Our room had mold in the bathroom and it appeared that something was spilled next to the bed but not fully cleaned up so it was slightly sticky. The bed was rough to sleep on. Did have a nice fridge and microwave . Close to Hi Lo Cafe and Ellies Cafe.Nearby activities: Close to Hi Lo Cafe yummy food. And Ellie's cafe and bakery.Walkability: Walking distance to gas station and food

Let's face it... it's a motel so you should know what to expect, having said that my experience as follows.I was greeted by a friendly face eager to please, when arriving in the room I noticed it had a mini fridge, microwave and a coffee maker (this made me happy). From past experiences I know to look under the fitted sheets for any little spec of black dust, so I did and was happy it was triple wrapped, then to my surprise on the bottom sheet there was fur hair and blood. When I asked for clean sheets they apologized and took care of it. Over all for just one night it was fine.Nearby activities: Gift shopWalkability: FoodFood & drinks: Near by great restaurants in waking distance.

I liked everything but the bed and showerThe bed sheets and pillows cases were ( looked) dirty one had few little stains of blood, the shower very small and the curtain moldy and short ( I made a puddle of water while showering and had to use towels to dry it up.The coffee pot was dirty with leftover of coffee dried and old.I stopped to rest for the night and freshen up . I couldn't. Thank God I had a blanket and two pillows with me that I used. Please pay more attention to those things.housekeeper has to do a better job.

My husband and I paid $95 to sleep in the truck in the parking lot. I have no idea what they did to the rooms, or what they use to clean them with, but it made me ill. I could not breathe and my eyes were burning. It smelled like they used heavy ammonia to clean with, then used a sickly sweet air freshener to try and cover the ammonia smell. The people wouldn't give us a refund, but instead moved us to a different room with the same results. At least I can breathe fresh air in our truck.

From the outside, Townhouse is not particularly impressive, and the exterior staircase is quite shabby. But my room was clean, tidy, and reasonably quiet. Wifi was not working for me, but I have few expectations of public wifi and I always use my phone hotspot anyway. Service was friendly and fast.Walking distance across the street is the Hi-Lo diner, very convenient and quite decent selections and food quality. For a room this inexpensive, a very good bargain.

This place is so awesome! The guy that runs this place is very friendly, and he's from Fiji so he told me a lot of interesting things about Fiji. The rooms are awesome! They're in extremely good repair, especially the shower. I think the carpets are new too. The heater works great, which was especially important for me, because I was super cold outside, but toasty warm inside. It's a great location. It's right by a cool coffee shop and by a great diner. There are big fridges in each room, and a lot of free coffee, and plenty of cups in sealed containers. It's a little more expensive than Motel 6, but it's very, very nice. Check in is quick. The beds are very comforable. The walls aren't soundproof, so don't plan on wild parties here, but it is a comfortable place to stay. It's very, very close to the freeway.

Clean and comfortable. Quiet despite being on the highway. Several long term renters from Mill fire. All very kind. Felt very safe too. Owners are super friendly and very helpful.

Front desk was very nice. Room was wonderful, evidence of update. New secure door and new lock. Very clean, new comfortable bedding. Updated bathroom. On main highway but had no road noise, slept well. Limited parking but off road overflow available.

The owner is a well mannered and exceptionally clean person. This transfers over to his recently remodeled rooms that are super nice and clean. Plus why not stay a place that has both class and comfort at an affordable rate. I would recommend this motel to everone local and travelers. Thank you Nick for making my new year start on such a positive note... ☺

I forget the gentleman's name that runs the place unfortunately but let me tell you this. Absolutely the best hotel manager we have come across in our travels. The check in is open 24hours which was amazing. Very down to earth and polite. The rooms are very cozy and clean. The parking lot is a bit small but you can use the lot right next door. Very quiet rooms as you are right off the main road and we didn't hear anything at all. We are from Toronto Canada and the manager has family close to us in Brampton so we had a good talk and realized how small the world is lol. Weed is a great place to stop by and stay for the day or two.

We quickly chose a place to stay the night, and I don't feel we could have been any luckier. The room was clean, the bathroom is quite nice, it looked recently remodeled. Rooms get kind of stuffy because of the lack of ventilation, but the small, loud a.c. unit did the job. I heard almost nothing from neighbors. Extremely simple, best bang for your buck. Do yourself a favor and rest easy here.

