I have been shopping at the store for over 10 months and was extremely happy. Purchased a fish on Friday the fish died Sunday morning. All I asked for was $70 store credit(since this was the fourth fish that has died from this store, and I never asked for anything) for what I felt was unfair fish never ate the owner refused to give me anything and basically treated me like garbage after I have spent thousands of dollars there.Zero customer service.

Awesome fish store with a great selection of coral and some interesting fish that always look healthy.During evacuations last month we were panicked and didn't know what to do with our large Tesellata Moray Eel, Greg. We called Reefers and they didn't hesitate at all to take Greg while we moved our tank and evacuated our home.He was well looked after and even fed during his stay, and we could not be more grateful for the outstanding people here who helped us without question.Greg is now happily back at home with us, along with a new cleaner Wrasse from Reefers that has been thriving and healthy in the weeks since we brought him home.This will always be the first place we go to for all our aquarium needs!

Have not been to this LFS in awhile and wow, they are stock full of corals. The most I have seen in San Diego. Good selection of fish and they have a really nice fresh water selection. Staff was helpful and will be back for sure! Thanks!

Careful what you're by here. Bought an angel fish, took it home and put it in the tank, boom! Ich and white spot. Almost took out my whole tank. This place offered zero guarantee or refund, even if quarantined properly. I thought these new owners were going to be a little bit better but the lady was pretty nasty on the phone offering zero recourse. No store credit, no guarantee, no refund. I have been keeping saltwater tanks for over a decade and have never run into this at an LFS, at least not a local one. New owners from Los Angeles. Not very nice. I have a lot of friends in the in the reefing Game here. Won't be recommending this store anytime soon.

I have been purchasing coral from Louis since I started into the hobby. Their variety of species and prices are the best in San Diego, hands down! They have everything for all skill levels! From saltwater fish to invertebrates and even freshwater livestock. Louis is extremely knowledgeable to help you decide the perfect new addition to your tank. Sold me a fish with velvet, I called them back the day I bought the fish and several days after with no call back. When I finally got a hold of them, tried to blame it on my water. The lady was very rude and knew nothing about fish. New Los Angeles owners. Killed all of my fish in my tank. Now I have to go fishless for three months. Not hard since all of them are dead. Do not go to the store unless you 100% quarantine your fish. They will sell you a tank bomb. If a LFS will sell you and infected fish with no recourse, as Ryan from BRS says, don't walk but run away from that store and never look back.

Great service! I had originally went to a local fish store, but they turned me away after I arrived five minutes before they closed. I had recently purchased over $100 in crabs from them, but they felt the need to turn me away. So, I found Reefers Garage and they were more than happy to take my business. I purchased over $300 in fish and am happy to say that all fish are healthy and alive. Thanks Reefrers Garage for taking care of an aquarium enthusiast... You will get my future business....
