All I can say is, "Wow." Working at your store must be some kind of status symbol. I had the displeasure of crossing paths with one of your employees harassing an elderly woman at another store. He was cursing and recording the event with a cell phone, while stating that he works for the Ace next door, as if that fact grants him the authority to be a toolbag. He was asked to leave, but refused. He had the audacity to make her shake hands and give permission for him to return. I watched as this old lady teared up and cried after he verbally attacked her and left. I normally wouldn't post this to their place of employment, but his egotistical butt announced it loud enough for me to hear across the store. If this is what you hire, I would rather drive to Redding or order off of Amazon before possibly being dehumanized.

They had garden seeds on clearance, and a good discount on bulk bird seed. Some confusion on where inventory is, whether available in stock and whether items are carried. However, it is easily ordered from store for you to pick up at a later date if you want something. I noticed Ace stored carry a lot of items that contain in the product or packaging the 65 prop warning. I do avoid these labels/items and will continue to do so until there is no choice. I am not convinced that everything sold has cancer in the product like store workers always say to me when I ask able the labels on a product. I think it is important for store merchandise managers to TRY to order merchandise without these chemicals whenever possible. The effort is what counts. I am grateful the store is open an carries things as needed.

Normally they have great service. But recently the girls they hired as a cashier are just young teenagers with attitude. There's a girl (with lip piercings) that is very condescending and rude. Has a "not my problem" type of attitude. That's not really what Plotzke is known for. Hopefully it's just a summer job type of deal because when SHE is working I will just leave and go someplace else. Loud, childish. And simply rude.

A typical small town hardware store atmosphere, with a fairly large, modern and we'll stocked storefront. Has a nursery in the summer months. There is a small amount of rental equipment: wood splitter, auger, trencher etc. The only drawback is most prices are a bit high, however if you need something asap it is very handy.

Busy store but not the best customer service, when you ask for something they just point to where it is. Never ask to help you or actually take you and show it to you. Kind of weird since evertime I go there lots of the staff is just hanging out and chatting amongst them selves.

Quick, friendly service. Picked up a new propane bottle and gas can. Service employee got the bottle out of lock up and put it in the back of my pickup. That really made my day. I was bushed. Thanks ACE.

Well ive been going to ace hardware since i can remember this was a tough experience not only did i recieve wrong part i was overcharged for it when returned they attempted to collect money from me when they owed me money i feel they could have been more or lets just say less frustrates. In the end it all worked out. But cant score higher than i did

This Weaverville Ace is the most well-stocked Ace I have ever seen. Invariably if I go to a larger community (Say Redding or Arcata) it is at the Weaverville Ace that I find my needed item. Good hometown friendly and KNOWLEDGEABLE staff as well. Highly recommended....
