Mar-Val is a great non Walmart spot to go. I think the quality of their produce and meats are better, plus they aren't a big chain. I am into shopping local. The store is clean and well stocked as it should be. The employees care a ton about what they do and are always there to help. They have everything you're looking for and the prices are great. Best thing is their bacon don't go anywhere else for it.

Marval has the best quality meat and produce. Their customer service is excellent. When I was sick last year one of their employees, Melissa, offered to shop for me and deliver. That right there is amazing service in this day and age. They also are so great at helping the community! We love shopping there!

Prices are as high as Raley's. I stopped going to the deli due to missing condiments and sandwiches constantly being made incorrectly. The staff is friendly so that is one plus

I used to really enjoy shopping here the produce has always been good and the butcher had always been helpful. The service and quality has gone down so much in the last year I had to leave a comment. I can't go into this store without leaving smelling like a grease trap is gross. Everything is sticky, and I recently saw that they are advertising for foster parents which is also cringe.

No issues as far as in store experiences but their customer service needs help. Get an automated service if you can't answer the phone. It is very rude and disrespectful to call and be hung up on. Not once but two or 3 times to be exact. Easy fix people. Get a directory because not everyone lives in town close enough to drive or even walk to the store.

Their prices are high compared to a place like Walmart, but the location on the east side of Willows makes it convenient. The deli sandwiches aren't bad. The chicken and taco salad look good, too.

Local market for many years ! The best deals on deli sandwiches/ lunches made fresh! The store is well organized and usually never too busy! The staff that have been there for years are very helpful, at times their prices can be a bit much! Good store overall for any reason!

The store has been around since 1950s under a different name, Sani-Food, and a new company took over a few years ago. The employees are courteous, professional and helpful. Meat dept is awesome and deli has great sandwiches, salads and chicken.

My company ordered sandwiches a variety of sandwiches from this location. Turkey roast beef ham. How disappointing the turkey sandwich was a few slices of turkey breast a slap of cheese and two piece of bread.What we paid for the sandwiches was not worth the value.You are better off ordering from Subway or other sandwich place then this store.I almost forgot to mention that the girls at the Deli shop and the hot food wait forever to help you like they don't want to earn the customer I walked away many times because they have an attitude

Love this store! Staff is friendly and helpful. It's so nice to have a small local grocery store as an alternative to the impersonal big box stores. They have really good sandwiches and deli as well.Thanks for being here guys!

Save yourself the $ and do not go for a sandwhich. As the only person there for something from the deli I would assume my order would be made correct. It should anyways but not today. First off, $8 for a sandwhich with 2 types of meat, only to get 1 type of meat and not even the correct type. This has been an ongoing issue for awhile now with this place. Maybe that's why I was the only one there for a sandwhich.

Love this grocery store! I took one star off because they are a little pricey, and near the end of the day many items that I was after were out of stock. Buuuut, the store was clean, well lit, and the staff was friendly and well trained. There's parking right up front, their deli is ah-ma-zing, and you don't have to unpack your groceries from the cart - They Do It For You! It's little touches like those that will bring me back time, and time again. ❤

You can pretty much find what you are looking for but this place is overpriced. The butcher department has good selection of meats...bakery and deli sections are well stocked and captures your attention... everyone is friendly but as stated overpriced... plenty of parking, wheelchair accessible

I used to loved this store till today, I went there today but it was closed and a bat attacked me it went onto my feet try to bite on west entrance be careful people this thing was no joke, I suggest to owner to fumigate please!

The main reason to go here: The deli.Hands down the best sandwiches in Willows, there are a lot of options and each sandwich is made to order. The employees are helpful and nice. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the location.

I hate giving bad reviews to small town stores, especially in my home town. But after rotten potatoes, moldy bread, and now this morning a brand new carton of milk that was rancid and chunky, I have to say I don't think I'm going to shop here anymore besides their sandwiches. It's only a matter of time before someone gets sick.

Low maintenance on the hot food area i almost ate an awfully stinky fried chicken piece. Almost shared with my baby that place sucks at hot foods. Could really send someone to the ER with food poisoning!

I visited your deli department on Thursday in April. Your chicken salad ought be called "chicken porridge". It is not the kind of chicken-chunks salad available as "Signature chicken salad" at Safeway or "Rotisserie chicken salad" at Jewel-Osco in the Midwest. I force-fed myself that meat mass just because I do not think that throwing away food is good.Your coleslaw is bitter. Its bitterness just stands out. What food can be bitter by design and default?I got down to your rotisserie chicken on Friday. I was hoping I would eat good chicken; I paid almost twice as much as I would pay for a rotisserie chicken at Walmart ($7.99 vs. $4.98). At least, I hoped your chicken would be just as good as Walmart's. Sorry, no - yours is salted beyond recognition. I will try adding barbecue sauce to cure that salty flavor to finish that chicken.The few good stars I am giving in this review are for your pork ribs I had a few weeks ago, and the good service. The ribs could be meatier and less bonier.

They are always having some kind of specials or some kind of food.I enjoy there coupon flyers because I know I'm going to save money on something I will need.Then there's the deli smoked 1/2 chicken.Oh, that smoked taste,it is very good! Must try it when u get a chance!