After seeing the rooms at motel 6 this was a breath of fresh air...literally. The rooms were very clean and had been remodeled recently. The owner/manager immediately recognized our plight when we informed him that we had just been at Motel 6 and gave us the room above his he generally reserved for his family for a discounted rate. The room was small but cozy, with a separate room for our teenage son. A small refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave was included. Bathroom was immaculate and fully stocked. Parking was tight in the main lot but overflow parking was ample. The hotel was centrally located, within a short walk of shops, restaurants, and coffee houses. Definitely coming back whenever we are in the Shasta/Weed area.

Recommend! We stayed 1 night. The location is great, a good cafe down the street, other restaurants nearby and it was quiet at night. The room was clean, bed comfortable, ac worked well and wasn't too loud. There is a fridge, tv, good shower and amenities. The owner, Navin (not sure on spelling) is great. He was very friendly on check in, recommended a restaurant and even gave us an early morning ride to the Greyhound.

Front desk guy was great and really nice. The motel itself is a bit rough around the edges. The AC blew cold but let out a weird smell. $70 a night. Great view of Mount Shasta when you get to the parking lot though.

An older property that has been remodeled numerous times in the past. Although it shows it's age, it is a good place to spend the night. The room was clean and comfortable.Wi-fi: Wifi was good and speed was normal.

2 stars is right. The only reason I am not giving one star is because they ended up reversing the charge. Big note:DO NOT TRUST THE WEBSITE, PETS ARE NOT ALLOWEDI have the screenshot to prove that the website states "small pets allowed" but this is apparently false for when I and my girlfriend came to srtay while we were in the middle of a move got turned away. It was 9:30 at night and he turned us away. Luckily we found a room at the Hi-lo motel, but we would have been screwed otherwise. Place on the outside looked a bit sorry anyway. Cheap is what you get I guess, but the whole lying on the website thing was pretty infuriating.

It was okay. No extra anything and landlord lives in first room. What you get: a clean bed, pest free room, electricity, very bad Wi-Fi (just go two houses down to the internet cafe), and a small shower. What you don't get: literally anything else. There is no free breakfast despite what Google thinks

Like a European traveler's hotel: clean & basic, a welcoming innkeeper - all at a great price. I regularly drive between Southern California and the Seattle area. Always get a great night's rest - quiet despite being just off the main road into town. Convenient spot for breakfast nearby. An absolute highlight is just how clean and well maintained the Townhouse Motel is - a great find whether you're a looking for a convenient stop while traveling or there to explore the Mt. Shasta area. Nice size fridge, microwave and coffeemaker, excellent wi-fi, dresser (but no closet) and no phone, tasteful updated basic decor and fixtures all work great - highlighted by spotlessly clean/fresh rooms. Rooms are a bit smaller than some of the chains, but if you're there to get some good rest you found the right place.

Great location to visit MT Shasta and the rooms are affordable. Loved the owners and the rates are reasonable. Would stop here again if in the area.

DO NOT STAY HERE. My fiancé & I stopped in Weed on our drive from Los Angeles, CA to Portland, OR on 12/01/17. We asked for a smoking room, just because it was way too cold to step outside to smoke, as we normally do. The owner/clerk had two smoking rooms out of the 10 to 12 rooms. He refused to give us the downstairs smoking room, claiming it was occupied, it wasn't. He gave us the 2nd floor smoking room except the heater didn't work. He claimed the portable electric heater would heat up the room. It never did. We had arrived in Weed at around 11 PM and by the time we realized the room was never going to heat up, it was past midnight. Lobby was closed and he never answered the night bell. I was only hoping for an extra blanket. I mean, we could see our breaths in the room it was so cold. We froze that night. In the morning, he didn't open the office till after 10 AM. There was NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. he didn't even make coffee in the lobby. When I told him that I had observed he only had 3 rooms rented last night and didn't have to put us in a room with no heat, he showed not one ounce of sympathy. He simply said that he rents this room out all the time with the portable heater no problem. We didn't even want our money back, just a key to a different room so that at least we could take showers in a room with a heater. He denied us that request. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The room interiors are nicer than the exterior let on. Quaint n cozy with lots of hot water. A great stop if you're fishing Lake Siskiyou, running Oregon boof packs south, or just out catching the natural beauty

This was a fairly clean little place with great customer service. A little expensive for what you get (no frills, small room, you can hear other guests and road noise) -but it is located right off the I-5 freeway which makes it a convenient stop after a long day of driving.
