Very helpful :) I had a flat tire that I did not notice until almost too late. I was able to bring it in after work and get air put in all my tires. There was damage done to my tire from driving on it while flat, they were able to put on a new one right then. The price and wait time was good as well.

Pep Boys was great for getting my truck in when it shut down on me while driving down the highway. They quickly diagnosed that my fuel pump had failed, and between diagnostics and replacement charged about $1,200. A bit on the high end for prices but an oem pump was installed so whatever. The work was done quick, and that's about all I can say for the positives.After getting my car back, I could no longer pump gas because the technician had left his hose clamps on my gas tank vent line.. after finding these myself, I returned to the garage and was offered an inspection of the work completed. I'm still very unhappy that after paying almost $600 for labor I had to finish the job myself to ensure it was done properly. The service was quick but I won't be returning

I called Pep Boys and asked if I could be given an appointment to buy 4 new tires and have them installed on my car that afternoon. Tyler answered my call, and he was extremely helpful. I was told to bring my car in immediately, and when I got there, I was given information on tires available, their durability, and prices. I chose the brand that worked best for me, and the new tires were on my car within an hour. The entire experience was amazing, because of the genuine customer service I received right from the start.

Never ever send your car here to be fixed. They are terrible. Service is terrible. Employees are unknowledgeable especially the big guy with the Ray-Ban glasses. You know who you are. Staff look like they're fresh out of the mother's womb. Don't know nothing. If you love your car, I suggest Firestone. They're so awesome. Take your car there. Don't waste your time here. Pep boys. Sorry sorry sorry that's all I have to say.

Paul is such a great manager, Pep Poys is lucky to have him employed wwith them. Best customer service I've encountered trough my years of dealing multiple other shops. He definitely deserves to be appreciated or at the very least a raise.

I was told by another tire shop that my brakes needed to be replaced as soon as possible. I came to pep boys because the estimate was much more cost effective. The workers let me know that the measurements I received were not true and my brakes were just fine, sent me on my way and was actually honest with me. So grateful! I will absolutely come back with all my car needs. Can’t recommend enough!

Went in for a brake job and was charged a hefty amount. Noticed that they didn't fill the brake reservoir nor did they properly bleed my brakes. The pedal still felt spongy and it did take a while for my vehicle to come to a complete stop. They claimed that they couldn't turn my rotors since they were past the point of being usable, yet they wouldn't show me my rotors. They must have installed the cheapest pads they could find because after months my vehicle is still squealing when I press on the brake pedal, and it annoys me when I have to hear that high pitch sounds. Imagine spending 740$ dollars to get this kind of service. Go to Firestone down the street or support your local Main Street shops not these crooks.

I went in for an alignment and my esc light was on. The alignment was done, however a zero point calibration was not done on my steering wheel to reset the esc light. I was told that I would have to go to the dealership to have the esc light reset. Clearly they did not know what they were talking about/doing as I did the zero point calibration myself at home to reset the light.

Pep Boys on Mooney in Visalia is ALWAYS slammed. There is ALWAYS a line at the service counter, there is almost never an open bay in their garage. Some may see this as a problem. I see it as proof of customer satisfaction. I could name other garages in town that are nowhere near as busy. Manny, Moe and Jack always have the part I need or they use their network to get it delivered asap. My personal experience at this shop has been exceptional. A few years ago, Pep Boys was selected by our company fleet management and they take great care of our vehicles. Their diagnostics are detailed, accurate, and not unnecessarily inflated. Our service deadlines are consistently met or exceeded. Despite their relentless work load, their staff are upbeat, responsive, professional, helpful, and willing to take a moment to answer a quick question with a smile. These guys ROCK!

Not really impressed. Very polite staff, although the mechanic actually under my hood either didn't speak much English or just didn't speak much at all. They were super busy and understaffed, too. When I made the appointment the previous day, i did so with the intention of getting an A.C. recharge, but on the day of the appointment the A.C. tech was already too busy. They took care of the other things I wanted, did free inspections of brakes and fluids and alerted me that my air filters needed changing, typical stuff. I did have to ask them for a new mileage sticker for my oil change. I would have given them five stars except for the problem of my hubcaps - I'd been driving for miles and miles since my last tire rotation, up and down hills, offroading and dodging California drivers, all with the same hubcaps, and two of my hubcaps fell off within ten minutes of leaving the shop. The customer service mechanic insisted the hubcaps were already broken when i came in, which I guess isn't impossible, but I'm still kind of wondering, did i piss someone off?

The Service Techs at the Visalia Pep Boys were very professional, and courteous. We made an appointment to get our breaks repaired. We came in at our scheduled time, and were helped right away. The repair technicians kept us up to date on the repairs. The repair was completed and there were no surprises.
