We love this place. Go here all the time and the rice bowls are our favorites - Shio Koji Pork and Braised pork rice combo. The soup bowls are great too, especially on a cold day. The food is light, healthy, tasty but not overly seasoned. The quantity of food is good.

No salt in soup, but it's suppose to be like that. Add your own sodium! Quality food, very delicious if you like simple rice with simple meats and veggies. Good for solo lunch runs but not for group. Usually $12 to $13 per meal. Meal comes with broth and an egg.

I ordered braised pork knuckle and it was soooo damn good! The pork knuckle was so tender and we'll seasoned. The rice bowl was seasoned with some kind of sauce and garlic. The soup tasted like their signature broth with some fresh mushrooms in it. The portion was huge. Overall, I am really impressed with the quality and quantity of the meal.

Nice place to get some hearty Taiwanese style soup. Menus are in both Chinese and English, but I found the Chinese side to have a better explanation of the different menu items. Place is a bit small with a total of 4 tables and a bar option. I would recommend to come during non peak times but be careful as they close at 2:30pm for an afternoon break.

First time here at this restaurant. There isn’t much seats inside the restaurant. The service is pretty good, and the food is delicious as well. I ordered pork and I like the chicken soup that came with the meal. The environment of the restaurant is nice, probably because it is still fairly new.I can see myself visiting this restaurant again to try out other dishes.

Absolutely delicious Beef Shank Soup and I'm going to try the Pork Broth in a bit. Delicious, hats off to the owner for recommending such a tasty thing.Definitely a must try, Super clean and well seasoned, don't add any spices. It's just perfect.

Every time I come to the area during the week I will get lunch here because it's very tasty and healthy too. Growing up in Asia I feel home when I drink their soup but their tacos are such a fun twist which brings me right back LA. They also are super generous on the sample of their chicken essence which does not taste like the yucky Chinese herbal medicine I hate. Well done. Broth. I'm recommending this place to everyone I know.

Clean, cozy space, however it’s very big in size. This Taiwanese restaurant is simple but uses primer indregients. They make their own house “brewed” chicken broth and it’s served freshly in the store as well as sold in well sealed foil package. I enjoy eating healthy in this place now and again.

Specializes in their concentrated broth, this place is a hidden gem! It is small though, but service is fast and wonderful. I see a lot of to-go orders too. They make the chicken essence which sounds expensive xz because it's like $10 for a coffee cup size of broth. But this is like uber concentrated chicken broth, prob equivalent to a while chicken in that tiny amount.They sell them as gift boxes too, as Chinese people believe that these chicken essence is good for your health. I might just come back and buy some for the holidays!We had the braised pork rice, which comes with a small side soup. The pork was nice and fatty but tender, filled with lots of minced mustards and woodear over rice.... delicious!Definitely seems like a place I'd stumble upon in Taiwan.
