I’ve had nothing but positive interactions with this group. Their front desk personnel are great and very personable. I feel the Dr is knowledgeable and very competent. She is quiet but is forthcoming when asked questions. I feel this is a financially responsible office. I also like the fact that I can get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time.If any time I feel differently about this clinic I will say that also.

Support staff was wonderful. Dr. was rude. She disapproved of my choices but instead of having a discussion about alternatives that were in the best interest of my pet she huffed disapprovingly. Then when I misstated the date of a vaccination she belittled me for giving a shot too early. She practically slammed the door when I left.

I sent my dog in to the office for a simple routine nail clipping and the tech that was trimming the nails insisted that the transport guy who drove my dog to the office for me come into the back and assist the tech with the procedure. For 1 my transport guy is not a Vet Assistant and does not know anything about animal restraint and control and secondly he barely knows my dog and thirdly the Vet Tech is supposed to be trained to perform the procedure that is being attempted and have the assistance of other office staff members who are trained to help out. As a result of the ridiculous and improper care my dog suffered a leg and paw injury in which not only did they not cut the dogs nails they still charged for the procedure and didn't offer the treat the new injuries that my dog suffered. They could have at least offered to the cost for me to take my dog to another vet to be treated for the injuries that they caused instead of sending my poor dog home in pain.

I highly recommend this veterinarian for your pet. I was bringing my baby here for 2 years until she recently passed away due to old age. She lived a full life and was well cared for. The staff of amazing & unbelievably patient for how busy they are. I am so grateful to have them here in town. I now have a puppy & I wouldn’t take her anywhere besides here! I trust this place! I also want to say that I appreciate the card they sent after my baby passed away, it really made me feel good that they did that. Thank you!!! 🙏

I was traveling from Colorado and my dog, Bang Bang, cut herself on barbed wire. Dr. Roberts very kindly agreed to squeeze me in to an already fully booked day, even though I wasn’t a regular client, and get her stitched up. I can’t describe how thankful I was for the kindness of Dr. Roberts and her lovely staff. Her standard of care was above average and Bang Bang healed up beautifully. You guys are awesome! PSA Please be kind to your Vet, they are overwhelmed, understaffed, and they really do care about your pet!

Fast neutering appointment for one of my cats when another vet was canceling services without notification. Also, compassionate follow-up. Have you ever seen instructions on an Rx begin with "Please ..." I'll also be taking my other cats to Dr. Roberts. Kudos to her compassionate staff, too!

We called about our sick cat and made an appointment to bring her in. When we arrived at the appointed time we ended up waiting an hour. After bloodwork the vet gave us a diagnosis (severe anemia, dehydration and blockage between the liver and gall bladder) and said we needed to take her to a place in Medford that provided services she couldn't, and that we needed a referral. We received a call late in the day that the referral was ready so I went in to get it. It wasn't ready and the receptionist didn't know when it would be. I made arrangements to pick it up the next morning, assured by the receptionist that it would be ready. That evening we received a call telling us that the vet would fax the referral to the place in Medford. The next morning we took the cat to Medford. The referral had not been sent and it ended up costing us an extra$175. The diagnosis of the vet in Medford (either a viral infection of bone marrow or bone marrow cancer) differed significantly from Alpine's.This is not the first time that Alpine has called and said one of our pets was ready to be picked up and it wasn't, forcing us to either wait an amount of time they couldn't determine, or drive home and come back later in hopes that the pet would be ready.

Took my puppy Bandit today to dr. Grace for his puppy checkup and shots, what a joy to behold from the minute I walked into the door until I walked out the door dr. Grace spent at least a half an hour to 45 minutes with me and Bandit explaining everything in detail I never felt rushed and I never felt like she was watching her watch cuz I knew she had people in the waiting room, her little vet tech was amazing, I read some bad reviews about Alpine vet clinic but for the life of me I don't know where they came from, I'm a retired nurse if that means anything well I asked probably more questions than the average person would and dr. Grace never faltered what a delight and how wonderful it is to have her in our neighborhood she is so down-to-earth, makes you feel instantly comfortable having her care for your pup

I would rate this a big fat ZERO but it won’t accept that so I’m giving it one star.Vet’s current front desk lady, Francine, is rude and I eventually hung up on her! She’s in such a rush to get me off the phone that she talks over me as I’m talking. They gave me an estimate to have a tooth pulled on my dog but didn’t want to discuss the estimate with me. There was stuff on the estimate for services I didn’t request. Front desk lady, Francine, told me that the price is what it is and I can pay it or go elsewhere!! Who does that? Obviously, Grace Roberts doesn’t care about her clients and the place is a dirty mess. I imagine my dog isn’t treated any better behind their closed doors. Very unfortunate that we have such terrible vets available to Siskiyou County residents:(. So I guess I’m going elsewhere!

