Last minute check in at 11 p.m. was a life saver. We opted for the "family owned" as we like to support the small guys as opposed to the corporate name across the street. Sheets were clean... and that was it.The rest of the room left me feeling quite gross and wondering what was lurking I couldn't see. Urine down the front/back and side of the toilet, counter had what appeared to be pubes all over, floor was definitely not swept nor vacuumed, massive cobwebs etc. The "continental" style breakfast isn't something I recommend, the eggs were sat out before check in and still there 7 hours later with no refrigeration.

We stopped overnight on a long drive north. Cute inn for very decent price. Service is ok. Cleaning left much to be desired. I found a dirty q-tip, some fuzzy trash left on the carpet, stains on the pillowcase, and some packaging garbage from shampoo or something, in the shower. Also the shampoo they provided was dirty outside of the bottle. Seems like a small family owned business, so may be understaffed. The hallway smelled weird and the walls are very thin; could hear the loud neighbours clearly. Convenient location close (walking distance) from Starbucks, McDonald’s, Taco Bell. Overall, I would say it is “okay”, but I wouldn’t recommend staying for too long.

Filthy. The headboard had a visibly thick layer of gack from other people's hair and skin oils. I scrubbed it off, and it left dark brown stains on the washcloth. When i confronted the owner with this, she had the audacity to complain that i had ruined the washcloth, and she invited me never to come back. At least that, we can agree on! 😬

I will qualify my review:I am a local born-and-bred "local" of Weed, CA. For years, my classmates would come to town for high school reunions and book rooms at The Sis-Q-Inn. While I lived in San Diego, CA in later years, I had occasion to move back "home" to Weed, and in making the transition back had occasion to book a room at this motel. My wife and I were dismayed at how run down the condition of EVERYTHING was! It seemed as if no money had been invested in the property for YEARS for it to descend to this state of disrepair. So Sad.

We stopped here overnight before heading North on Hwy 97 because severe weather was forcast. The rate we paid was ridiculous for the quality of the room, ($140/night).The room stunk of stale cigarette smoke, the smoke detector was hanging by the wiring in the ceiling and the room itself was outdated and dinghy. So bad so that I hated to have our dog lay on the carpet. We brought a blanket in from the car for her to lay on.The front desk lady was pleasant. The breakfast was sufficient but not elaborate. The next morning there was 6" of snow on the ground with I-5 and 97 closed in all directions. We were told that if we checked out we probably could not get a room later. I told my wife I'd rather sleep in the car if it came down to that than spend another night in the Sis-Q.Bottom line, if we had paid 1/2 the amount I'd say it was an ok deal, (if you don't mind sleeping fully clothed and washing your pet after you leave is convenient)As it turned out, we stayed at the Motel 6 on our return trip home for under $100. They have no breakfast but the room was clean, well maintained and comfortable.

I normally don’t leave reviews unless I really think people should avoid a place of business, and this is one of those times. I walked in to book two nights here and the woman working the front desk was so unbelievably rude, I had to leave and go somewhere else. She wouldn’t even let me talk or get a word in, and she just looked at me disgusted (I’m covered in tattoos and was wearing shorts and a tank top). I don’t know, the vibe was so negative and just unwelcoming, I’d say take your money elsewhere because reading the reviews looks like the rooms are dirty too. The place I ended up booking after I left had extremely welcoming and kind energy, so there’s better in the area.

My wife accidentally booked a room here for me, but I was a town away hiking. She immediately called and tried to cancel the reservation. First, they lied and said they didn't charge my card. After my card was charged I called back and again tried to get a refund as I didn't stay there. They said they could only refund half because priceline keeps half. So I called priceline and confirmed this is a complete lie again! These people are thieves. Please don't support a business like this.

Stayed here a couple times now. And yes it’s not perfect but I’m giving 5 stars because it’s cozy and has that little charm of feeling like ur going to stay at your nanas house for the night. It’s not perfect but for 80 bucks a night with a mini fridge and microwave and it’s a fairly large room I will stay here again! If u want luxury then yes u can pay the extra 145 to stay across the street but I slept like a baby and the staff are very friendly and the lady up front is super sweet.

Honest Review, and I'll explain why Im giving 5 stars. Please disregard the negative comments by the entitled prissy jerks you see. They can never be fully satisfied. In this world you get what you pay for, If you want high class and perfection, then go find a 5 star hotel and pay $300+ Let me be clear, this is a budget hotel and its the cheapest you'll find around. You'll save $50 a night over the nicer one across the street. If you like saving money and and you dont need things to be perfect, then this is a great place. You'll find older paint, older fixtures, but so what. It has what you need, the lady was nice, and you'll be supporting small business. Id be happy to stay here again.

