WORST PLACE, SERVICE & PEOPLE SKILLSI went to leave my 7 year old Maltese to get groomed and due to work I asked if I could pick him up at 5pm, they eventually said ok but then started looking up a 4-5 year old profile for him and OF COURSE it’s not up to date they they started treating me as if I would lie about my pups vaccinations!!!Just as an FYI I don’t live in LA & have flown with him from Europe. WHY WOULD THEY LET MY DOG FLY IF HES NOT FULLY VACCINATED!?!?They seen my point, I told them I can get his passport and show them they then said they didn’t have time for him….. EXPLAIN????

Okay, first off I just want to say that this has been the CUTE-EEST little pet store ever, I’ve been recommended this place a few times to get recommendations for my HIGHLY picky HIGHLY sensitive cat. I spoke to the manager about some cat food / treats recommendations, he was very helpful and very personable… safe to say I left with a little more than just food and treats, it has been a few months since & my Gamora LOVES the food, and she hasn’t had any tummy issues. 10/10 recommend this place.

We have now taken our pup to healthy spot for about a year or so and we love it! Our dog is very sensitive and every groomer we tried would leave some kind of razor burn or even huge gash on him. We went to so many different places… And tried so many different people and finally we found Benji! He has never hurt Mateo and he makes him look so adorable. It has been the best thing we can’t ever lose him!!!!

I have to talk to management about the grooming. I keep coming back with the hope that the stylist will learn what I’m asking for, and it seems he’s listening to me less and less. Not to mention the lopsided mustache on my mini schnauzer. Chopped on one side, and lengthy on the other. He did almost nothing that I asked for.

My mini Aussie puppy had her first ever grooming this week at Healthy Spot. I showed Laura, the groomer, photos of some Aussies I found on the internet, and she did exactly the same trim for mine. My puppy looks the prettiest I’ve ever seen her! So fluffy and soft. I’m truly happy with my experience and will come again.

I love healthy spot, this branch is no exception.We had Laura from grooming take care of my dog’s dew claw curled nail, he’s fidgety and I couldn’t do that at home. She was so wonderful ❤️ took the best care of him.Additionally, he’s a picky eater and the employees at the counter had so many samples to try out with him so we picked the one that he immediately devoured. Very helpful staff! My go to for all my dog’s needs really!

My dog's haircut was one of the worst she's ever had. The groomer totally ignored what I asked her to do. I told her to make sure the hair on her face, especially around her eyes, was cut short, because she has cataracts and has difficulty seeing. I told her to make sure her bangs were cut well behind the eyes. There was still hair in front of her eyes. I told her summer cut. Although her torso was cut short, it was uneven. Her ears looked bigger after the cut than before. It looked like the hair on her legs was not cut at all. I called and left a message for the manager to call me. I never got a call. It is obvious they don't care. They have lost a customer. She's a small poodle 11 pounds. We paid $110 for her grooming. It was only worth 11.

I brought my puppy for his first haircut. The staff are nice and professional. The place is clean. It was very crowded when I arrived and chaotic. I requested a trim to half his fur length but it is still too long and getting matted by his hind legs just two day later... it's expensive but I feel like he needs another trim....I am grateful for the 1st time customer discount.

Friendly staff and a good supply of better quality pet food for dogs and cats. Was driving by and decided to stop in. They do have parking, which is a plus. Of course, pets are welcome in the store.

Have been to two healthy spots and the experience in both has been the same; they are happy to have you and your pet in their store and are so helpful in helping you find the right products for your furbaby. Have gladly faced DTLA traffic and parking for a trip here with my pup.

Healthy Spot is the best but his Healthy Spot location is even more the best! Our dogs strut out of there like they are Alpha Wolves. (They are fluffly little puppers who are not alpha anything.) Grooming is on point!

My dog needs to be hand stripped which is a specialized technique I was told there were only 1or 2 that do it at HS. Now I was told that all groomers at HS do it. Well let me tell you they don’t. My poor dog looks terrible. It’s all uneven and the front is mis-shaped. For over $100 plus tip he should look better than this.