My cat was very sick this morning. I called and they asked me to come in ASAP. The ladies here were kind, caring, understanding, calm, and knowledgeable. The doctor was clear in explaining treatments. Ultimately, I ended up having to euthanize, and even then, the ladies gave me time, space and kind words. I would happily come here again.

My dog got a gash on her leg last week. Dr. Robert saw her as an emergency that day and gave her four stitches. Today, just a week later, she fell and tore the stitches out. Dr. Robert saw her again as an emergency and re-stitched her. I am so grateful for their great service.

I take both my Australian Shepherd puppy and my 11 year old Border Collie to Dr. Grace Roberts and every time we go have a wonderful experience. All of the staff are wonderful and Dr. Roberts is an amazing vet. She really knows what she is talking about and she is very nice to me and my dogs. I could not recommend her enough!

**FLEAS**If i could give this place 0 stars i would. i brought my six month old kitten in for a neuter because everywhere else was booked up. to start, my boyfriend dropped him off and the vet told him they’d give me a call once he was out of his surgery to let me know he was okay. they never called me. i had to call them the next day. they told me he’d be ready for pickup within 45 minutes of that call, and they called back almost two hours later. upon picking him up i was informed that they had shaved my MALE kitten as if it were a spay, but it was a neuter. and to top it all off. they returned my kitten to me with FLEAS. I think you should be able to trust you can take your animal to a veterinarian hospital without them being returned to you with a new issue. 0/10. don’t trust them with your animal unless you have no other options and it’s emergent.I will say his incision is fine, and healing well. but every other aspect of this experience has been awful.

Francine is not mean! She was great as well as the Dr and Christina! I was just not comfortable about the fact that my boy would have been left alone for 12 hrs overnight with what the Dr thought was a dire strong case of pancreatitis🤔 ....

We are new to the area and just took our cat for a checkup and annual shots at Alpine Vet Clinic. We are so happy with the friendly staff and our new vet Dr Grace Roberts. She is knowledgeable and very kind!

When I called... I was at my wits end with our 6month old cat...(He was spraying EVERYWHERE in the house) Joseph answered...He was delightful!!! The first available appointment however was approx 6 weeks away... I assumed I'd be in a looney bin by then... As if "on cue"... Joseph let me know they had a cancelation on Thursday....(SURELY... I could manage 2 days...🤔) I accepted the appointment....and declared him my HERO....lolWe dropped "Chaos" off Thursday am...and I went home to bleach my house for the final time...The next day... I went in and collected my now neutered cat...and I can't remember the gals name... but she was WONDERFUL...I didn't have the opportunity to meet Grace...but I'm certain she's fabulous as well... The cost was less than half of what the clinic 8 miles away was going to charge...So it was a "win" all the way around. THANK YOU ALPINE VETERINARY HOSPITAL & STAFF... YOURE THE "BEES KNEES"🤭

My dog consumed something she wasn't supposed to and began having a terrible reaction. I called them as we were in the car and they fit her in within 20 minutes! They were so helpful and kind throughout the whole process and did everything they could to help her get better. She was looking back to her old self and feeling much better when we got her back at the end of the day. Thank you Alpine Veterinary Hospital!

My new vet from now on! We just adopted two kitty's, 3 months old and tried to get an appointment with our local vet. I have gone to for over 20 years, no appointments until February! Well I'm sorry my kitty's can't wait that long for shots or ear mite treatments. Alpine vet got me an appointment in 2 days!! Excellent service, animal care and price! I highly recommend this place. All my animals will go here from now on. Plus I didn't have to drop off at 9am and pick up at 6pm for just a checkup. That's too long and stressful for any animal. It only took like 2 hours. Thank you Alpine vet hospital you have a lifetime customer now❤💯😺

