First time I came here. Friendly people. However not sure if it was here or not. But someone got a hold on my card numbers. Be aware of who you stand next to. Someone I think while I had my card out. Memorized my card numbers. Luckily does not know my pin card number. They tried using my card numbers to make a purchase online or something but they don't know my card pin. Be aware of who you stand next to. Never know if that person is staring at your card. Luckily I locked it. All they can do is give my money. They cannot take out money or purchase anything. I have my card just someone tried to use my card numbers to make themselves a purchase. Be aware of who you stand next to. Card thefts everywhere.

Surprisingly nice market. Much nicer than the name and exterior suggested. Had a good selection of groceries and a solid wine and champagne selection as well. A bit pricey and the cashiers could have been friendlier to be honest. But overall a pleasant experience.

It doesn’t have everything, but it has more than enough, especially for a smaller town like Waterford. It is very convenient, clean, and the staff are always friendly. You can usually find most (if not all) your shopping items here. Good store 10/10.

Owners need to do something, man. The store is conveniently placed, but the prices are insane. You can make a profit without screwing over the citizens. There’s no need for it. Be there for the people, don’t try to cash in on them.

This may be the only place to grocery shop in Waterford but you certainly wouldn't know it. Their prices are as competitive as in any Modesto store and there's a good selection. Honestly their purchasing agent should get an award for doing such a good job. Their quality is usually better than what I find in Modesto.

Great place to shop, but some prices are not competitive. Sale prices seem very low while regular prices seem too high. I would gladly shop Pioneer exclusively, but Cost Less has better pricing. The "hefty" security guard doesn't think he needs to wear a mask and masks aren't enforced. I wear a mask for the grandma shopping with her granddaughter because it makes her feel safer. Simply a matter of respect.

Employees are helpful and really polite. The store is clean, arranged nicely and you can find things easily. They have a variety of groceries to choose from with many specialty items. A little on the pricey side but it is a nice grocery store and they have many advertised specials you can get.

They need better products of food. I would recommend not buying your meat there it is like leather. I wish who ever they buy their meat from I would like to suggest them buying it from some other company that feeds their animals much better.. Some of use have to shop there because others stores are at least 30 minutes away and a lot of use have to walk to the store. I wish they would bring in a Cost Less store instead.

I really enjoy pioneer market they carry everything we need in inventory the deli is really great. Love the polite cashiers.The best thing is the prices are low and have never had a bad experience. I also shop at the pioneer market in mariposa it's just as great . They also have a pharmacy that makes it very convenient.

There's some good things but a bit pricey compared to cost less which is 10miles out of town. The meat Dept. is decent but occasionally the same meats will be priced differently so you have to pay attention as well as dated items you have to watch those as well. Fruit is decent better when local produce is in season and sold at the store. I look for their sales which brings prices closer to normal when compared to larger grocers. People are fairly friendly the deli isn't always fresh. It's between 2 and 3 stars so I decided to give it a 3.

Doug working Deli is so nice and he makes a good sandwich well proportioned. Misty is super nice as well its always a pleasure to see her there. Pioneer is always super clean. 5 stars just for the new orange juice machine! Best orange juice! Its nice to go in and everyone is always super friendly. KEEP IT UP PIONEER TEAM!

We love this place. Its our last stop shop before trips to the water. General grocery selection is good and prices are as well. The have a deli area with some quick pick up grub for the picnic. ICE ICE BABY!!! yes this the best place to ice up they have different bag sizes even blocks for some real cold storage. Service is fast and friendly to get you on your way to fun in the sun!

My visit to Pioneer Market was nice. There was a giant reminder for everyone to wear their mask. Friendly staff and they even double bagged my ice so it would not leak all over my car. I love this store. ❤

Such a family based store. The fried rice in the deli is so delicious. And the donuts are fresh in the morning perferct for a quick stop to grab breakfast and something for lunch. They also have great fresh and local produce at low prices and there's a meat sale they have 2 times a year... I never miss it's the best time to stock the freezer for the whole season

I recently moved back to the area & used to shop here when it was called IGA. Wow was I surprised in the differences! Great employees with positive custom service attitudes, the added variety of items including gourmet and quality meat & produce. I enjoyed shopping here not settling for having to substitute my brand of choice for names I've Never heard of. The prices were awesome as well! Local just got better for me, Thank You Pioneer Market!

EXPENSIVE but conveniently near to the Modesto Reservoir & produce is always fresh. They now sell fresh sushi made authentic & also a variety of different made daily meal options. I guess all said you do get your money's worth.

Although the customer service is good and friendly , they have big signs on the door ( no mask no entry) but they do not inforce. They pay security to just watch to see if someone steals a grape. The customers that don't wear a mask heckle at the customers that do. This is the only grocery store unless we drive out of town.So I asked " if I walked in with no shoes or shirt you can't enforce that policy either " ❓ 🤔 With the numbers of deaths on a rise and I have a mother , grandchild, brother and myself at high risk , you would think the owner would care more for his customers.... If I had a better choice I wouldn't shop at Pioneer Market.

Waaaay overpriced and they have no problem selling you items that are beyond their sell by date. They're the only grocery store in town and they know it. So, they charge as much as they want. Should be called Gouge-Mart. You're better off driving 20 minutes to Turlock or Modesto for groceries.
