This is the first DG I have been in, so I can't really compare to others. But is was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and they were enforcing the mask requirement. I had forgotten to bring a sun hat on my trip and found a sufficient one here as well as a few goodies to add to the picnic basket. Be sure to check out Paul Bunyon just across the street from the store.

There is always a deal to find at Dollar general.But I do find they advertise sale items in sales ad which the store doesn't carry.I'm particular, Pepsi products. Advertising 18 packs that the Pepsi man say don't exist.

Great store for a quick trip to get what ya need. Presently, (9/20/22) the coolers are under maintenance & no products in them. They'll be back & stocked soon enough.

The staff are very helpful. Very clean store. The company needs to ship more supplies into this store more often. They run out of everything fast.

The Dollar General in Westwood is the best within 100 miles at least if not further. This is the cleanest, most organized, best selection of products of any Dollar General I have ever been to. They have everything except produce, and I'm pretty sure they're working on that, so we should have that soon too. Everyone I've dealt with has been kind, courteous, and efficient. Truly a 5 star store. Keep up the great work 👍

Great for general shopping. I go frequently for dairy, frozen meals, kitchen utensils, storage, garden, personal care, etc. Great to have her so close.

Dollar General is located in Westwood CA. About 13 miles outside of Chester CA. just above Lake Amador. Westwood is a small friendly community. The Dollar General store has been recently added to this community and we're glad that it's here. Especially when there's no other place to buy groceries except in Chester and in Susanville CA. This Dollar General Carrie's the same as most all other Dollar Generals and of course with reasonably priced products. It's a great place to shop. 😎

Low quality junk food but reasonable variety for size. Was only option after local store closed. Will be shopping at independent competitor store that recently opened

We stop at Dollar General to buy their 2 liter bottle of Minute Maid Lemonade & struck out again! This was the second store we checked. Their prices were higher on several items so we left w/o making a purchase.