Very dissatisfied with service. My dog was having urinary problems. I was told to wait in my car because this should be really quick. 4 hours later they started to lock up their office for lunch. I asked them where is my dog? They said we're unable to get a urine specimen from her so if I would like to pay the bill of almost $400, I could take my dog home and try to get the specimen myself and bring it back in so they can test it. I asked why am I being charged $400 if they didn't do anything for my dog except for keeping her in a cage for 4 hours. They explained they did her vital signs. To make a long story short I had to pay $55 for an office visit because in 4 hours all they did was her Vital signs. I put my dog back in the car and noticed what I thought was a scratch or lump under her fur. Then I found another one. Upon closer inspection my dog now has two ticks on her. The office was very dirty and the veterinarian was very rude. I suggest do not ever take your pet there. 🤬

The staff at Alpine Veterinary Hospital have shown compassion toward my pet family every time I've used their services. They work long hours and have maintained a professional manner whenever I have used their services. I do not hesitate to recommend Alpine Veterinary Hosptal.

Super rude and no compassion. The lady at the front desk hung up on us after calling to check on our yorkie. She was really rude and didn’t seem to care that we were upset about the way she was treating us regarding our dogs health. When we asked to speak to someone else, she hung up on us. She made us think that our dog had died and refused to give us any information. When we went in to the office after being hung up on, the vet said that he was trying to keep her off the phones. I don’t think someone with so little care about a delicate situation should work somewhere like this.

I cannot say enough about the Vet and staff. They are Professional and extremely knowledgeable and caring towards the animals they provide care for.They treat the fur babies as if they were their own. With all the restrictions with covid I'm a very nervous pet parent handing my pets over and not being there to speak and ask questions during the exam. BUT with Alpine I'm not worried one bit I know my pets are in safe caring loving hands and the vet and staff go out of their way to keep you informed of everything that is happening.I feel very fortunate to have have found Alpine Veterinary!!!!

My father and I had to take his dog in for a simple rabies shot, and ended up waiting for almost 7 hours total. They said he had a fever so they did a blood test. The doctor went on a 2 hour lunch break also, with customers waiting on her. We later found out the dog was fine and were charged fo the blood tests. We only came for a common vaccine. I'd give it a 1 star if it wasn't for the older nerse lady that works there and does check ins. She was sweet and very understanding with us. Also i don't like how the doctor treated that nerse. Like total garbage. I really recommend this place unless you have no other option. We got ripped off.

i can't begin to tell you how kind these people are. i had to euthanize my 15 year old dog. they came to my house the same day i called and they were so gentle with her. she went so peacefully which is very unlike some experiences i have had with other vets in the past. a few days ago i received and card with hand written notes from the whole staff expressing their condolences for our loss. i am amazed and overwhelmed by their kindness.

The one thing I wanted was a 3 year rabies shot. This was made clear with my opening statement when I called for an appointment.My dog was given a one year shot.The estimate nearly doubled when an unexpected exam was needed and I accepted a rattlesnake jabbing designed to buy extra time to get him to a vet should he get fanged.I won’t be bringing him to Alpine again.If he had received the three year shot, my attitude would be different and I’d add two stars to my review.

Dr. Robert's is a very good vet we are so lucky to have her in our community. A country vet that will come out to your place is a very rare thing in this world today. She did an emergency for me on my mare and I will be forever in her debt. Thank you Dr. Roberts.

Unprofessional and insensitive in the extreme, and the place is filthy. Our dog is on her death bed with melanoma in her lungs after extensive, complicated treatment at Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialists, including surgery to remove a large melanoma tumor from the back of her throat, and subsequent immunotherapy treatments. Last week, we took her back up to Central Point and some advanced new tumors were found in her lungs, so she is now on palliative care at home, to keep her comfortable and happy. As a part of that, she is taking cbds, as they honestly do help her breathing. So, preparing for the difficult day we know is coming, I went into Alpine seeking a house call for when it is her time. As I started to give the background of her situation, and mentioned the cbds only in passing as part of her palliative care, the vet tech interrupted and berated me about cbds and would not let me speak to finish. He was so abrupt and rude about it that I walked out. When I reported this hurtful experience to Dr. Roberts, she replied that this vet tech was well loved, and never rude to anyone, and basically told me to take a hike. This lack of basic human caring, not to mention professionalism, is shocking. If they are this rude to potential customers, how are they to animals? I am left wondering.
