Are you looking for an item that your pet might need? This is the place. The owner is respectful, and always willing to answer your question regarding your pet. The pet adoption process is pretty neat. I love that Mrs. Dawn has an adoptable pen. Cats are seen through the enclosure. Many come and go. These furbabies need loving homes. They do well with the attention they need. I noticed that some cats are more reserved than others, but they are all sweet in their own unique way.

I never noticed this place until I Googled it. So glad I found it because we found the sweetest kitty here. She's been a little fur ball of joy. Definitely plan to adopt another cat soon. Fees are not outrageous and all the cats seemed very friendly. I've already recommended this place to so many family and friends.

Great place to come for premium brand pet food, treats and other assorted pet related items. The ladies were very nice and helpful and so kind to my Chewie. I’ll definitely be back!

I purchased a rescue cat from this facility and it ended up being the best thing for the cat any myself. When we recieved our kitten she was on the verge of death with an abscess in her paw that likely would have taken her life. Unfortunately the woman Dawn who runs this facility failed to realize she was gravely ill and allowed us to adopt her anyway. Our kitten needed emergency surgery 3 days after we adopted her. We will look elsewhere for our newest family member because this place is not transparent. Reevaluate your business practices and get things in order.

I love this store! If you want the best for your pet then Healthy Paws is most definitely where you should go for all your pets needs. The owner will be the person helping you with whatever you stop in for. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring and nice and will offer advice when asked. The prices are right, products are top quality and service is professional and courteous! There's no reason for me to go anywhere else!And Healthy Paws is one of the very few pet stores in this area that sell "NutriSource" dog food!

Been here a few times throughout the decade when my brother-in-law sent me to buy a certain brand of dog food for his mini greyhound. Customer service is a hit or miss. But what is consistent is the overwhelming litter box smell and the sickly appearing cats in the large cage roaming together with healthy cats and no seperation. Many cats with notable eye discharge, mated hair, and sneezing. I stopped going here because of this.

I have been buying my cat food here for quite some time. Dawn and her husband are very knowledgeable and always extremely helpful with any concerns I have about my cats. I recommend them to all of my friends and their experiences have been good, also. The quality of food they sell is much healthier than your big box stores. I'm happy to support local merchants!!

We love Healthy Paws. Dawn is awesome. She seriously loves animals, and it shows. We have adopted from here and it went great. If you drop by consider donating to her cat sanctuary, she really does take care of them.

This place is awful and they don't take care of the cats in their "shelter". I adopted my cat from them sometime in December 2020 after my last cat had passed away. When I got to Healthy Paws the owner was rude and short with my mother and I and almost seemed like she wanted us out instead of our business. When we did convince her to let us look at the cats she had available she told us that several were not available to be adopted because they had some sort of infection. These sick cats were not separated from any of the other cats and they were all shoved into a large cage together. We asked about one cat in particular that she told us was unavailable and seemed to be a favorite of hers. Eventually, my mom and I settled on another cat that the owner was fine with letting us have even though he also had an "ear infection". We took this cat to the vet the next day and he was riddled with disease. He had an ear infection, a gum infection, a full-body fever, was covered in scabs either from his own scratching or other cats. His gums were so infected that 5/6 of his upper incisors fell out of his face when the vet tried to scrape plaque off of them during a routine cleaning. he was diagnosed with feline calicivirus, a highly contagious and possibly deadly respiratory virus. The vet said that it was very likely that he got it during his stay at the shelter and that it was a very real possibility that if I had not adopted him and started treatment as soon as I did he would have died. Please, PLEASE do not support this place and most of all do not surrender your cat here.

I adopted my cat here and Dawn was super helpful during the whole process and said if my cat has any health problems to call her first and she’d help as best she could or point me in the right direction so I don’t get ripped off. You can tell she’s super knowledgeable about what she does and truly cares for the animals she has.

I absolutely love this place. Good selection of the top premium foods, great pricing, groomer does a fantastic job, and the profit goes to rescue and adoption. This is an authentic Ma and Pa shop and they really love animals. I buy wet and dry food here but also DE and raw sometimes. But the best thing I love about Dawn is her advice. I saved a fortune when she told me how to fix mange and ringworm for just a few dollars. More important, her advice saved many of my rescue cats. This family has a lot of experience with animals and are happy to spend time helping you figure out how to manage your pet's overall health, even on a budget.

This is the only place locally that sells cases of the canned cat food we use. Lots of kitties up for adoption here. We've donated toys and money to help the cats. My only complaint is that the place smells of dirty litter box....so bad that it takes your breath away. I wish they could air the place our or install a filtration system.

For a week we are cat sitting an older cat of one of my kid's. They forgot the cat's dry food. So I was sent out to buy some. The staff was extremely helpful and showed me the perfect food. The cat is really enjoying it. I encourage you to patronize them.

