Please note - I am married to one of the wonderful employees, so I'm a little biased! :)Our beloved dog was diagnosed with canine Lymphoma in November of 2023, and we knew the end was coming. I have the unique experience of being married to an employee and I can say with 100% honesty and clarity that the people at HGPMC truly, honestly care about your pet like they are their own. I was with my husband every step of saying goodbye to our dog, and I was amazed with the details EVERY animal gets when they are taken care of by these wonderful people.Dealing with loss and grief every day is hard, and I know it desensitizes people. Not these guys. They treat every single pet with so much love and care. Every detail from how pets are tracked, paw prints are taken, paperwork is down: it's meticulous and mindful. Nothing is done carelessly. These people work with intention, purpose, and empathy. Even if I wasn't married to an employee, I would still be incredibly impressed and pleased with the attention to detail and care taken with our dog.Our beautiful girl came home with all the details that make Heaven's Gate worth it: a certificate of cremation, a beautiful engraved urn, and her paw print, which my husband did himself. We didn't get special treatment, we got the treatment every single customer has when they choose Heaven's Gate.If my opinion seems biased, it's because it is, but knowing the care given to my dog makes that grief a little less painful and a little less severe. I am so grateful for their services and will always be ready to recommend them.

My husband found this place online and read the ratings and we decided to take our baby boy Zara here to get him cremated, this place truly lives up to the 5 star ratings and feedback from other customers, and we highly recommend anyone to bring their babies here.We were welcomed and helped out by Brian, him and his team at Heavens Gate are truly wonderful and compassionate. We felt very comfortable and were walked through the entire process in a stress-free way. I felt ease and closure knowing our baby was in good hands. We had plenty of time to say our final goodbyes and didn’t feel rushed.Overall everything we purchased was high quality (I.e the urn, jewelry, impressions of our babies paws) we got a nice gift bag with his certificate and a rainbow bridge card along with a necklace. Everything was worth coming to this place and we are very satisfied with our keepsakes. Thank you so so much again Heavens Gate!

At the beginning of 2024 we got the heartbreaking diagnosis that our 16 year old cat had stomach cancer. We had one good month with her before she refused to take her anti-nausea medication and we knew it was time to say goodbye. We were unimpressed with the cremation service my otherwise fantastic vet works and found Heaven’s Gate Pet Memorial Center while looking for alternatives. The options and price made us feel comfortable enough to call and the person I talked to was empathetic and patient so we decided to use their services. When we had to say goodbye, we brought our cat to them and I appreciated that at no point they tried to upcharge us. We also got the extra service of having her fur placed in a bottle and it was very nicely done. I also appreciated how nicely her remains were packaged when returned to us. I have already told two people about their services since the last thing anyone wants to do when their pet has passed or is sick, is research what to do with the body. While I hope I won’t need their services again for a long time, it is nice to know that Heaven’s Gate will be there if I need them in the future.

Our hearts are so completely filled with gratitude for the beautiful and respectful way that Heaven's Gate handled the cremation of our precious dog, Ziggy.I called Heaven's Gate the day Ziggy was scheduled to be put to sleep. A gentleman by the name of Josh answered the phone, and he could not have been kinder or more patient as I explained that we would be bringing Ziggy in later that day. He gave me general information, including directions.When we arrived that afternoon, the walk from the car to the front door felt like the longest, most painful walk of our lives. Josh greeted us and gently guided us to place Ziggy on a soft blanket covered, so appropriately, with hearts.Josh walked us through the process, and helped us decide on a few details. When we had completed the necessary arrangements, Josh told us to take our time saying our goodbyes, and he quietly left us alone with our sweet Ziggy.Three days later, we got the call that Ziggy was ready to be picked up. We were completely unprepared for the beautiful details surrounding the return of Ziggy's ashes. We were presented with a small bag containing Ziggy's beautiful cremation box, a memorial candle, a card with "The Rainbow Bridge" printed on it, the certificate of cremation, and a sweet keychain that read "No longer by my side but forever in my heart".The wonderful service provided by the beautiful people at Heaven's Gate made an extremely heartbreaking situation just a tiny bit easier. Being able to bring Ziggy back home in a dignified and memorable way...there is no way to put a price on that level of service.I highly recommend Heaven's Gate, and all the wonderful souls who work there tirelessly to help people honor their beloved pets. My baby boy Leo passed away suddenly yesterday, and Heaven's Gate was such a welcoming place during such a hard time. I live in Palo Alto and it was a Sunday, so all of the places near me were closed or, of the two that were open, were very sketchy. I wanted a place where I could bring Leo (a large chocolate lab) myself, have a private cremation, and be able to witness it, so I thought I'd have to wait until today (Monday), to have him cremated. It would have been difficult and not preferable to keep his body for that long, so finding Heaven's Gate was seriously a godsend. Ryan F. was incredibly kind, gentle, patient, and understanding, as well as considerate about my feelings throughout the process. He was open to having me be as much a part of the process as possible, which is what felt right for me as Leo's parent, caretaker, and friend of ten years. I learned a lot and felt as good as I could about my Leo boy's departure, during these final steps of his time with me. I am so grateful for this place and the work they do to care for our loved ones when they've transitioned. Thank you, so so much.

