Place is great if your looking for good deals. It can get very busy at times when not enough workers are working which can cause the lines to become very slow. Also alot of times they make it where only 2 workers are working, and one person on register who than has to stock shelves while watching out for people coming to the register. Which makes it harder for the employees to get things that are more important done.

Not very organized. Kind of a mess and some very interesting folks shop here. I got a few things that were cool, though. It's not a great place for real bargains. You really have to sift through everything to find something worth buying. A great place to pass time and people-watch if that's what you're into, lol.

This is the only Dollar General in the area we have been to so I can’t compare to others in surrounding cities, but its always cluttered and sometimes you can’t go down some of the aisles because boxes/trash are piled up within them. I get they have to stock, but there is never anyone around these aisles. I don’t think we’ve ever seen more than 1 or 2 people working in the store at a time, its a good place for snacks, trinkets, and holiday or seasonal items.

The younger kids that work there are rude, but Dave is an awesome dude. My husband almost got into an altercation with a young freckled face punk that worked there. But all in all the prices are great so we continue to go. And as I mentioned Dave is awesome.

Dollar General is an EXCELLENT store! It has thre best sales. My 6 year old son loves to save any money he gets so he can go there to buy toys. They always have really nice toys for $1 or $5. The $1 toys are actually really good toys that would cost much more if we bought them somewhere else. I even bought Christmas presents from there. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars was because they don't really have a meat section or department. Other than that they have a little bit of everything. Plus all of their prices are fabulous. I absolutely love going to The Dollar General Store. I totally recommend that people go check it out!

Workers are always so polite and helpful.It's a perfect in and out store for odds and ends needed for projects, food and cleaners. It's a small store with some good deals. Good job wheatland workers!

Dollar General is possibly a upscale version of their name insofar as General as their in fact as good as larger businesses in their merchandise and variety is very up front. You can in there and for say $20.00 get more bang for the buck due to their consistent sales tags in almost every aisle. Guess it sounds like I kinda favor them, your guessed right, in today's economy ones gotta get all they can and that again you will there.Moved here from San Francisco, good things up this way for all bar none...

This is the best Dollar General I have ever shopped at! Aisles are always neat and stocked. Bathrooms are clean! The staff are super friendly especially Harley Queen! Always enjoy shopping here.

Hands down the most for in these people you'll ever encounter. This was my favorite store before all of this havoc. And to know that they've stepped up above and beyond to help seniors and help the rest of us just melts my heart. Again these people are by far miracle workers in a situation like this period but even previous to all this and they were amazing people that's why I'm still here

"Dollar" General is a bit misleading, very few items priced in the $1.00 range. However, they do have a large selection of decently priced items.On a separate note, i did find it disconcerting that the cashier (and a majority of customers) was not wearing a face mask... i was actually very uncomfortable having him touch my items

Everyone in Wheatland is pretty awesome...Dollar General included! Their associates are friendly and knowledgeable of the products they carry in their store. Our Dollar General carries a wide variety. Its seldom that they don't have what I went in for. Love that Dollar General.

I think the best part about visiting this store is the friendly staff, whom all seem to be locals and if not, they sure treat everyone like family. Although it's just a dollar store, it has changed the town of Wheatland in a good way, providing us with more convenient and affordable options. I just can't stress on the convenience! I really appreciate this store.

This store will not let the public use their restrooms. I go by there regularly on my way to Marysville. For this reason I will never buy anything in their store. I have let them know this and now I have let you know this as well. It's a mean practice to the customerperiod for that they don't deserve my business. Best wishes

I was reluctant to stop in to a Dollar General because I thought they were just another 99¢ type store. When we would get an advertisement in the newspaper it went in the trash with the rest of the junk mail. But then I noticed them popping up in locations where normally shopping selection was scarce. So on my way home from work, in a rush I stopped in needing a couple of items. To my surprise, place small little store was busting out big with selection and sales. May cart was full by the time I left. In fact I have a few main items I won't buy anywhere else because no one can beat their price

Absolutely love the staff that works there...great bunch of people...super nice and just polite...i am in there almost twice a week for smokes or cat food and whoever works is always nice not necessarily overly crazy nice but just make you feel comfortable and they always know where everything is...even weird things that are not items that sell daily...the store is always clean, smells nice and despite being next to a railroad pretty quiet...parking is nice lots of spaces...pretty much can find whatever you need in here cheaper than anywhere else in this locale

Customer service is okay. I am a student who like to go there after school and get snacks but they always ask me to put my backpack on the floor next to the door for "safety" which I think is unfair and they shouldn't assume everyone steals there.

In my opinion I think Dollar general it's way better than Dollar tree and 99 cent store , this place sales headphones sweat pants socks shoes milk chips soda probably iced tea shampoo deodorant vitamins where the selection of vitamins is really good .

We needed something to shoot at. This was the next best place to the 99 cent store to find it. Well , in Wheatland, CA your options are extremely limited.Should call this store "Dollar'S General" due to items being sold are anywhere from 2 dollars to 20 dollars, yes, just like every other store in the U.S. items are generally dollars.
