My husband and I love barking spot we have been regulars for a few years now. We were friends with the previous owners but the new owners still do an amazing job and have some of the same amazing staff and new staff. They always do the best job of our 2 dogs to make them look handsome and beautiful. Sammie has known us the entire time and she always goes above and beyond to give us the best experience and her love of Nike and snow means a lot. And the other staff to take great care of Nike and snow. There is no better grooming place then barking spot from the beautiful design, environment, customer service, groomers giving us best treatment and the fast answers to easily book an appointment through the phone number makes it so easy. We love barking spot more the any groomer we have ever been! You need to take your dogs here! Thank you for all you do for us barking spot!

I love going here! I’ve taking my two dogs here, the past couple times, and they always end up getting a great cut! Always fast service, and the groomers are very attentive to my specific wants and needs for their haircuts. Thank you Barking Spot!

Highly recommend!! I called this morning asking if they had availability today for two baths and they made room out of their busy schedule for two of my babies🐶🐶💕 ! Great customer service!! Very friendly!! Will be taking all my 3 pups there from now on!! My Papas and Franky looked so cute, fresh, and handsome after their baths!! Papas even got an adorable animal farm print bandana!! 🐶 💕

I took my puppy in for a puppy grooming. The Barking Spot is an adorable boutique looking place and is very inviting. The groomer did a great job with my puppy. My pup was soft and clean. They are quick and efficient and I will definitely be taking my pup here again.

I absolutely love this place. I’m very fearful of how people treat puppies, as they can be crazy, and full of energy. But my goodness, my puppy came out of there smelling so good, and as i was walking to the window the front desk associate was playing with her as we were walking in! I couldn’t be happier with how she came out, happy and smelling amazing. Thank you barking spot!

Sammi is great with our dog Andy. We’ve been coming to Barking Spot for a long time now and we’ve never been disappointed with his grooming. Andy can be quite grumpy at times, but Sammi makes sure to still do a great job despite his mood swings. :)

Took my dog to this place yesterday for a basic bath and brush and they did an incredible job. I hadn’t realized that his tail was matted and they took care of it as well. It’s a very cute spot with very lovely groomers so I’m definitely going to be back.

If I could give Barking Spot ZERO stars I would! Do not bring your dog here for anything! Theses ladies are extremely incompetent to simply schedule an appointment properly. I no longer care to find out what they would do to my dog. I was made to come on two separate days for an appointment for which they could neither get a date nor specifics of what I wanted correct. First day came in to be told no appointment had been scheduled for my dog. Even after showing them my text communication with someone in their establishment. So I was given another appointment for the next day which I agreed. Decided to give them a second chance. It is a very stressful time of year right before Christmas so I chocked it up to stress of the holidays. I show up next morning and am told only a bath when I had originally requested Full Setvice, bath and full trim. I wasn't aware full service only meant bath. When I expressed a bit of frustration they very quickly attempted to dismiss me without trying to understand why. I tried explaining and showing them my text communications but they were neither sorry or apologetic or showed any understanding for which I was frustrated. I came twice for an appointment and I am glad I walked away instead of leaving my dog with people who are incompetent and rude.

Another year of grooming in the books! As always Chai is looking great, healthy, and happy :) Our vet always compliments her teeth, ears, ands paws so I'm happy that the staff at Barking Spot does a fantastic job on her grooming that complements my care at home.

Great place for a spa retreat for your dog. I was able to book an appointment for my dog same day. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. My 7 year old beagle came out looking great and smelled amazing!! And his bandanna was so cute and festive. We have been customers for well over 2 years.

Such a great experience here with my GSD. Not only does my dog look so handsome and smell amazing- the staff was SO kind, patient, friendly and helpful. So, so, SO happy I found this place and I have every intention of returning!!! Highly recommend- your dog will love it.

It was my puppy's 1st time at a groomers and Lena did a great job. The front desk staff Ashley was so friendly and inviting too. I am looking forward to bringing back my F1B Mini Goldendoodle puppy back next month. Thanks Barking Spot for a great 1st time experience.

My doggie is not a fan of grooming or strangers. These ladies make him feel comfortable and relaxed and treat him as if he was their own. It took me a while to find a good groomer and happy that I’ve been a customer for about 2 years now. Happy Pooch, Happy Customer.

Lena was an amazing groomer!!! My dog looked really good and her fur was so soft! I will definitely be requesting her again.Besides having amazing groomers they also have the cutest pet products. I ended up buying a really cute pink leash for my dog. Next time I'm hoping to get one of their dog bandanas!

I love Barking Spot! This place treats my Barnacle like a prince, I’m sure all dog owners can relate how nerve wrecking it is to take your dog to a grooming spot. But look no further! These lovely ladies are the super sweetest and down to earth staff I have ever met! I’ve been taking BARNIE here for MONTHSSSS now and they are use to him being a regularly, they even give him a complementary bandanna every time I pick him up ❤️ It warms my heart knowing they love him as much as I love him.

This is my first time taking my 4 month pug for a grooming service, he is a bit shy and scary cat, but immediately warmed up to Miss Maritza, she was absolutely awesome with him. She explained the grooming package and service that would be provided (the puppy bath, includes wash, nail cutting and dremmel, blueberry facial, and ear cleaning) I was given an estimated time my pug would be ready, and I left. Moments later I received a courtesy text letting me know my pug was almost ready. When I picked him up he was extremely happy and relaxed. The whole experience has been absolutely fantastic, from being able to text for my appointment, to the communication. The location by the way has treats, harnesses, leashes, puppy beds and birthday cakes available for purchase. The simplicity from scheduling, pricing, and services offered is very very thorough no hidden prices or gray areas. I will definitely return for future services for my pug.!!!! Thank you Miss Maritza.

The Bark spot always does an amazing job for my Izzy girl. The doodle essentials and works is a must if you have any of these breeds. We finally found the best cut for my Izzy’s face so she isn’t wearing half of her water bowl. They do not keep your pet in cages which I love and local if you are in the Eastlake Otay Ranch neighborhood. They are worth the travel if not.