I’m so very thankful for the services that Heaven’s Gate Pet Memorial provided. Early this month I had lost my beloved cat of 3 years and the next day they picked up her body and held onto her cremated remains until I was able to pick her up at a later date. When I did finally pick up her remains, I only expected to pick up her urn and nothing else. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see they had created a cremated certificate, provided a card about the Rainbow Bridge, included a keychain, and included a candle. They were also very patient and kind. I definitely plan to continue to use this establishment for any other future pet cremations I may need.The image is of her memorial placement, at her favorite spot in my room where she destroyed the curtain trying to always see outside the window. The cat statue I purchased in Canada because it replicated how she looked laying on her overhang, the hanging paw she’d use to wack at anyone who sat too close to her, mostly me.

My wife and I just lost our cat Greywind, he was 11 years old and our baby boy. From the start Heaven's Gate Pet Memorial Center was so kind, patient and understanding. I picked out an urn, necklace, and paw imprints for him. Ryan is who helped us through the process, he gave us some time alone with Greywind, and ensured me he would be taken care of. About a week later he let us know that Greywind was ready to come home. He was wrapped beautifully and carefully. They put a beautiful pendant and candle in the bag with him too. My heart feels a little more full now that he is home with us. I am so grateful to all of you and for all the kindness you showed my wife and I. Thank you for being so good to Greywind.

I've been here before about 5-6 yrs ago and was not wanting to come back but due to unfortunate circumstances here I am. They are always very compassionate and understanding. They let me cry it out both times and let me take my time saying goodbye to my dog's. It's the most miserable feeling having to loose a pet .

Loosing a pet is one of the most heartbreaking events. But this company and their staff was beyond kind, helpful and respectful during this terrible time. I was able to bring my beloved Riley home within 3 days. Not only was the box beautiful but there was a card, necklace and candle inside the bag (unexpected tokens of kindness). We had our old dog cremated with Heaven's Gate. We are very thankful for the care the staff took with our boy, and they helped ease a difficult time in our life with their kindness in assisting us with picking out a beautiful box to store his ashes. When time came to bring him back home, Heaven's Gate provided a couple unexpected extra small trinkets (a memorial keychain, candle, etc) that we found to be very caring and thoughtful. Would highly recommend Heaven's Gate for their services.

Our family dog passed away unexpectedly and I am thankful that Heaven's Gate was able to accommodate a same-day cremation last minute on a Saturday.I live across the country and I am grateful that Heaven's Gate was able to come out on short notice to help my mother with pick up and navigating to/from their location.The staff I spoke to over the phone was very helpful and comforting, so I really appreciated the care and compassion they extended during this difficult day.

