I have been taking my Pomeranian to Julie for years now. She is friendly and kind and does a great job. I was sad to have seen a couple of mean reviews. I feel when giving a review whether you are happy or not with the services rendered? That a proper review can be given without the goal of being hurtful. As I said . I have known Julie for years and I only have good things to say.

My husband was very disappointed in the cut. Took many hours. Was told repeatedly to return in 20 minutes at least 3 different times. Didn't trim nails on one foot at all! Will go back to Petsmart.

Took my 2 rescue dogs one 4 and 6 to her when she first opened. When she saw them she became rude and cold. Took them a second time she groomed them but told me not to come back. I asked her if they were bad or what happened She said no they were fine but not to bring them back. Look on her walls. All pedigrees! She can’t bring her golden fingers to touch any dog that isn’t a pedigree! Hope this is not the same groomer. I apologize if she is not the same groomer 🐶

If I could give this place zero stars, I would.First reason I gave this place one star, is the PRICE. When we dropped off my dog they told us the price would be $65. At the time of pick-up they decided to charge us $200. Their reason being that it took them most of the day, yet we received no notification that the price would be significantly increased, just because it was difficult. That is just a lack of professionalism from our point of view.Next, they were not knowledgeable with regards to my dog which has a double coat of fur which should not be shaved, and I mean NEVER be shaved! They recommended to shave his fur as this was the easy way out.Another reason is that as soon as you walk in you will see a variety of animals who are living in extremely poor conditions. For example, they have two dirty fish tanks, a rabbit that has hardly any space to move in its cage and dirty bird cages.Last, but not least! The young daughter of the groomer was there to greet us at the door, with her pet kitten, that she had trapped underneath a French fry basket. She then proceeded to remove the basket, she grabbed the kitten by the neck and shook it like a rag doll, saying, "look at my new kitten!" The kitten tried to escape from her and the daughter slammed the kitten on the floor and she said "you're in trouble because you have diarrhea." This kitten had its behind full of feces. In my head I just thought to my self, "what have my dogs been exposed to during their visit?"In conclusion, do your pet a favor and take them to another groomer.

We just moved from Oakland and took our 90 pound labradoodle and 12 pound bizpo to Mr. John's. No complaints. BUT, since moving to Aptos I wanted to support a business owned by a woman and to my delight she does a better job than our last groomer. Our bizpo Cookie has never looked better. Friendly, funky but well done and reasonably priced.
