So my Commet GoldFish got an ammonia infection/poison, and I came to Petco looking for something to treat my poor fish because he was so stressed up from the burden gills. I was suggested to use this product and tried it for 5 days since it started, and since the 4th day, I've started to notice wonderful results on the quality of the water and my fish's gills fully recovered from the itchy redness. I am very satisfied with my purchase and thankful for Petco assistance and all they do for all the living creatures that we care and love.

Awful experience, Chloe was rude and condescending and complained multiple times about her job and my dogs making her life harder.The shop is dirty and disgusting. My dogs we left alone for more then 10 mins while I was waiting to pick them up Chloe was no where to be found. 0/10 don’t recommend leaving your dogs here

I did not get the checkout clerk’s name, but she was by far the best representative for any department, food or chain store businesses I’ve been to. Our world needs more people like her - with her positive spirit and energy. She was/is definitely a good hire for your company.

I mainly go for fish tanks. Look it up before you buy, Petco has a 50% off all their brand tanks a few times a year, so you can get a great deal. And do your research, the smaller the tank, the easier for your water parameters to go wonky. Please don't do less than 5 gallons for any fish. You can create a really cool 3 gallon cube with plants, shrimp and a couple snails, but no fish in that small of a tank. They do also have pretty cheap dog and cat toys for holiday treats for your favorite four legged family members!

Great Store, Aquariums are very clean and usually have a good selection of tropical fish and tropical and marine supplies. They also have a great small animal section, birds and reptiles sections.

Looking for cat litter pellets none on the shelf, the assistant went in the back and brought out a new supply so happy that I didn't have to go to another store. My only wish is that you would carry Nutri source dog food, have to go to kahoots for that brand

My yellow lab-mix Indy gets so excited to go to the Vista Petco on Hacienda Drive! She seeks and finds Petco employee Margo to give her love (and get treats). McKenna and Priscilla are so knowledgeable about bearded dragon care. They signed up my Spike the Beardie for Vital Care Pet Membership to help me earn discounts for his daily cricket consumption and other expenses. I like that Petco has everything I need to care for my fur and scale buddies.

I went here to get some food for my new chinchillas and the staff could not have been friendlier! Jenna helped me find the little yogurt drops, and directed me to the tarantula terrariums, they were open pretty late so I was able to stop by after work very happy experience would highly recommend!

Worst experience ever. We brought my dog in and are paying for full service. Our appointment was for 115 and they told us 2 to 3 hours. We came in after three hours and they told us they needed an hour more. She was locked in a cage, the whole time with no water no food when we brought her home she was so thirsty When we asked them why they needed more time and hadn’t gotten her done. They said that they just had other dogs and we’re really busy. They hadn’t done anything other than give her a basic bath in 3 hours!. They haven’t done the things we paid for, Deshedding (not brushed or deshedded), her nails were not trimmed or buffed which we paid extra for, no teeth brushing, no ear cleaning, and her legs weren’t even washed. They didn’t do the paw ointment. When we ask them why? And if they it takes normally 4 hours to wash a medium size dog with short hair, the children in the back started laughing at us. So we told them we would like to take her home now. And pay for the services they had done. She proceeded to give me an invoice for full services, though she had only performed maybe 1/9 of the full services that we purchased. I told her that I saw them laughing at us and she said they didn’t. I told her I was recording because I was scared after our interaction she was going to go and be mean and hurt my dog while bringing her back out to me and she said we weren’t allowed to record it. I said they were no signs and she said she could print out the policies for me. I had already stopped recording. I was only concerned about my animal because she seemed so mean. This was the worst experience ever. I’ve taken my dogs many times to groomers and it’s been one to two hours. Today She came home traumatized, starving and thirsty. It was so sad. It’s like they torture dogs there.

The store is a decent size and the staff friendly and helpful. Pretty good selection and variety of food for dogs and cats, but would have liked far more variety/options in the non-food supplies and toys available for cats.For example, I was looking for a piller sized for a cat's smaller mouth (for administering pills without get bit or having my cat spit them out), but they only had a big one appropriate for medium to large dogs. For cats, they only had one type of "pill pocket" treats, which has never worked for any cat I've ever dealt with. They also had lots of cute clothes options for dogs but not any "recovery suits" one could get for a cat with post-surgery stitches.Finally, the parking lot where this Petco is located is a bit wonky. Only two exits and weird traffic flow, but no issues finding a space.

This store has been my number 1 store for all my pets for many years. But after today experience i might never comeback to this petco.. I find it to be very stupid that they have the store open until 8pm but stop selling pets at earlier time . Atleast that is what I was told from an idiot today.After rushing to get there before closing I was was there at 7 :43 pm and I was disappointed that they don't sell pets after 7. Why keep a pet store open if you not selling pets.

I’ve been shopping at Petco for years! I work customer service so I know how I should be treated while shopping. There is an older lady that works at this location and EVERY time I go there she needs says hello or asks if I need help with anything, instead she stands there and stares at me the entire time I shop for my pets needs. There have been multiple times I catch her staring from across the aisle and instead of greeting me she stares. I even attempt to say hello but she doesn’t respond but walks away then 1 minute later continues her staring from across another aisle. I finally had enough and last visit asked her what’s her problem and if she needs anything! I told her and the other guy at the register that she is basically harassing me and is not doing her job correctly. This needs to be addressed. She is the only shorter older lady in the store and I will never go to this location again. Worst customer service I have ever witnessed ! Corporate needs to be called and the older lady at this location needsto be taught proper customer service! Very disappointed.

Groomer was timid and unprofessional. Couldn’t finish the job on my pet because they were nervous to be bitten but waited until after I paid and tipped before letting me know. My pet was just as scared as they were but didn’t take any level of professionalism to try.

I am usually waiting for about an hr for customer service. Otherwise an ok place. Definitely have your new fishy family in a hospital tank before adding them to your main aquarium.08/20/23 (prev comment 08/19/23)To the reply from the ”petco owner“: In addition to the new fishy family. And not simply about “EXPECTATIONS”. They passed those red worms to me. I literally have worms on my scalp, in my ears and in my body. What do i do now? Contact your supplier of guppies?

First of all the manager Dave is AWFUL no hospitality whatsoever. I notice that they had gotten a shipment of JUST FOOD FOR DOGS ready to be put in the freezer and I asked if I could get the salmon one. (there was none in the freezer). He said "No its going to take an HOUR to put it in and scan it I'm not clocked in, I just got back from lunch" even though he was trying to ring me up (OSHA VIOLATION). (I only waited so I can have someone help me get my dogs food.) I waited in line for 5 minutes while there was nobody even at the register and there was another lady waiting before me as well. I didn't have an hour to wait my dogs needed there food, they been out of this particular one for days now. I go and grab the beef one instead, I wasn't given a choice. Sarcastically tells me to just go to another store. Where I said "I don't have gas will you be providing me with gas now." And he goes on to refuse service because HE called ME a "smart alec" and I said" don't call me a smart alec, smart alec". he can dish out the words but when said the same thing back to him he gets his feelings hurt. boohoo keep in mind this is a manager at this location.
