We wanted a cheap but decent place to stay for a few days while we skied shasta. This is not the place. There wasn't any AC, which we were not told when we made the reservation. The room was about 90 degrees. When I called to talk to the manager he was extremely rude and impolite and hung up on me mid conversation. I am astounded by the lack of service, and professionalism. For a 300$ stay in a swampy hotel room this is not worth the stay. He said he would refund me 40$, which is basically nothing for how terrible the place was, and we still have not seen the refund show up in the bank, so who knows. On day two our card to get into the room stopped working, and another man in the waiting room was trying to get a refund as well. The manager told my partner to "just leave, gods telling you to leave."We ended up leaving early because we were unable to sleep there, although no refund was given. There was also no screen on the window, so sleeping with the window open was extra sketchy. There was no working pool.If you want a nice but cheap place to stay but don't need something extravagant this is not the place. If you want to smoke crack in the parking lot, this is the place to stay.

We got stuck in Weed CA, due to some car troubles. The Motel 6 was close to the shop we had the car at, and was a good price.While the hotel was a bit dated, and any repairs that had been done within the hotel where definitely done by the owner, it was still fairly comfortable, had good locks on the doors, and kept us warm/dry, and the rooms where clean.The front desk service person was excellent, did everything to make sure we were okay after being stuck, and the internet was more then decent enough to placate the kids in the given situation.All in all, a pretty decent stay.

My friend is a quadriplegic so when making the reservation I said we needed 2 beds and had to have a roll in shower which they did. The room we clean and bathroom is what we needed but it only had one bed for $127? That's the most I've ever paid at a motel 6 and only one double bed. She requires that just for her needs so I had to sleep on the floor. They were nice enough to give me a couple blankets and pillows but at 66, sleeping on the floor doesn't work. They should have mentioned that it only had one bed or we would have gone somewhere else.

Once we arrived we were put in a smokers room by mistake and we let the front desk know and they were wonderful to change us to a non smoking room. On the day we checked out I had realized I had left my phone in the room and kept calling it with my husbands phone to see if someone would answer and sure enough a few minutes later they called back letting me know they found my phone and it’s in the front desk. Very kind and helpful 🙏🏼 But the rooms were super clean. It seemed like they didn’t sweep the floors. The AC worked for about an hour but then the rest of the stay the room was very very warm with the AC on.

Motel 6 Weed is an average place to stay for a night or two. The rooms were okay, but nothing special. The beds were decent, but the bathrooms were small and outdated. The price were higher compared to the service you get. The staff was polite, and attentive. The location was easy to find. This is a fine place to stay if you are looking for a basic accommodation.

Was hesitant due to some of the bad reviews in the past, but the more recent reviews were good so I decided to give it a chance. Overall, I was not disappointed. Front desk was helpful, room was clean, area was quiet and not sketchy. Great deal and my pups stayed for free. Hoping for the same great service when I drive through the area next year.

Bedbugs, huge bed bug bites within an hour of ch checking in, manager promised to give me $200 off and a free day, but when I checked out he lied and said he never said that and would only give me the horrible free day. The rooms were filthy, under the beds and when I moved the desk to look for a small crystal I bought from Mt Shasta, there were dead flies, and a gross amount of dirt. The rooms should be $35 a nite. Plugins don't work. Manager lied about washer and dryer not working but staff used them to "clean" sheets. Yelled at me because I put laundry in as they were obviously working and the "out of order sign" wasn't on it. Had to try to dry my soaking wet clothes in my room, and they never dried. Manager used foul language freely, bragged about being a former federal officer, wouldn't stop talking about himself, couldn't get away from him. Horrible.Noteworthy details: Nasty rooms, beds are box springs with thin quilting over them and feels you're trying to sleep on a bag of bones. No laundry, lots of rough looking characters wearing vulgar shirts, smoking, drinking. Saw manager on his Lectric bike toting a six pack of beer. Not pleasant for 77 year old single woman.

The location of this hotel is good. The rooms are so so. I wasn't expecting a lot so I was not disappointed. The rooms are not super clean, the AC doesn't work properly. I didn't expect to get room microwave or fridge but there was a microwave and fridge. Though the fridge works barely. There was a pool but it was closed. The person at reception was very helpful.

