We came here from Eureak seeking assistance with a surgical procedure that is considered "specialty" elsewhere. Dr Nickerson is a seasoned professional that has years of experience and the confidence and facilities to do the procedure. We have yet to do the surgery, but he made us feel comfortable in his abilities. And he isn't going to charge us an arm and a leg, much more reasonable pricing. I'll update this post procedure.

We had noticed my dog 5 yr old Mochi was obsessively licking his stomach and inside his back legs. To the point it had discolored his skin. We called the vet Dr S. asked to see him Urgent. We brought him in they did a urine check and turned out he had a bacterial infection and he ended up on 10 days of antibiotics twice daily. But thankfully 2 weeks later He's almost back to having pink flesh and white hair. I highly recommend Trinity Animal Hospital

Our dog, Winnie, was severely injured the day before the big storm. She needed to stay overnight for two nights but when it came time to get her, I was unable to travel my road due to snow and down trees. I couldn't even call to see how she was doing (no phone, internet, or power!) When I finally was able to get out four days later, I went to get her and she was well cared for with a serious injury and Dr. Nickerson didn't charge extra for the medical care given to her the two extra days that I couldn't get her. I love the staff there: all very friendly, very knowledgeable, and are very gentle with animals. I love it when Dr. Nickerson calls Winnie, "our girl": he really does care for the animals entrusted to him.

I cannot say enough great things about Trinity Animal Hospital in Weaverville - not only did Dr. Nickerson and his amazing staff take a chance on a dying kitten that nobody was sure would survive, he provided such phenomenal care that give the little sweetheart a new lease on life!! After more then a week of around the clock medical care the little guy had to go back to the hospital and they took him in, no questions asked even though they were closed that day! So Dustin, Danette, Dr. Nickerson and every single employee at that clinic that showed such love & compassion, we can never thank you enough!! They also took great care of my resident Tom Cat who's entire face was abscessed - these guys are the very best at what they do and you will not find a better staff to care for your pets...Trinity Animal Hospital has been such a blessing! Forever indebted...

The Dr's, vet techs, and staff are all amazing. The facility is very clean, spacious/well laid out and modern. Currently I have 2 dogs and a cat, but my family has been going to TAH for 20+ years and they have seen us through loss, emergency surgeries, etc with professional compassion and greeted our new pets with open arms. I feel they really listen to my concerns for my animals and give sound advice, all while being focused on providing the best quality of care. One of my dogs is an especially difficult patient and they are always very understanding and gentle with him.

Dr Nickerson and his crew are the very best. I don't know what I would have done without them when my two kitties were attacked by a fox. One of them was so ravaged I was sure she would need to be put down. After extensive surgeries and procedures, both kitties have recovered. These people are very compassionate. We are so lucky to have two such extraordinary vets in a small town like Weaverville. Their level of customer service is off the charts and trickles down to the rest of the staff. Dr Nickerson has been taking care of my dogs, cats and horses for 30 years. His expertise and intuition is incredible. He once correctly diagnosed a cancer in my dog that a specialist had missed. He makes everyone feel like they are his most important client. Love that I get follow up calls after a surgery to see how my pet is doing. I truly feel that everyone at Trinity Animal hospital cares (almost) as much about my pets as I do.

Thankful that all staff members take the time to make us and our animals feel comfortable. The welcome feeling starts right when we are greeted with treats. I have 3 girls and one (Fish) had a growth on her tongue. I travel and consider myself extremely fortunate to find a caring vet and staff. They did an excellent job all the way. I saw the vet on Friday, no appointment, and the doctor operated on Sunday. Not enough ways to say thank you.
