The gals here did an outstanding job taking care of my puppy! She needed a haircut a month ago but as a otr trucker it was impossible for me to schedule anything anywhere. Everybody is booked 2 weeks out and I don't know where I'm gonna be 2 days from now. I must have called 20 groomers trying to get somebody to help me on short notice and everybody said no. I carried my shaggy baby into this store and told them my plight and they went the extra mile to fit us in! I even parked my rig in the back of the loading dock lol.Hailey did a fabulous job with the haircut and nail grind. My little Clarabelle looks and feels and smells great now! Especially in this crazy heat! She was so happy when we got back to the truck. I'd recommend coming here to anybody! If you're another trucker with the same problem, call and tell them. I'm going to find a load coming this way the next time she needs a haircut just so I can come back here..

I made an appointment for bathing and brushing back for my dog ​​3 days ago. In the Pet Smart store in Visalia,CA. Yesterday I filled out the questionnaire. Today I came on time for bathing and brushing. I showed them the dog’s account where all her vaccinations are. According to the plan, the vaccination will be in February on the 18th. At the reception, the girl checked everything and said that the dog was being accepted and that they would have time to bathe and brush it before 5 pm. I asked what was taking so long? She answered maybe at 4 pm it will be ready. Well...I thought...okay. She takes the dog and says the hair is matted behind its ears. I say yes...a little. She replies that they will shave! I say that she can’t do that. (Pomeranian) Under no circumstances should you shave the fur of a Pomeranian. I didn’t tell her this, I just said that leave it as it is. At home, I’ll go through the length of her fur with thin nail scissors and everything will be fine. Or give me scissors, I’ll do it here. She walked, walked around the salon, talked to the haircutters and came to me and said let’s move the appointment to Saturday. I can’t on Saturday... I’m leaving for Los Angeles. Yes, I only need half an hour to subtract her and that’s it. But I I fell ill with the flu and I can’t breathe with this wool and it’s hard to bend over. So I decided to turn to professionals for the first time. Funny!!! They helped!!!! Moreover, they looked at me as if I had never brushed the dog. But in fact, it’s been raining for a week now, I’ve been sick for two weeks now, and yet the dog is shedding. Spring... spring shedding .I usually comb it out, cut it well, and then after a day or two I give it a bath and comb it out again and straighten the haircut. Because it’s cold now... it’s not like in the summer... in the summer it’s enough to give it a bath, comb it and cut it. Thank you, professionals, you convinced me!!! I won’t set foot in your salon again. It’s disgusting to even remember!!! Wasted time, and even with the aftertaste of such terrible service.

Bait and switch tactics used at this store are appauling. They advertise have three brand of oral flea treatments online but only have the most expensive brand in store. And of course they don't have any in stock even thou they don't remove the product boxes from the shelf. Will NEVER shop there again. 👎

Helpful staff, great selection of goods for ALL animals. I love that they allow you to bring in your pets without question. They offer pet training as well. I just wish they would carry the kind of dog food I get. #BullyMax

So I've went to this place a few times and I never had any complaints before but this time the my Frenchie got a different groomer (new girl serviced her) she cut her nails so short that she started bleeding didn't tell me anything about it I had to find out when I was giving her a bath later that night I am beyond pissed and will be going to the vet on what I can do legally and medically she didn't even tell me is a hell noI will never go back here again

I have been taking my puppy since she was 3 months old to get her used to grooming. Adriane suggested doing Xpress grooming appointment because she gets nervous so that’s what I booked and this is the second time I showed up and the Xpress is not what they booked me for so I’ll go someplace else.

I can find most of what my furry and fin kids need here. If they don't have it, staff has always offered to help me order it or what day they expect a shipment. And at least in my local store, I never have to look far, for assistance.

Came in to buy crickets , worms, and gold fish. I got crickets first. Lady that helped us was very friendly. Answered all my questions about how to feed and keep crickets alive.I bought what she recommended to get water for the crickets. I also bought a container for crickets. When I asked for fish, I was told someone would be there to help me soon. Waited for a while. When someone came I was told they couldn’t sell me fish since I didn’t have a set up for them. I told them I had my fish tank at home. She looked at me and called Mandy on head gear. She told her I have fish tank at home. My questions is, do I need to bring fish tank to store to prove I have fish tank??? This is a pet store. We come in to buy what we need for our home. I also bought earth worms . All this things we’ll be pets for my preschool kids. I gave it a one star because I thought it was rude of them to tell me they could sell me fish because I didn’t have a set up. How would they know if I do or I don’t. I have a brand new tank with everything I need for the fish. Since I do have other fish tanks besides the new one.

