. This associate immediately found battery and installed it. What more can you ask for. In and out in minutes. The Home Depot and Lowe's could learn a lot from this ACE Hardware!

Excellent customer services? Wide selection of tools and fixtures. I can pretty much always find what I need within five minutes of walking in the door, which can't be said for bigger certain bigger stores.

It took them a little while to warm up to me. I guess I don't fit the bill when it comes to shopping in a hardware/home improvement type place because I'm either wearing my work clothes where my pants are rolled up to my knees and I typically have my knee length cat socks on underneath or I'm in a dress w/ makeup. Who knows why originally I'd go in there to buy work supplies like various cleaning chemicals and devices and have 3 diff employees in a 2 min span ask me if they could help me find anything which, in the way they said it was code for: why r u here, how can we help u leave faster, and we are watching u.But a few trips spending around $60 on cleaning stuff then a legit exchange/return situation and the continued approach of kill 'em w/ kindness has whittled down their defenses. And now I feel like the neighborhood shopper I am.I'm used to the weirdness from some businesses because I'm kinda weird myself or at least i'm usually running late (so kind of a mess), i ask directional questions rather than roam, I'm hearing impaired so I speak loudly and don't really notice, and in addition i have a kind of "presence" I've been told. So it's not the 1st or last store it'll happen in.But I appreciate that they obviously do care about their customer's shopping experience and even though most cleaning stuff I can get slightly to significantly cheaper elsewhere I like that they have clearance stuff and hard to find cleaning products. Also, when I ask someone about something I'm purchasing if I have further questions or need to return it they remember me and are happy to help.

A classic Ace hardware store - it has everything you probably are looking for. They also specialize in a few things like power tools. If you need home goods or lawn and garden, they are also well-stocked. They always have staff handy to help. Never a very long line to check out because they will quickly open another register if there are even a few folks in line. It's our neighborhood "go to" place.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel I need to give credit when a business is 100% Honest with their customers. I went in to purchase a specific item, come to find out I was accidently sold the wrong item. The item that was sold to me was supposed to be a lot less than what I had paid for. I ultimately wanted the item that I thought I was purchasing. Although they were similar looking items, there were some differences that I later noticed a few days later. Before I could call ACE they called me to resolve the issue and had the item replaced the next day. Since it was a large item, they delivered the new one and picked up the old one with no hassle. The customer service was outstanding, and they owned up to a mistake and corrected it next day. Something I know would never happen at the larger hardwear stor chains. It pays to go local.

When you’re driving through town on your weekend trip to Napa and the rear window pops open on your rental vehicle... this is definitely the right spot to pick up Gorilla Glue.. ample parking, large store and appeared to have a little of everything!

Ace Hardware stores are traditionally either hit or miss some have kind of fallen to the wayside and are poorly run. Where you can't really find what you need. This one howeveris the other type of Ace Hardware that has been maintained through the years and is keeping up with the times yet still feels like it is an old Town Hardware store that you would see in the 50s television show. this Ace happens to be the best Ace Hardware I have ever been to they have a greenhouse they also have power tools a steel shop and landscaping supplies with anything you could need to landscape your entire yard.

Here's a Hardware store for just about anyone. I needed paint supplies, the manager at the Windsor location took me around, made some excellent suggestions, and got me out with a solid price-point. The epitome of family-business backed by a solid brand like ACE. They have some really unique services likw a full-time plummer on staff, and a guy to sharpen chainsaw blades and small engine repair. Great shop!

Very dusty retail, employees just stand around. Bought two Rubbermaid sink mats couldn't tell they weren't really the same color until I got them home and washed them. Maybe dust your products instead of doing nothing.
