Despite being located in a small town this place has an amazing inventory of just about anything you need at a hardware store. Staff are exceptional, friendly & knowledgeable. Prices are comparable and location is convenient.

Very happy to have this store in Meadow Vista. They have a very good selection for a small place, and the service is much better than the bigger box stores. Some prices may be a bit higher, but the saved gas makes up the difference.

Good little local hardware store. Small selection if you're looking for anything specific, but for general repairs and home/garden supply this place will do fine. Nice folks here and knowledgeable. Prices are hit and miss on being higher than down the hill but are at least always lower than hills flat.

I feel like I’m visiting a friendly neighbor when I go to this store. Staff are quick to help and know their store well. Though a small store, they have a. comprehensive inventory. I didn’t expect to find a swamp cooler belt, but there it was! It saved me a 20 mile trip to town.Many Thanks to Ace Hardware Meadow Vista.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. This little store has way more than you would expect. Even being a small town hardware store, their prices are reasonable. Don't drive down to Home Depot, try checking this store first.

Bought pallet of pellets. They wouldn’t load the pallet into the bed of the truck so it was done by hand. So not only did I get to hurt my body from doing this I now get to go do it again when I get home. Take bags out, put on pallet and then move it into shop with my forklift. If I didn’t want the pallet and it being nicely uniform I would have asked for maybe 10 bags. So I wouldn’t have hurt myself. Also don’t know if there was pallet fee or not like most places but since I didn’t get a pallet and the convenience of it being on said pallet shouldn’t it have been discounted? And they never asked me for my rewards number.

Reliable, well-stocked. This small town hardware store has a surprising variety of tools and supplies. I suspect they've had a lot of years' practice keeping those things on hand that people need most in this area.Very helpful staff, every single time. Glad to have such a great resource in town!

Hands down friendliest people on the face of the earth! However their stock supply? Worst ever! How about a 5/8" drill bit? Nope. Or maybe a 1 1/4" to 1" PVC reducing tee? Nope. Or maybe a 5/16" wire rope clamps? Not even close. I hope they improve. Ace in Auburn has the stuff but why take a chance? To the orange store I go....again!

Surprisingly well stocked which is what a small town needs. Everything from propane tank refills to motor oil, bird feeders, batteries and even gift items, besides all the things you expect from a hardware store. The staff is very knowledgeable and prompt to help. As soon as you walk in someone asks what they can help you with. The owners always contribute to local charity purposes and provide raffle gifts, etc. which must be taxing as they're the only game in town and get hit up a lot. Very glad to have this store nearby.

They are so helpful every time I go in there. They take the time to help you find what you need and explain to you. Very kind and polite. Old-timey, real customer service that we need more of these days.I always get my propane there.They have all kinds of things from pet items, equine items, cute home decor along with all the normal hardware store items. The only problem is that they are small so are limited with what they have and I sometimes have to go into Auburn to get what I need. But I check here first.I also learned that you can order some things online that they might not have (if you aren't in a hurry) to be shipped there.

Pretty good place to shop especially considering driving into Auburn would take at least 10 minutes minimum one way the employees are knowledgeable and friendly parking is never a problem and I usually don't wait in line more than one minute. Wide receiver five-star but the prices are a little bit High however that does not stop me from shopping here I would pay quite a bit more for the products they sell.

Always a pleasurable experience. Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. They always have what I need. I never leave empty handed, unlike other places I've tried shopping at in the past. With local owners, I know the money stays local. Good people, to boot. Take a visit if you haven't already.

This hardware store is a staple in our town. I will go here before resorting to a larger chain in Auburn. Their selection is very good and the store is always clean. Plus I know most every dollar I spend at Ace stays in the community.

This is the only hardware store in meadow vista. A little pricey, but well worth the convenience. The staff is very helpful and one the get to know you, they are like buddies. Just make sure to sign up for Ace Rewards.

I have visited this store 5 times and 4 out of 5 times they are not been nice or helpful. More like lazy. When I go to ACE hardware or OSH it is the reverse. I live in Meadow Vista so am sort of stuck going here for odds and ends. An example: 1-20-15 I went to the store with an online coupon and shopping list based on their website. They would not honor the website. They said even if the website has an item on sale, they won't honor it unless they say it is on sale. I also had a $5.00 coupon for spending over $50, i looked at the restrictions and I was within the guideline but up on the wall is a note that dogwood was not included and even if it had, i think they would have turned it down since it does say at the owners discretion. I gave it two stars because it is convenient. This store should be in a big city with their attitudes.

The staff actually know about the products they carry and the service is always excellent . Big box hardware stores carry lower quality versions of products they've negotiated at lower price points with manufacturers but they don't tell you about it. Get what you pay for.

Love this place for when I need a small item. They seem to carry everything but I use them for paint and supplies, sprinkler system parts, nails and screws.