FILTHY! Dirtiest place I've ever stayed! We travel a lot and we are not new to staying at tiny little refurbished motels. We got stuck in a snow storm and got the last room here. $145 for absolutely disgusting "non smoking" room. Smelled of stale cigarettes, there was hair all over both of our beds. The bathroom had caked up dirt in ever corner. The sheets looked like they had not been washed at all. We slept in our clothes and used our own blankets and clothing to wrap up in. I had to clean the toilet before we used it, there was toilet paper residue on the seat. Cleary had not been cleaned between guests, built up grime in every corner. SO MUCH HAIR in the beds! I'm in shock that so many people are rating this place so high, they must know the owners.Rooms: FILTHY! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!Walkability: Close to restaurants.

The owner is really nice. The hotel could use some updating and I think they are working on that because our shower seemed to be updated. The room was clean. It did look like the floor in our bathroom was dirty so I went to the front desk and let her know. She offered to come clean it. On the way up to the room she showed me her beautiful Jasmine flowers. We get up to the room and she went to clean the floor and it turns out it was just stained. She cleaned it anyway to show me but she was really sweet about it.I would stay here again. It was kind of tucked back and in a quiet area. There were a lot of Semi Trucks lining the road in front of it and my husband says that’s a good sign that it’s a pretty safe area.

It is a basic economy hotel. I would have rated it 2.5 but you can only rate 2 or 3 star. I chose 2 rather than 3 to help balance the 3.6 Google carried. (Not)The management were nice, rooms were clean but very basic. 2 pillows on a queen bed, there was no bar soap only a soap dispenser for a liquid soap in the shower. The rooms were dated. New mattress but very hard. Mattress had a rubberized pad so it was hot to sleep on. Parking was good.Traveling on a budget it gets the job done but it was not a 3.6 hotel.

The Sis Q Inn was exactly what we needed for a quick stop over. Clean, kind, and efficient. I dropped in at 2am and there was someone to greet me and check us in. If semi engine noise bothers you, ask for a room at the back (not street side) of the building. Perfectly quiet. I didn't experience the breakfast, so no comment there. Spa/jacuzzi room was out of service, but I didn't care since we were just stopping over for the night. Hard mattresses, but really snuggly/comfy linens and blankets. Slept just fine. I would stay here again.

It's a mom and pop hotel. In a Trucker community.Clean bed, clean showers. I would stay again.Don't go there thinking your at the Ritz, if you can't handle a mom and pop hotel, it's not for you.But remember who your supporting.

This is a BUDGET hotel, yet the staff were friendly, the room was large, comfortable and clean, the heat and air conditioning worked, the shower was hot with abundant flow. There was a microwave and mini refrigerator in the room. The door closed and locked securely. The ice machine worked and there was even a soda machine with $1 for a soda. The wifi was pretty modest, but good enough to watch videos. At the price, I was completely satisfied.

I throughly enjoyed my stay! The fridge and microwave were very useful, there was a personal AC system and the shower was really nice! Comfortable clean beds and bathrooms. Quirky/cute place to stay for a great price :)

Big, clean room; good bed; great shower! There are cheaper spots but it's nice to feel that the property is taken care of. I missed the little breakfast thing but that's because of the pandemic.

Room had much better weekend rates than what everyone else was trying to gouge us for. It had everything we needed for a night's stay. Queen bed, tv, mini fridge, and microwave. Room seemed clean and organized. We would stay there again.

High price. 140 a night is ridiculous. The place looks ghetto on the outside. They didn't program they keys right, the room was hotter than hell when we got into it, the "spa" was out of order, there was no wifi provided. The staff have no clue what they are doing and can't seem to understand what you are telling them. We ended up getting charged twice. Loud noises outside at 10pm from them towing customers cars. Comfort inn across the street was $50 a night cheaper. Stay away!

They get 3 stars for their awesome continental breakfast- hard boiled eggs, bagels and cream cheese, danishes and coffee! Pool was out of service when we were there, and you can hear all your neighbors. Also, they have no port-a-cribs. Room itself was nice, bed was good. New rugs.

Location was good if you plan to visit nearby attraction. Price was right. But the building was depressing, definitely needs new paint, especially when there is a comfort inn newly painted right across the street. Room was large and clean but bedding was cheap. Quiet at night although by 5 freeway-double pane window was nice. Breakfast was ok if you don’t need much meat. Bad exterior, no coffee maker in room, no ironing board in the entire place are the three reasons we won’t come back.

Such a cute hotel at an affordable price! Me and my family got a suite, two rooms and two beds for $100! I love the atmosphere and aroma that the flowers in the pots outside bring to the place, not to mention that the feel-at-home interior and the classy chairs and bed duvet covers! I really recommend coming here!

Eh. Clean is a subjective term. Rented the family room. WAY overpriced given the property. Shoulda been $50 a night, not $150. We were exhausted and everything was rented out for the night. It was rundown, had food smears on the walls, and the second room containing the third queen reeked of smoke. The bathroom was oddly nice, but that was the only positive.

When traveling in certain areas, you have to expect noise from other travelers. And even being on the side of the Hwy, it was still quiet. Clean room very nice Lady up front, I would be happy to stay here again. And yes very affordable