The woman working there was not friendly at all. If she's the owner or manager then I don't know how she expects to get business if she's not welcoming to her own customers. I had heard good things about their grooming so I inquired about getting my cat groomed. I even made an appointment. Then I thought I'd walk around since I'd never been there before. I even said aloud "I've never been here before but a friend recommended you". No response. No, oh let me show you around. No oh well let me tell you what we do here. I even went to look at the kitties up for adoption. The woman didn't come to see if I was interested in any of them. Either she's really shy or just has really bad customer service. But you can't afford to be shy when you own your own business. I'll never go there again.

This place is great. The husband and wife run this place and they are good people. The wife is a huge cat lover. They have a little cat rescue place in the back. You can donate to help with the cost or a adopt a cute little meowing furball. I only buy cat food from them. I rather be giving my hard earned dollars to them than anyone else. Skip Walmart and Target and come here. The prices are about the same, so you mind as well support them. Plus if you pay in cash, you get a little discount. Win-win situation. ♥️😺🐕🐈🐩

I had a few cats (12 cats in total), that needed homes as my furbaby had kittens, plus the newborn kittens I had found under 2 weeks old. I called around to all these other rescues facilities for cats & no one could help me. I checked the facility & emailed Dawn with pictures of my cats, she said to bring them and as much as I was heartbroken 💔 to give them away, they needed to find their furever families. Dawn had someone waiting to foster the newborns and the other 4 cats were also taken in. I am grateful that she was able to take them in they were beautiful calico & tortoise females, a male cat all black and white, plus a black female cat so gentle. It seems that cats bring their babies to my cattio for security. Great place!!!

I buy frozen bone broth and it's a great price. Dawn always has it in stock. I also like that u can adopt kitties that need homes and they have a big area to hang out while waiting for their forever family.

We like coming here to have our dogs nails clipped. Only takes about ten minutes for our three little ones to be taken care of. They are fast and friendly. But I do wish they didn't charge the full amount for just clipping one of my babies dew claws. It's not like they're clipping all of her nails.Anyway, I do recommend going to them for nail clipping.

Dawn was so cool. I was seriously stressing about some adorable scruffy lil kittens we found abandoned on a dirt road here in Hacienda Heights. Ive grown so attached to these kittens that almost 4 weeks later they are healthy fun living lil cuddlers that deserve an awesome life. I said a prayer and walla I get a msg that recommended this wonderful place. Could not be any happier with the service that the owner Dawn of Healthy Paws. She was easy to talk to and understand on the phone. Honestly, she was so refreshing to do business with. There should be more professionals such as this. 👀😍✌ My storys simple. I found some kittens fell in love spoiled them rotten with wet can food and milk and would cook them eggs. However the Father says gotta go that very day! (3-4 wks later)Ms. Ferguson from Nextdoor App was so kind as to point me in the right direction. Healthy Paws are my kitty heros.

Love this little store, and the owner Dawn and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. High quality food and reasonable prices. You will not find here the usual junk food for pets. If you buy your pets food based on the most colorful label, then you need to talk with Dawn! There is grooming onsite as well.

This is a small pet store but they have products that you can not find at other pet stores. They have fresh frozen meat for your pets. They also carry food grade Diatomaceous to get rid of ants and fleas but safe to use around your pets. You can also adopt cats there. The workers are nice and knowledgeable.

I got a cat here, and at the time she had a problem with other cats, she'd hiss and scratch. But when she got her shots, the next time she came we set her down next to a dog and a cat (She was in the cage but she would've hissed either way.) And she started purring! I love her! (And the servise!) 10/10!

The problem I had was the owner Dawn, I took my dog in and asked not to cut the length of herear, she did anyways. I told her something, and she said the way the dog look when leavingreflect our business, then I said then you do not believe in customer service, what I say does notmatter.A month later I called for an appointment, mind you I did not expect to return. I called for a bath appointment no hair cutting. The husband answered, and must have recognize my voice andhanded it over to Dawn, she told me that I would probably be happier else where, seeing that Iwas not happy there last time. Its not the place that is bad, it Dawn the owner - she has attitudeproblems and does not know how to speak with people. This was not my first having conversation problems with Dawn, she does not know how to speak to people; not good in customer service. I liked everything until Molly my Shih Tzu mix ears were cut to short and I I asked in advance for them not to cut them. If you can put up with Dawn, then that a nice place to have your dog hair groomed. My personality clashed with hers, like I said I kept my mouth shut many many times, I was stupid to call back. I was desperate for Molly to be bathe.

I adopted a cat from this place and paid 130 dollArs to "RESCUE " a cat and I brought it home it had a runny nose and diarrhea constantly. Took him to the vet and he had feline herpes and some king of new worm. We have spent a small fortune on this kitten now. Then I find out my friend got a cat from here to and it was the same thing herpes not eating well spent a ton on the cat. Just do ur homework cats arnt always low maintenance animals