I love this spot! Any bad reviewer must be a..well inclined to probably make nice employees and places like this feel bed, this place is cute, very lovely courtyard, nice people and safe. I'm here with my children in the winter looking for property in the area and couldn't be happier! My room is clean and warm, my TV is great, my kids are safe and happy, staff and owners are great. Good choice.Rooms: My room is perfect. My children are safe and it's clean, lovely view and great parking lot I've used to learn to 4x4 in the snow.Safety: This place is safe. Security cams, one exit, front office facing another so you can watch you're car & room. Staff is smart and k ows who is coming and going.Walkability: Walkable to the grocery store first then town, maybe 10 minutes easy walk down one road.

When I went it was quite a warm day, there was no AC. People were opening their windows, there were no screens on the majority of the windows and bugs would fly in. There was not even a fan in the room. So it was a very hot and uncomfortable night sleep.The beds were really hard, there was very little bedding and the pillows felt like air your head sunk straight to the bottom.I did like that they allowed pets. It made it easier when traveling with my animals. I did appreciate how much of a yard there was to walk them around and the availability of pet poop bags.There was only coffee in the morning nothing else was provided unless you paid from a vending machine.Overall the place is quite run down and needs a lot of improvements. It kept us safe for the night but not going to return.

We stayed here on way home from LA. Pretty decent room and good views. The Manager I believe name is Carlos absolutely made our day. It snowed over night and he let us use his brush to get snow off. Also shoveled behind our car so we could get out easier.He was making jokes and so happy. Was perfect start to our drive home. Thank you.

For a motel 6 it's not so bad. The rooms are dirty so I would suggest to get a new cleaning company. There was no mini fridge in my room..... The AC works but wish it went colder. Bed was comfortable but would have liked more pillows and there was hair ( hopefully it's dog) all over my bedding! Guy at the front desk was awesome and the overall area is clean and safe

We were stranded here for a couple nights during the snow storm. Carlos the general manager has excellent customer service, he is friendly, polite and knows how to lighten the mood! Not to mention he is an extremely hard worker. This motel 6 is lucky to have him! Good location right off I5.

Tom Bodett would not have been proud! Filthy! Hair in shower and sink! Dead fly and live spider and cockroach on floor! Sticky stuff on dresser, dirty towels left in room. At 10 pm when arrived we're told room needs cleaned. 45 min later room was disgusting with only sheets changed. New management a must for this place. Shower water was warm and cooler worked. Bed not comfortable. I've seen nicer campgrounds. Price way too high ! Not even close to motel 6 standards. Surprised health department doesn't close it down. New management a must!

Carlos and Sky where great. They were friendly and welcoming and more than willing to help with road conditions with the mountain passes. The location is perfect for traveling the cost and right off the main highway. The r.v. and semi parking was great and had no issues getting in the lots. The rooms are perfect for what we needed. Will definitely be stopping here again!

Rooms are very tore up. Beds are old and stained. Bathroom sink in our room is broken and leaks onto the floor. Electrical sockets are all black and worn out. Seems sketchy. staff is great here doing the best they can to keep up with the terrible shape of hotel. We rented a couple different rooms and both were very wore down and rough shape. Beds are nasty with stains and broken down. Paint is terrible and bedding has holes and burns and box springs have rips and tears underneath. Likey from druggies and pets. Again staff is great but the owner should be looked at for major repairs as health officials would likely shut it down.

Got stuck here during the i5 closure, on my way from Seattle to Sacramento for a wedding. Charming place to be stranded. Just a short walk from restaurants and a nice shopping mart.The power was flashing, debit machine not working, employee callouts, cars getting stuck in the parking lot nonstop, the world was against Weed’s Motel6 that day. But the manager, Carlos, has got a good head on his shoulders and kept people smiling and calm through the turmoil. And satisfied customers we all were none the less. The whole lobby had nothing but positive things to say about Carlos through it all. We truly needed, and appreciated the kindness, thank you Carlos!And Sky, made it that much easier. Made the worst of it, not so bad! A trip to remember :)
