This place has a great selection of high end dog foods as well as lower priced ones too. We find many items here that we previously had to drive all the way to dexters deli in Carlsbad for. Happy to have this place in Vista and close to a grocery store too.

Always wonderful, friendly service. I always find what I need and more! I love how I am greeting right as I walk in, I masked for assistance and am walked to my car with my heavy items. I visit both the Escondido and Vista stores and it’s always a great experience.I am most impressed with how great the stores look every time I visit. Kathy and Pam are always so helpful and very attentive.Thank you for the great customer service experience. Plus my fur babies love visiting too! I always look forward to my next visit.

I only go here because the dog food I feed my dog is not sold at petco . The staff here is always all over the place always seems to be new employees not knowing how to ring up or questions. One young girl shamed me for feeding my cats kibble she said wet food should be fed to cats. Yea well I own 4 indoor cats and can not afford to feed them all strictly wet food I did not even ask her about that anyways. There was this young lady working there that was super friendly and helpful she's no longer there as of December I think. Anyways going to see if I can order my dogs food online to just avoid all the chaos

This place has a fantastic variety of selection for many different pets, not just dogs and cats but also fishes, reptiles, birds, rodents, etc. They have the high end brands and also very useful gadgets and products all around. It is a great place to shop for your pets and I definitely recommend!It is a bummer they don't sell pets there, would've made it a perfect place!

I really like this pet store. Our cat has allergies. She can only eat rabbit. This store has a lot of different types of food for her limited diet.they even have different varieties of food from name brands that you would not be able to find at a large chain pet store. I definitely recommend this place if you want anything higher end or specialty.

They're very nice people. There have been a few hiccups with orders, but they always seem to turn it around and make things right (its usually not their fault, though), which I really appreciate. I have a disorder that makes me very tired 24/7, so my time out is valuable & I very much notice when people are respectful of it.Its a stressful endeavor just doing simple errands. Whenever I get something heavy, they always help me carry it out if I ask, or am seen struggling. Believe it or not, it's not the default at other places. I'm overall very pleased.

Just got a new puppy and came here. A girl named Lilly helped help me out. She was very knowledgeable about everything I had questions about from what kibble to get, types of starter treats, chew toys, shampoos, clippers, etc. Not to mention she was super cute too haha Very blown away. Beatriz was also very helpful, they didnt have the food i was looking for so she special ordered some for me. My baby boy and I will definitely be back!

It's always refreshing to walk into a pet store and see that it is organized and clean. When my family walked in we were greeted by smiling faces and a warm welcome. As we were walking around am employee saw me looking around and asked if I needed any help. I knew what I was looking for, but its always great to see the employees go above and beyond to provide A+ customer service. This was my first time here and I was pleased to find the dog food I was looking for. At the checkout counter the employee asked if I wanted to sign up for the rewards program amd I did. Great local place to visit.

Very helpful staff and quick checkout. I got items for my rabbits, parrots, cat...all in one store and they even got me crickets from the back. I try not to come in right before close but had no choice and they were positive and helpful even though I rushed in 10 minutes to close.

Terrible management. We bought 2 cases of cat food to bring the total to 12 to get a free case. The clerk could not be trusted to count to 12 so we had to wait for the "manager" to count it again. Then I tried to use a coupon for $1 off (would have saved me about 2%) but it turns out it had expired 4 days prior. She acknowledged it was the most recent coupon, but because of the holidays the new mailing was delayed. My guess is they won't be around long.

The selection of goods here is nice. The prices are reasonable as well. They even have stuff that you can't find in other stores.Sometimes you can find deals here like, BOGO free, or a certain amount off.The staff is friendly and will help you out as well if you need assistance with anything.

They had the product I wanted but the customer service wasn’t great. I pulled out my money but realized I didn’t have enough so I said I’d pay for the rest on my card. Instead the kid charged the whole thing on my card. When I realized what had happened I explained to him that I only wanted the rest after cash paid off on my card. This kid was like “oh well you didn’t tell me that.” I work in customer service and blaming customers for your own mistakes is a no no. He didn’t even offer to redo the transaction, not very impressed :(

I called ahead to see if they had feeding mice available and the female on the phone was very kind and helpful, by the time I had arrived they already had them packed and ready for me. This place is amazing for all your pets' needs and would definitely recommend

They had great customer service although I was the only customer in the entire store, so it isnt hard to keep the attention of 2 employees for the duration of my shopping visit. And then everyone can't help themselves from loving on my French Bulldog! The frozen mice are a bit pricey and not individually packaged. I prefer the Artic Mice cuz each mouse is individually packaged as well as easy perforated easy rip apart string of bags. For those, like my son, who are squeamish about rodents as well as reptiles it wasnt a good experience having to get another bag to take the frozen mouse out of the group that were in the one bag we had purchased to thaw for feeding time....not to mention it is wasteful

They have pretty much everything you need for pet supplies. It's usually not too busy so it's quick in and out. They have live lizard food which is a bonus for me.

So, we usually shop at Petco...and our local locations are not great at fully stocking their Wellness products (with limited selection).We took our Butters(corgi) to an event where a lady told us about a grand opening event for Pets Plus Vista. Since this was 5 min. away and next to Frazier Farms anyways... we thought "hey why not!"Ever since then, we've been sold. They have an AISLE of Wellness products, and when we found out they had small dogfood cans, we were floored!It doesn't look like they sell too much of the 24 can package, so we didnt see it again in store. I mentioned it to the employee behind the register and BOOM she pulls out a request form and says she will try and get it reordered,call me when it comes in, and will put one aside for me.This my friends, is true customer service...a lost skill in most customer facing positions now days.I wish I got her name...but everyone we've come in contact with has been wonderful. This and the always stocked shelves of MANY brands and food types, will be what keeps us coming back. I wish they came sooner!Thank you PetsPlus!!! This is a great place for our dog food especially because my dog has a weird stomach and he hasn't had any bad food problems with their food. It's also a great place to get doggie treats.
