The store is always beautiful and clean. Bright lights and beautiful displays make me want to buy more than I should. Best deal on dog treats. And finally, a huge plus, how friendly and helpful the staff is for finding things and at checkout.

On Feb.26 my husband and I bought a cake from the bakery Viktor Benês. The strawberry shortcake was really distasteful. Let’s start with the frosting, had no flavor I would have added a touch of vanilla bean! Adding coconut flakes around that cake added no flavor to the frosting, it was a bad combination. Why coconut on a strawberry shortcake?! Now the cake was moist, I give you that it was okay. 👍 Lastly the strawberries , it could have had more strawberries since weren’t macerated(very disappointing) it could t added great flavor. RENAUD’S PATISSERIE is the bakery to go to in a Gelson’s store. Jenni was really nice to us and she decorated our cake.

Visiting for the weekend from out of town. I love this place, bakery, deli, and produce. The staff is friendly and the store looks amazing. The food is fresh and sourced locally.

It's a great place and there is a variety of delicious organic foods as well as nonorganic. I bought the same items about five days later at Amazon fresh and the price was less than half at Amazon fresh. I do appreciate quality food, and I found the same quality at both locations, but the prices for dramatically different. They were the same products just drastically reduced. To be completely fair though I was given a coupon for 20% off my entire purchase a $50 or more at Amazon fresh when I walked in the door and that might've contributed to the great savings, but it still doesn't account for me spending over $200 at Gelsons and $87 at Amazon for approximately the same items. Follow me if you want to find more savings and great locations.

As for me; I love shopping at Gelson's. I've been a loyal customer for over 40 years. When it comes to purchasing the very best seafood, meat, and produce I know where to go. You get quality at Gelson's.

I don't typically write reviews but my recent trip to this Gelson's was very unpleasant. An employee approached me and goes, 'you might want to get your dog checked'. After some back and forth I realize he's accusing my dog of getting sick on their floor. Regardless if my pet did or did not, his approach wasn't very friendly. I then walk over to where the man says my pet got sick and ask the woman standing next to the mess, 'did you see my dog get sick?' she replies she did not but the mess appeared after my dog and I were there. I then apologize to the man mopping up the mess and he wouldn't even make eye contact with me... I truly don't think my dog got sick; she was walking beside me our whole trip and I never heard or saw her get sick. Again, regardless if my pet did or did not, the way I was treated wasn't kind. I hope the next time a spill or mess is made in their store, the employees would refrain from making their patrons feel bad.

I was craving sushi and noticed the sushi bar here so I decided to grab a bite. They do serve some high quality fresh fish! I had the albacore crunch roll and the handroll trio and was satisfied.

The staff is super friendly at this store. I shop here multiple times per week and always leave with a smile. The aisles are always stocked and organized and some of my favorite products were on sale my most recent trip!

They are charging $6.99 for ONE red bell pepper.It cements the fact that they grossly overcharge for their products and that I will only shop at Gelson’s in an ABSOLUTE EMERGENCY.

I remembered, I wish I could find a way to let the Management at the store now that they are taking in the hot food too early post pandemic. Everything is broken down and cleaned up and put away hours before the store closing. I understand wanting to get it done so you can get out of there but it’s about an hour or so earlier than it used to be. And I wanted to tell the Management that the staff doesn’t seem to be as friendly any longer. I used to rank the staff at the grocery stores with Gelsons almost and Trader Joe’s, about the same. followed by pavilions, but I feel that pavilions has now surpassed the friendliness of Gelsons. It’s like you could be anywhere now certainly do not have the same friendly attitude. Honestly I know the food market is tough but the store could use a refresh. Believe me, I know when you’re offering high-end products at high end prices with customers who are entitled and a bit strange it is not easy. But that’s what you do and that’s where you locate so you need to figure it out.

Love, love, LOVE Gelson's ❤️ Aside from the excellent grocery selection, Gelson's has become a go-to family restaurant option. We often pick up a turkey dinner and some dessert for lunch/dinner to eat at the beach or park. I like how they slice off the dry part and give me the juicy part underneath 😋 And that cranberry sauce is really good-I always get extra! The teenagers always split up and get the soup/salad bar, sushi/poke bar, or some Wolfgang Puck pizza. The bakery is a must stop for me-cookies, cakes, chocolate strawberries, pies.. yes, please! It's perfect when we just wanna grab some food real quick. Def worth checking out for more than just a grocery run 👍

always a pleasure to spend my money there. fruits, veggies and everything else including the deli, etc., is awesome. and we don't have to unload our grocery carts like they have over at the Ralph's. Gelson's still does it the old-fashioned way. Thank you for that. :) I have been shopping at the WeHo Gelson's for just over 30 years.

Tell your security guy to QUIT!!! The one that’s one staff right now… every time I come in, he stops me and tells me he needs to look in my purse. Like what the hell!?!? Then I come in again and he’s like “your going to buy something, right?” What the hell!?!?? He makes me feel so uncomfortable I don’t even want to come here anymore. I live close by, so this is my home grocery store and all he does it bug me!!! Tell him now to quit!!!

i bought 3 dozen eggs. There was a "bad" egg, or "bad" eggs. I had to throw them all out.There was a hard congealed material inside the eggs. I have never seen that before.I could not trust that the eggs were ok

Superb ROCK STAR customer service 24/7! Every single employee in this store (including the awesome staff in the coffee shop/caffe) deserves the ultimate raise! They always go over & beyond and always have a positive, happy & uplifting attitude no matter what time of day I come in …even if I’m rushing in 10 min before the store closes they always give superb customer service that can’t be matched or beat by any other store I’ve ever shopped in intentionally & in America! I mean this! I have literally seen difficult rude entitled Weho customers be mean & condescending to some of these awesome employees at times & I’ve seen homeless, drugged out & mentally ill customers come in acting confrontational & psycho …putting their lives in danger but they always maintain a calm , pleasant , positive attitude no matter what …,and treat everyone no matter the race , religion, status or mental condition with professionalism, patience & love! If I were a millionaire I’d personally give every employee a raise or a bonus out of my own bank account but unfortunately I’m a starving artist/musician lol & chasing my dream as an aspiring actress in the middle of a shut down & strike..:-(…but anyway …I pray that the executives at Gelson’s know the worth of these incredible employees & will make sure they get raises & bonuses before the holiday!