I looked for all the cremation services in my area and Heaven's Gate was the only one that fit the bill of everything I was looking for. I called to schedule to bring in my Zeus and we were helped swiftly. They have been doing this for a very long time I can tell there's a mood of being desensitized (which would be normal) but this did not take away the care they provided for my fur baby. It also did not affect the quality of service I received. It met all of my expectations. I chose them because of the stellar reviews on Google and Yelp. Like I told my sister, it's far from Sacramento but "only the best for Zeus".I was able to see Zeus one last time before he was cremated. I asked for his blanket and flowers around him to be included and it wasn't an issue at all. I didn't know that cremation takes hours and in the case of my Zeus, it took about four hours. My sister came down from Reno and offered to drive and she needed to get back since she was working the next morning which is why I opted for same day service.They offer a lot of upgrades on urns, necklaces with your fur baby's ashes, paw prints, multiple designs and engravings etc. I upgraded on everything BECAUSE I ONLY WANTED THE BEST for my Zeus. I picked the large square urn that has three sides to put photos in. However, I wished the quality of the urn was much better. I have a hard time taking the acrylic frame out because the sizing is a little off. There's very little give so one of the frame protrude just a tiny bit when putting it back in. It also is a little tight once the photos are added in. Other than that, I love that I can see Zeus on the three points of views.I upgraded with a necklace and picked one that was very pretty. It started discoloring on the back and the middle part on the flower came off so I had to glue it. I called to see if I can have it replaced and was very happy I can free of charge. I was informed that the one I picked is plated. They have stainless steels pendants for durability and I already have one picked.If you need a pet cremation service, I am confident to recommend this place. They met all my expectations regarding quality of care and service, and prices. Like I mentioned above, I only wanted the best for Zeus and they definitely delivered.

My wife and I have unfortunately have had to use Heaven's Gate one to many times. From the very first time to now, Heaven's Gate has been very caring and has given us time to say goodbye to each and every one of them. These are our kids. Heaven's Gate has gone beyond the call of duty, If anyone who has the unfortunate situation that event happened to you.give them a call they do wonderful memories of your pet and are very compassionate about what you are going through. I feel bad for them at times you know that it gets to them as well. But thank you for being here when we need you.

I had an excellent experience with Heaven's Gate after my cat passed away. They were very sympathetic to my loss. Their basic cremation service is reasonably priced, much cheaper than my vet, and includes a nice urn which you get to choose from several varieties. They also offer several additional rememberence items for additional cost, such as a ceramic paw print, but they do not pressure you to buy any.

I wish I could give this business 20 stars for the level of service they have given. they were tactful, kind and considerate. even the most basic package was beautifully presented with all the details even the quality of the cardstock. I have paid similar prices in Sacramento but not nearly as top quality and much better customer service. they treat your pets with care and respect, Ill be recommending them to everyone.

Given the unfortunate circumstances of finding this business, they are so sympathetic if you lose a pet. We lost our dog one weekday afternoon, unexpectedly. They took him in that day and they were very understanding and accommodating. Derby was home 4 days later. They go out of their way for the special touches of dealing with your loss like a simple keychain and candle. Staff was so nice and I’m glad my dog was taken care of. Thank you so much.

Losing our dog pretty suddenly on Friday was a devastating experience for our family, but Brian at Heaven's Gate made our process thereafter go quickly and smoothly. We got to bring our boy home only 3 days later in a beautiful carved urn. We appreciate the sweet bag with little extras that was included too. I had Heavens Gate come get my dog after she was put down. A young man, Ryan was there to take Ivory. He came in with a clean folded blanket laid it down and gently picked her up to put her on the blanket. He put her on the stretcher and made sure she was covered as he took her outside. I am forever grateful for the kind and compassionate help Heaven's Gate provided to me at my dog's Bella Joy passing on September 16th, 2022. Brian and Jimmy were good listener and I received excellent service all the way around. There was a 45 minute delay at the pick up for my dog. On one of the worst days of my life, these wonderful people were there for me.I was suddenly and unexpectedly having to euthanize my favorite kitty, and they were incredibly compassionate and understanding in listening to the story of my pain, and then helping me set up everything that I wanted done the very next day.Ryan even told me to call him anytime that night or next morning if I thought of anything else I needed, or just wanted to talk about.When I took my Herbie in, Jake participated in the small service I'd prepared, and did everything possible to make me feel comfortable, and honor my loved one.I just don't have enough good things to say about these people.They are over an hour drive away for me, and worth the effort.If I could give them 10 stars, I would.Thank you for your respect and your caring, in helping me say goodbye 💔

These people a genuinely good and caring people when it comes to you and your beloved one. My Duke- German shepherd of 12 years young who was well loved and displayed laughter and love to this family and will be sorrowfully missed. He was our family.When he went quickly in the night. They were very easy to deal with at a very stressful time. Ryan was very compassionate. and remembered who we were when we called in the next day to follow up. The turn around time was 4 DAYS. The competition was 4 to 5 WEEKS. The more time "in transit" the more chances for loss of our dog's precious ashes. Why take a chance? Pricing was very competitive and the service was better. The box containing our dog's ashes was beautiful! I highly recommend Heaven's Gate.