I hate to give the store three stars because I usually don’t have any issues here but on 2/20/23 I took two fish back in the morning that passed away after I bought them the evening before. The fish passing may have been my error or they were already really stressed from being chased around all day while other people shop there. I started a new tank and I cycled my tank with a bio filter from another tank I have. I also used the quick start I purchased from this store. (Don’t sell it if it doesn’t work) What I had an issue with is the person who helped me at the fish tanks started questioning me about my tank and then told me I shouldn’t have the two fish I bought in a tank together. I bought a black moor and a small angel fish as well as a frog. Only the fish passed. I let her know I have had tanks for the last 13 years and I don’t have issues with these two being together plus I was buying them small. She told me if I buy any fish today that I can not bring them back if they pass away. She was very rude and treated me like I didn’t have any knowledge. She never asked me what size or how many other tanks I have. I can easily move an aggressive fish out if needed. I bought more fish and this morning they are all fine and happy. Here is what really bothers me, I asked for another black moor and I stood back while she got my fish because of other people shopping for fish. She double bagged my fish so I couldn’t see clearly in the bag and when I got home I discovered she gave me a black goldfish. He was not a moor and even my receipt has a different code and cheaper price. She intentionally gave me the wrong fish so she could have the last word I guess. Why would you act like you care so much about fish but send a customer home with a wrong fish to prove a point. I will keep my little guy, he actually has a lot of character and we already named him. I would never stress a fish out more chancing someone would bring it back because it is the wrong fish. I also didn’t appreciate you running to the register to make sure to tell the clerk to not let us return the fish. We did a little more shopping for our dogs and we saw you following us to see where we went. Just a total lack of professionalism.

I brought my dog in for a grooming. The girl at counter chewed me out for being a few minutes late. Ok I’ll take it. I then asked for his hair to be trimmed. She snapped at me, “You should have told us that on the phone. No we can’t do it”. I was the only customer in the entire store, They had just opened. $68 later, my dog still needs a hair cut. This is who they hire to interface with customers.

Okay, if my review was just based on, “how great is this store,” this PetSmart would get 5 stars. But my review is not only based on how great the store and staff are. My review also takes into account the value of what I am purchasing. PetSmart is a much nicer experience than the other BIG CHAIN STORE (you know, the one we all hate but go to bc- cheap), but when items are priced $5 - 10$ more per item...! I can’t justify making my purchase there. The item in the photograph I posted was literally 10$ cheaper at the BIG CHAIN STORE. I like you PetSmart... but work on your pricing structure & price more competitively.

Today I was reminded why I no longer go to petsmart grooming. I called at 4pm and made a same day appointment for 2 nail trims at 415 because I was already in town with my dogs. I walked in to petsmart to see the grooming area dark and another customer told me she's going up front to see what's going on. She came back with the manger who was quit rude and said staff went home at 430 which was odd considering it was only 4:20. He did not even stop to speak to me, he walked right by me. This place needs to employee people with better manners.

This store was very cute, very clean, great customer service, great prices, and the animals they had in there pet store looked like they are very well taken care of. I purchased a beautiful female Guinea pig for my d as daughter and it was so fun and exciting getting To adopt our New Guinea pig. As we were adopting her we were very well informed of the do's and don't of the right way to take care of our Guinea pig. About her for over a month and she is such a joy and in perfect house thank you, "Petsmart".

Had a great experience with PetSmart grooming. My one year old terrier needed his nails trimmed and grinded and I thought while he was there he could get a bath too. He had never been to a groomer and him being a rescue that was literally found on the side of the road in a box as a puppy, I was concerned about him being crated before and after service. I didn't want his first experience at the groomer to be a negative one. The groomer was so understanding and calming with Shadow and recommended express service for a small additional fee that would allow him to get groomed right away and she gave me a time he would be finished. It went so well and I was very pleased with the results and Shadow pranced right out of the store not at all stressed with the experience. This is definitely our new place to go for all his grooming needs as well as his treats and toys ❤️

Hawaiian born n raised we used another wonderful place on Maui, but after over 2 decades we've moved to the mainland. We needed a good n caring grooming place. So we gave PetSmart a whirl. LOVING THIS PLACE!!!

We came here to buy our beta! Got some water treatments, a marimo ball for the tank. It was sort of a walk in walk out visit, I did a lot of research online and I know a fish isn't a dog but I wish when buying our fish they gave us more information on it. Anyone can walk in and buy a fish though haha

We never really have any problems there. We just returned a large turtle aquarium because of some cracks that formed. There were no issues with changing it out. They have been very knowledgeable with suggestions for any questions we've asked. Very helpful.
