Store is clean but check the dates on your food. They have a reputation of leaving food that’s well past the sell by date on the shelf. I saw an entire case of cream cheese that was 2 months past the date. I’ve seen yogurt that had mold on the outside of the container. My wife just tossed a P3 protein pack because it had a date from September. They need to do a better job of training employees to rotate the stock so the oldest is in front and to pay attention to the sell by date to remove it from the shelf.

Hard to find help at this Save Mart location on Goshen and Acres in Visalia also only have two registers open while seven or eight people are standing around chitchatting

I wish I could give 0 stars for my experience last evening. I believe I was racially discriminated against by the manager on sight at the store on Goshen and akers in Visalia. This experience has left me seriously considering taking my thousands of dollars of monthly shopping elsewhere and not spending another dime with Savemart. This is very sad as my whole family has shopped here for decades and are friends with the family who started it. Unbelievable we would be treated this way. Unacceptable!

Prices are higher than other places. So it's a rip off in general, however they do carry some foods that are harder to find at other stores, such as garlic cheese. So it's a bad place to do the bulk of your shopping but good for follow up shopping for items you couldn't find elsewhere.

So sad since the original owner greatest man who always put his employees first as he said "you are all my family" passed on years ago and daughter took over and now sold good luck on going back to what an amazing company this was. Prices are ridiculous high, they don't know how to treat the true people making sure the store stays open yes YOU the customers that walk through the door not the company saying they are paying you because in all reality the people walking through the door are the ones that make sure you get a paycheck...Customer Service well all I can say is you should give a customer service course to your Pharmcy what a rude gal!! But it's the world we live in today..But that being said the Pharmacy on Akers and Walnut or off 198 have wonderful sweet Pharmacy employees!!!

Save mart on Goshen what happened to you? It’s okay that I don’t get a Hello or any greeting for that matter. I’ve let that go BUT every time my groceries are bagged why is raw chicken and fresh vegetables and herbs put in the same bag. When I noticed I said, no , please don’t do that. The young girl was like.. oh what? What’s wrong? I said, raw chicken and fresh vegetables should not in in the same bag. She had no idea!!!! No wonder why they do it all the time. Come on management take a moment and educate your staff. I love the produce but tired of throwing it away when I get home.

This store is inconsistent! It depends on who’s behind the counter at their market deli. I go in to buy pre-made food in the display case and some workers sell me food after 7pm and others tell me I can’t buy it. Sometimes when I come in just after 6pm they tell me the same thing. My work hours don’t allow me to come in sooner a lot of the time. I seems like that only happens when the worker doesn’t feel like scooping and weighing out some food. If there is an actual rule the. enforce it always and be consistent, and if there isn’t then serve the people who are hungry and here to give the business money. Time to find a new grocery store. I have only been completely by here for 12 years.

I stopped for a snack because of my diet. I usually don't shop here. They have just about anything you might want, but the prices are too steep for most of us. I can get just about anything I want elsewhere, but my food budget won't be broken. Bottom line is this store isn't worth the prices they charge. I'll continue to do my shopping elsewhere.

Everyone here is super friendly. It's my main grocery store.*edit* They now have Click Cart online ordering. They are super great about getting it all correct. I've used this service several times, and the staff is amazing. Sonya and Bonnie usually fill my orders, and they are great! I love that I can shop online, and sit in my car while it gets loaded in.

Great shopping experience for all your household items. a well stocked store/ supermarket and items easily and well arranged for ease of access and ease to see. A lot of impulse buying here due to great shelf displays that are eye catching. recommended strongly by myself.

Big shrimp on sale. Went for the wife. They are the only place I know that I can buy JUST eggs , so a nice early morning bike ride. Get there early, always low on sale shrimp.

Well organized and clean store. Decent selection. Prices are much higher than many competitors. Some of the cashiers have never been trained to make a customer feel welcome or appreciated.

Yes I was working for instacart and the cashier first just kept the belt going and put heavy item on there behind bread muffins chips the bag boycouldn't bag due to trying to move all the squishable items to the side which is her job as cashier . Then she told the bag boy oh it don't matter how you bag these groceries cuz it's delivery which I'm sorry it matters its still a customer either way so she was just putting whatever in whatever bag and he replied I'm just trying to do it the right way but it don't matter she responded I'm sorry for the store for cuz the rest of the employees where helpful and polite however this cashier dropped my rating of this store to a 2 if you see her avoid her line she's got bright red hair and is rude and unprofessional and honestly was more concerned with talking to some man over doing her job. I hope the management fixes this issuse or move her to stock because she is the worst cashier I've had in the past 3 months and I see at least 10 a day so that's bad 😞

I always have an easy task when I'm there. My last visit though, was too rushed at check out. The young man came across as impatient and rushed. He crushed 2 bags of chips and then I had to go all the way back because a bag of four loaves of bread was missing. I've been going to this store for seven years and this was the first time I was unhappy with the employee. Every other time has been great.

Good selection and well stocked, but did not enforce mask wearing. Almost half of the patrons had no face covering, putting the rest of us at risk.Update: Now months after the government mandate, still a substantial number of uncovered faces. This is probably fine for healthy patrons, but I would recommend caution to the elderly and those with medical conditions, and consider shopping at an alternative market.

After 8 years of being loyal shoppers to our neighborhood Save Mart on Goshen Ave ma and my husband have finally had enough of the rude service we have been receiving a lot of lately. The meat department has changed so much these past couple years. The meat department has the worst customer service we have ever received anywhere. The staff there is overwhelming rude and could care less about helping their customers. The Management needs to step up and pay closer attention to that department. So long Save Mart on Goshen Ave. Me and my husband will be taking our business elsewhere.

The worker at the deli has such a bad attitude when she has to do any kind of work. I love the pastrami at the deli but the worker always has an excuse to not make the sandwich. If you’re going to get anything from the deli expect a bad attitude.

Very comfortable going here. The employees are always kind, it still hits me when they ask me if I need help taking my groceries to my car. This is great service and I'm glad that they care.
