I wouldn't even waste your time coming to this location. I have been to two other locations that were fabulous the one in Poway and the one in San Marcos. This one hardly has anything and very small I won't be coming back here again it's I don't know caring only things that maybe they can get on sale because it's just not a good store to go into I went in for two things and they didn't even have it, but the other stores did

I shopped at this location on March 31st 2024 I bought $80.00 worth of groceries upon going home I noticed that three items were expired two hostess products and one can of green beans the hostess items were expired February 2023 and the can of green beans on December 2023. I don't know if it's the worker responsible for this to happen my son almost ate the donuts if it wasn't for the awful smell from the bag. If you shop there please check the dates on the item your picking from the shelves someone needs to be held accountable this is not right to be selling items a year old. STORE MANAGER CONTACT ME YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS RIGHT...

I love going to Smart & Final. I always end up finding something not originally in my shopping list. For the holidays Smart & Final had 9 to 11 lbs 4 bone ribeye roast for 5.99 a lbs. I am dry ageing one with Umai bag and turning into steaks and since it won't be ready for 34 days the wife got one for us to cook for Christmas dinner.

I had been ordering groceries from Instacart for a year before coming in for the very first time ever. I was very impressed.A great shop with a great variety of choices in products per section. The prices are very good without any coupons or membership cards. The produce is fresh. I went in the other day and spoke with 3 associates. All three of them were friendly and helpful.The only thing that is tough is that the aisles are tight and is uncomfortable with a cart and several children, however for a small space, there is a lot of choices and not too crowded in the afternoon, so that's nice. Lots of savings!

Only one cash register open at around 6 pm on a Wed. That line started long & did not even move at all for over 15 min! No one else came to open until 15 min after we'd been waiting with no one moving! Then a mgr came by & barked to the 1 overwhelmed cashier to call for a third person to help! Seriously...Close the flippin store if you cannot operate with enough employees for people to ck out in the dinner hr & first hr after most everyone gets off day shift work in the middle of the week!

We can't even walk into this store it has the most disgusting smell of any grocery store I've ever smelled. I've popped in here 3 times in the last 8 weeks to see if it would change but never does.The smell is coming from the left of entry way produce area.Beware your health may be at risk

I love Fart and Sminal! My roommates and I go there so much that's our nickname for it. It doesn't smell like farts though. It's always very clean, has great discounts, and every employee I've encountered has been super helpful. I do wish it was open later but I'll take what I can get. See you in a few days! P.s. check out the little baked goods section by the fresh produce. They have these First Street brand madeleine/brownie bites that are sooo good.

This Smart & Final has the best priced Friskee's cat food and 805 canned beer, the stench that you smell as soon as you walk in this place is worse than sewage. I agree with Carmen, the Health Department needs to investigate this. My friend who accompanied me had to run out or she would have vomited in the store. Shop at your own risk.

I live close by here and come often. Everyone is always so nice and great here, but recently and new employee started and wow! I have never ever met such a rude employee. I think she might be a manager. She had glasses and short brunette hair. But wow. She made me and my fiancee feel so uncomfortable. She acted as if we were bothering her to check out our food. It was just really bad. She was so rude.

Always very clean and well stocked with great savings in all departments. Best looking and best taste come from the meat and produce section with great deals every week along with the 25% & 50% off of their discount meat section..Definitely one of my favorite stores to shop.

They never have more than 2 registers open which can be pretty annoying when they are busy. Other than that I have never had an issue with anything in the store. It's clean, the employees are helpful, and they stay stocked up on their items.

Has some items that some stores don't carry, even some items are cheaper. We go about every 2 weeks. This store is right off the freeway, fast stop milk and such. Still have many items that other stores are out of stock

If you shop there make sure to look at the what is being advertised. Buy in bulk. If you don't it's not a deal. They never have enough cashiers. Be prepared to wait in line. The store itself is clean and well stocked.

As soon as you walk in there's this bad scent that will empower your nose. I also found out they don't have organic vegetables. I'm not coming back here. The Health dept. of Vista should investigate this!

Overall this place has a variety of foods and you can buy things in big portions. Pretty pricey... but I did feel a little uncomfortable by the cashier Rebecca. My mom was buying a large portion of soup and she started judging her saying she needs to eat more than just soup. First of all why are you judging people and their groceries?! Do your job and scan food, that’s what you get paid to do! I’m extremely annoyed and don’t think I’ll be coming back.

The associates at this particular smart & final promotes a family type environment. I enjoy coming to this smart & final. There are 2 gas stations across the street, a laundry mat next door, a car rental location that is caddy corner, a donut shop and liquor store, florist and a Popeyes take out and all of this is right off the freeway exit.

I was overcharged for apples. The apples were clearly marked $0.98 per pound but the cashier charged me $1.93 and made it sound like it was my fault. I didn't stick around to have the error corrected because there were other people inline waiting to be overcharged.

Most items had no selection. Red bell peppers were 2.48$ each. Vons sells them 1.98$ each every day, even when costco doesnt have them.Went in looking for individual tabs of butter, bulk or single amount. No luck. I thought you were the go to store for bulk diner, coach, private store owners. A lot of time spent, walked out without a purchase.
