Only one gentleman in the electronics area. Worst system ever. The poor guy has to go to the case with you, there are 10 cases in the electronics area, bring the item to the cashier and pay. 9 people in line. I know this is for lost prevention. Not tackling the thieves on the door makes the rest of your real customers suffer. See picture.

Workers seem overworked and the store is always full of unattended areas. Whoever is the manager is doing a terrible job at hiring and corporate must not be helping. The self service area with around 12 scanners is closed and the scan & go machines on the side are not working. Theres not enough workers to take care of the needs here and it shows. The remainding traditional checkouts are working at 50% and the line is all the way to the clothing area on the other side of the store. Needs to hire workers urgently.

Except for one, all self checkout are out of order. Never find shopping carts inside the store. You have to find one on the parking lot before entering the store. Cashiers very slow taking all the time of the world to get customers through. Always out of stock on diet sodas. Just terrible I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WALMART unless you have no choice

Too crowded most of the time, there is merchandise obstructing the aisles and the employees moving the items around. Need better planing and scheduling when replenishing and accommodating the stuff. Really not a pleasant visit on this particular store.

Walmart is the cheapest when it comes to meat, produce and almost everything under the sun. Cheapest, but beware of shoppers in the parking lot. These darn shoppers are very nonchalant. They will recklessly or probably intentionally hit your car. The photos that I've included were the vehicle (lady driver) who hit mine with her cart. I got out of my car to tell her that she hit my car with her cart. Well, all she can say is sorry. By the way, this happened to me twice.

Like a few others have said this location has employees with terrible communication skills and customer service skills. Avoid this location if you can but if you must get in and get out. Waited for a long time in electronics attempted to have an associate call for assistance they blew off the request stating there was only one associate working there as if I didn’t know. Spanish seems to be the main communication language amongst employees and non Spanish speaking customers alike which seems strange in a US location. I finally got to the front of the line and requested that I needed a game from the cage the associate walks with me and strangely stops to assist another customer waiting at a different cage. I thought nothing of it as the line was busy I assumed she was trying to assist to expedite things. But then she proceeds to walk the customer back and ring the client up before even helping me again I was next in line can’t make this stuff up. Then I grab her attention again and she begins to fault me stating I didn’t tell her anything. Why would a customer be waiting in line be randomly with a different client who just so happens to waiting in another completely different aisle for assistance. Mind you I didn’t show any sign of knowing the man only pure shock at her actions and now frustration from her lack of customer service and common sense. In the end she told me that she could not do an exchange there and to go to the customer service location. The associate never checked the type of return I had whether it be opened or unopened. This was a same day video game purchase at another location that had been opened. If the associate would have done the bare minimum in her job instead of passing the buck I could have been informed of their policy they do not accept opened games. So in the end I walked all the way back to the front of the store to the customer service line … to WAIT yet again only to be told that policy and had to purchase the game outright. A purchase that could have been made in the electronics department from the beginning. This department needs some retraining and a corporate visit all this frustration just trying to buy one game for my toddler.

The people who work there are, for the most part, rude. Same as in the US. Although there are some helpful people. If you're American, be prepared to be ignored and pushed around. I wouldn't be there if the people in Mexico would take care of their dogs. Dog food is cheaper at Walmart than other places, although higher than in the US. The guy in the self checkout lane is awesome. Most of the checkers are nice, although I caught one purposefully charging me 3x for one item, and she got mad but credited the difference. It's just my expat experience. Sorianas is better. Everyone there is nice. Smart and final is nice too.

Today 3/10/2024 at 12:00 PM the security man driving around was patrolling and as he was driving he was on a phone call as I was walking inside the store with my family and the man seem to not be aware of his people around him because of the phone call. I come out of the store after my business there and here he comes again driving around and on the phone, as he passes by I made sure to share what I had in mind "Hey sir... get off your cell phone" (this was an older man) he shouted something but could not understand and kept walking as he kept driving, this man all of a sudden appeared cutting through car spaces to make sure he reach out to me and said "Why do you care?" I told him it was not professional and it didn't for sure look good. He then had a nasty attitude towards me as a client and said he was going to call the cops on me! Dear Walmart please make sure to start watching this security guard of yours and his values!

