The manger was extremely inconsiderate and parked so close to my car our mirrors were almost touching. I was so upset I took pictures. I went inside to talk with the cashier so she could announce over the intercom for the person to move their car and she so no need it's the manger, she would let him know. He left me standing there another 10 minutes ( I could see him standing in his office door) and when he came out he didn't apologize or anything! If you hire such rude managers I seriously don't want to try to get customer service when I need it

Clean. Hamsters, birds, reptiles, fish...so cute and their little areas looked well kept. Took my daughter, enjoyed the visit. Cashier was nice.

I enjoy coming here especially to see the animals. If you can adopt you must take a look at the birds. I really hope someone takes Dale the parrot soon. He seemed like the sweetest boy.

Ridiculous service. Had appointment to get my dog shot and selected appointment at 1140. I'm in line at 1140 the staff is taking there sweet time and right before I check in they say no more people then try to say appointment was at 1130.

Not sure what’s happening to the groomers, it’s te second time I get there with my dog and they cancel on me. I have made the appointment days of advance because we all get busy and have plans. SUPER UPSET!! I have cancelled other things for my Petco appointment and they do that, I was looking forward to see my dog clean and this happened again.

The first couple times I took my dog to get her nails trimmed it was good. Last time I took her, they said she has a cracked/chipped nail and wont trim them. Itmight bleed and they dont have the stuff needed to make it stop bleeding. It's a pet store for cripes sakes. It is on the shelf. Needless to say, I've never gone back

They closed thier restrooms, and acted like i was crazy for asking, the cashier was texting instead of helping me,and then demanded my phone # to buy ten crickets,saying it was policy because they are live animals !!! Im done with this place !!

It's so much easier when you hve questions pertaining to an animal you've purchased ( in my case a couple of snakes) and the employee helping you is actually knowledgeable and can answer any question or concerns I hve. Well that makes all the difference...

Did you know the animals the pet stores put for adoption are from Puppy Mills? It's where greedy people breed dogs and they sell them to Pet Shops. When the mother is no longer able to breed they shoot them and bury them or not. The parents are seperated from their puppies. These cages are metal with chicken wire, no blankets, nowhere to use the restroom. They sleep in their own feces and their own urine. Their bowls are filled with their own urine and feces. All these cages are metal, it's dark and cold. Soon after they give birth the puppies are sold to pet stores. So, WE HAVE TO SAY NO to pet stores. ALL pet stores get their dogs from puppy Mills. If you adopt go to a shelter. ASPCA, Ace of Hearts. Look online, find shelter. We need to stand together on this very serious issue. Knowing these animals have to suffer in the cold, be chained to a tree outside in this cold weather, rain, thunder, and lightning. Animals fear that. We have to Act Now. If we don't, the animals that don't get adopted go to kill shelters they have a certain amount of time before they are put down. In a kill shelter they line them all up. They kill them, one in front of the other. If you have to put an animal down make sure it's because it's got rabies not because he's a stray off the street. We need to go to shelters offering puppies, Senior Dogs and all different types of animals. Not from puppy mills. We need to fight against them. Stop buying in pet stores and go to a shelter. It's like WE are putting a gun to an animal's head and pulling the trigger. Each animal goes to bed every night crying, alone, cold, hungry, unloved, felt like they did something wrong. Some owners choose to move where they can't take their animals so they give them up to shelters or leave them in the streets. Not caring what happens to them. If you decide to adopt any animal, do it from a shelter. Make sure you will keep this animal you adopt, that you love, feed and be there for them. Please adopt, from a shelter and stay away from the pet stores. If you look on the internet you'll see how puppy mills work. The horrible way the owners treat them.They even die right next to one another and cry. They don't deserve that. So, please consider adopting at a shelter not a pet store. Or you can consider to foster or foster to adopt. We do not need to contribute to puppy mills. Stand up to help them. Next time you walk into a pet shop, remember, what you read and walk out. They had security follow me Around in the store as i looked for the right food, while on the phone with my mother, then when I very, VERY, Politely, complained was insulted. I can't understand it, ive also had 1 medium grade experience where they helped me look for a holster then kinda gave up halfway.

We came here to buy sand and a siphon for our new Beta tank, a sales associate came up to us and helped us pick one. He was super informed, I was interested in live plants and he let us know to wait until we upgraded to a larger tank since of course the plants will grow. Which is cool because we are planning on upgrading this summer so we will be back! We even picked up one of our dogs favorite toys "lamb chop" this is his third one, he loves em so much. Haha

I take my pet there for their for grooming for $20. You can't beat it. She was bathed. Her nails was clipped. Her ears was cleaned. Her teeth was brushed and above all the employees were very compassionate and caring. I would highly recommend their services 😊💯👍

The people there are very attentive and helpful…a gal named bri is especially helpful….all in all petco in Visalia is a fun experience