I can only speak to the dog grooming service, wiich is why I go here. They do a wonderful job with my Chocolate Labrador. And what I particularly like is you can schedule a specific time and they honour it. They will call you 15 or 20 minutes before the your dog is ready, So you can basically pick the dog up without it having to spend time in a cage waiting. They are a little on the pricey side but the groomers are all wonderful and the service is 1st rate.

I've been bringing my dog here since he was only 4 months old. All of the staff treat my dog Latte like he's part of the family. His whole body wags show that they treat him really well! The quality products, the super friendly doggy daycare, grooming and retail staff make this place awesome and it's always a treat for me and my pup!

This place has amazing staff. Every time I go there I ask a ton of questions and they are always patient and have alot of great suggestions.Ruben helped me out and I got a great treat to give my cat :)I also love seeing the puppies in the daycare!!!

Regularly come here for nail trim for both of my dogs. I’ve always tip well, even for a simple trim. Today I was unable to have their nails trim even though the salon was still opened. This is the second time I’ve been turned away at this salon. I wont be back. Thank goodness for PETCO on Doheny. Took us right in!

The girl who works here is so nice and basically did all the shopping for me. If you're an Instacart customer or shopper definitely make sure you tip extra because the people here are just so good and really take care of the customer and there's definitely enough people working here to make sure that happens which is a smart move. Why wouldn't you want to come to this awesome shop?

I come in here all the time to get my dogs nails done. They do a great job, especially since one of my dogs is a screamer. They are always super friendly and helpful. They also have great events like happy hours and costume contests. Definitely my favorite pet spot

My sister is new to the area and we were looking for some dog food for our picky 12 yr old chihuahua, and Kaos, who was working at the front, was so great. Welcomed us with a treat for our dog, then he helped us find a variety of options that might help his appetite grow. They have a huge selection of healthy options and other necessities as well as a salon and day care for small dogs — which was full of happy dogs with impeccable grooming that each had their own extra large bed to nap in. Great experience, will definitely return soon.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Liz even remembered my dog's name (Boots) after only one visit. They do cool mixers at night sometimes where they serve treats for dogs an appetizers for people. Always meeting cool friendly people there. Cheaper prices than Petco with better quality.

We just relocated here from San Francisco and Ruben was extremely welcoming and helpful in answering our questions and giving a breakdown on everything this location offers. We have a one year old Havanese puppy that we've been taking to the Mission Bay location in San Francisco -- of which HealthySpot doggie daycare has helped tremendously in building confidence. Immediately upon entering, you're met with the familiar smell of HealthySpot and our puppy was ecstatic. A really nice touch and helped our puppy feel like he's in a familiar place. Once we settle on a permanent living location, we'll absolutely be a HealthySpot location nearby!

With every wash and cut ear cleaning is included, 3 times now they have not cleaned my dogs ears until we bring it up to them, also we pay extra for teeth cleaning twice they have not done it until we bring it up to them ( something for other customers to look out for). Also just be aware if your dog actually takes a good amount of time to wash and cut they well cut corners make sure to check your pet. They do an uneven cut them brush the fur over to hide it (Something else to look out for).Sometime they don't want to deal with it and finish a 4h job in 2 and say they are (Clear sign to look out for). A after many disappointing visits this was the last one bye health spot of poor work ethic.

Ho here to have my dog's paws trimmed and teeth brushed. The staff is great and always friendly. They're knowledgeable and have great products. The toys may cost more, but they last and are quality.

The small dog daycare is awesome. We like to drop our dog off in the morning and let him play for a few hours before heading into grooming - by the time we pick him up he is happy, clean, and dead tired (just the way we like him). All dogs are evaluated before their first time in daycare for health and safety (yay!). Daycare staff is attentive, writes daily reports for each dog, and takes them out for walks too.

I have only had good experiences taking my dog there to be groomed. The staff is very friendly and, more importantly, my dog always looks great when he comes out; he also seems to really enjoy going in to get cleaned!