Great prices. Parking access its easy there is plenty of parking. The staff is super friendly and ready to help. You can find anything from grocerys to garden equipment. They have good quality clothing with great prices. The also have medical scrubs at great prices and styles. Not too crowded and easy access. There is a plaza with in Walmart.

Terrible management.. self pay terminals only had 2 or 3 machines working and others were offline. Yet they only had 2 other lanes open where someone was checking out customers!! I called multiple times and no operator picked up… SHAME ON WALMART!!! This location is an embarrassment to Walmart everywhere.!!!!

I truly dislike this Walmart, unfortunately this store is the closest to me. Today, I stopped to get a few things, (usually use the self check out, today was all closed, with a tape around the registers) as I was ringing out my stuff, the employee standing in the middle section almost jumps into my reusable shopping bag, just to make sure I didn’t steal something.. On the other hand, Mary the employee standing by the registers, was giving me a KILLER look, got pissed off because I had 20 small items, kept staring at me, then had the audacity of making a smart a** comment and says.. “THESE REGISTERS ARE FOR 15 ITEMS OR LESS” since the main self check out was all out of service, I responded.. “Maybe if you guys had the Self Check out open”? The other employee next to her, went back to MARY to instigate saying.. “DID YOU HEAR WHAT SHE SAID”?? Both unhappy employees acting SOOO unprofessional, and RUDE.. Walmart needs to to better when it comes to hiring employees who really want to work on the weekends, not just anyone.. Employees giving you attitude, talking crazy to customers and dirty looks. No wonder it has a pretty bad reputation and it’s always being to Target… Last time I go to this store!

Mixed bag of results. I went to shop for mens bicycles. The store was reasonably clean considering the volume of customers. But there was an unusually high amount of apparent disorder and clutter. The gentleman that helped me with the bike was Juan. He was conscientious and well groomed. But the language barrier between us was formidable. We managed using my high school spanish and his broken english. That said, I didnt appreciate the three employees called to translate for him, also had a lengthy conversation only in Spanish, while their English speaking customer was standing WELL WITHIN EAR RANGE.

Due to excessive thievery many items are locked up, area has become new skid row rampant homelessness and peddling. Used to be a nice store couple years ago. They still have many in stock items and fair prices.

Typical Walmart. Good prices, decent employees, well stocked. However this location is one of those that doesn’t have a full grocery store. No produce. Just enough so you have to go to another store to complete your shopping list.

It is Walmart doing what it should efficiently. You would think it is Christmas with the crowd. They are working as hard and as fast as they can. I wasn't sure I hadn't drifted south of the border. Beautiful people so friendly and kind.

If you see an item in the store and the same item is online, Walmart will match the cheaper price. But you have to bring it to their attention. Good business practice and earns a 5 ⭐

Very BAD customer service. We were waiting 15 minutes for help. We bought a backpack. We need help to open the. Crystal door. Unlock. They told us to push a button. We have to wait. For more than 15 minutes. The lady seems to be in a bad mood.Walmart @Broadway chula vista. 930am.

I'm originally from new York and one thing I can say from personal experience is Walmart whether it's new York or California stays consistent with friendly curious, professional staff members and keeping clean ordering well stocked stores with quality merchandise at reasonable prices for whatever your household or automotive needs are, lawn and garden, Walmart is the place for great savings. I would recommend Walmart to a friend or family member. It's where family structure starts. That's correct, family structure, a word we don't hear alot of anymore. We must use this word alot more as if to wish it into existence. Stop on by your local Walmart store and you will be glad you did.. enjoy and be safe and warm this holiday season. Thank you Walmart......
