Veteran owned and ran supporting local enthusiasts to learn and share the joy of owning a reptile, amphibian or invertebrate. If I could put ten stars I would.

We get all our reptile and tarantula stuff at Beast Pets. The owner is so nice and so knowledgeable. I feel like he genuinely likes my family and all the customers that come in. I highly recommend this store!

Awesome pet shop, always friendly and helpful, I picked up most of my tarantula and reptiles here, they are healthy and thriving. They also have the best feeders for your animals.

Awesome shop with a bunch of cool exotics you don't really see anywhere else. Good selection of tank accessories. Owner was pretty friendly as well. Didn't purchase anything today as we were in town visiting but would definitely check it out again when in the market to purchase!

This is such a cool little store! It was clean and the animals looked very well taken care of. They had a really good selection of species as well as feeder insects. I got some Dubia roaches for my mantis and she loved them :) I'll definitely be stopping by again!

Went there today when they first opened. Man there is super friendly and was patient with me. Had kinda a big order and was trying to remember everything I needed, he did not even try to rush me. One of the best reptile companies in SD County! I hope they expand more, they deserve the attention! Attached is a pic of my happy girl with her F/T mouse! They also offer quail here unlike most shops around here. Also looking through, husbandry, health, and appearance of the animals here look AMAZING!

Excellent pet selection, the owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this store over any other. I got a tokay gecko and a musk turtle, both are doing great.

Excellent first visit! Went in looking for food for our young toad and the gentleman working helped us figure out what to feed it and how to set up the terrarium. Will definitely be back.

Great pre made set ups beautifully made, amazing prices and friendly staff. Although it's a bit far from me I don't mind driving specifically for their pricing and stock of animals.

1000/10 would recommend, I stumbled across this shop via a Google search and I am not displeased. My father gave me a snake and didn't know where to get some food for it. Found this local gem and the owner has/is always helpful. Food is always readily available and the store/presentation is neat. Great pricing great selections and great customer service skillsWould love to do some volunteer work here.

Steve saved my snake! I had a corn snake that was no longer taking frozen/thawed mice. And she went about 6 months without eating. I tried many different techniques with no success. Steve had some suggestions and also had live mice, and sure enough my snake gobbled them down after numerous failed attempts. Every time I've gone in everything looks clean, the animals look happy, he has wide selection of exotic animals, and he's always been really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this store to anyone who likes reptiles!

Past several weeks I've been here, Steve has been incredibly helpful and provided great customer service. This is the only place I have been able to find my preferred feeder crickets in bulk! I bought a Hawaiian Blue Day Gecko, and albino spanish newts! Both have been terrific, beautiful additions to my collection. Highly recommend to fellow hobbyists!

My son is all about reptiles. The gentleman working, who may have been the owner, was very knowledgeable and provided us with information about our uromastyx. He also has some endangered lizards in the shop which are an amazing opportunity for kids to see these beautiful animals before they go extinct.

Extremely clean store ! Animals are very well kept. They do have a good selection of reptiles and fish, but they can easily expand their verity of species. Snake selection is very basic. Never the less I absolutely enjoyed this store!

I wish I could give this place a million stars. I recently found a chameleon in the street. I brought it here because I didn't know what to do with it. Owner said I could leave it with him at his store for a couple days and he would take care of it while I tried to locate the owner. After realizing I wasn't going to find the chameleon's owner I decided to keep it. They were able to help me get all set up with everything that I needed within my budget and just unbelievable amounts of knowledge tips and tricks to help me be a good chameleon owner.You can tell when you go in that all of the reptiles and insects and spiders and everything here is just so well taken care of.I decided I am only buying crickets for my chameleon from this store no matter what. after buying crickets from Petco and PetSmart once or twice that all died very quickly and were honestly just nasty disgusting crickets ... Then I stopped in to pick up some crickets from beast pets and I couldn't believe the difference it was literally night and day. The crickets that I purchased today from beast pets were all very clean looking very active you can tell that they're just so much healthier higher quality than the crickets I've seen anywhere else.. and on top of being way higher quality they're cheaper too!!!! Like I said before if I can give this place a million stars I would. Definitely check it out!!

Great guy steve the owner was very helpfull. He helped with everything i needed for my cornsnake. I used to go to the one in oceanside but i made this my main store for any reptile buyers. Great store

Use to go to LLLreptile for supplies this store is my go to store to buy food and supplies for my reptiles!. The crickets last longer and look way healthier
