I took in an abandoned cat after taking him to a vet, finding out that he was chipped, and that his family didn't want him. First stop? A groomer to shave off the awful matting in his fur.After some research, I took him to Robert at Groomingdale's. He did an amazing job, and now Sam's coat has a chance to grow back more beautiful than ever!

Super happy with their service. They got me in the next day and the price was very reasonable. My dog is pretty skittish when it comes to grooming and the vet. When I picked her up she seemed really comfortable and looked great. Soft and had a cute bandana on. You can tell they care about the animals they work with. I’ll be coming back.

This was my first time taking my dog to groomingdales. I was stressed and could no longer cut her myself being that she would thrash and would feel defeated in the end. The lady was so kind and took my dog in even knowing she can be quite a handful, was very sweet and understanding and took time after the haircut to explain how to make her more comfortable with her trouble areas. Earned a returning customer. I could recommend this place enough! Great, patient and understanding staff.

I took a bad review down after I read response, this place was great until I missed an appointment. If I was given an explanation I would have gladly paid for my missed appointment. I realize I was being petty and apologize because this place really does do great work. I wish my Last visit would have been different. Thank you for the times you did a great job.

This has been one of my preferred vendors for over 12 years. Staff is wonderful, when I asked my dog if she wants to go for a spa day she's ready to go in the car! So if you can patronize them, you will be rewarded. You should know that they do not take cards, but anyone can deal with that!

Made an appointment for my bf’s dog. When I brought him I informed the lady that he would need a muzzle since he’s a bit nervous but gets acclimated quickly. She immediately look displeased and said I would have to sedate him before bringing him back. She than proceeded to see if he would be ok she wasn’t very patient with him at all took the leash and tried touching him backside which he didn’t like at all. I feel like she was in a rush and didn’t to take the time to get him use to the area. I called several vets who said that’s weird to sedate him and suggested finding a different groomer.I wouldn’t recommend this place for a small nervous dog I feel there is a lack of patience and do not like the immediate response to sedate an elderly dog. I don’t think I’ll bring any dog back there. The groomers I have met are accustomed and properly trained to deal with nervous dogs but she obviously was not.I never said the dog was neglected I said it had been awhile. The dog gets plenty of attention I stated he worked well with dogs and needed to warm up to a person first. In your 40 years of experience it’s still obvious you lack professional attention

Rhonda is so patient with the dogs. She talks to the little fur babies and it really helps them to stay calm. She does a beautiful job grooming them and worth every penny!!

My yorkie went in for her grooming this morning and came home looking amazing! They did everything I asked. Also she has a trachea that is narrowing and I asked them to take precautions with her and they were so careful with her. She was done in a 11/2 hrs. I love Rhonda and her staff! I have found my new groomers! Baby loves it there! They have nice soft little beds in each cage for the dogs so they aren't thrown in a cold cage.

I absolutely loved this place they worked so we'll with my little dog and gave her and me a great experience. Iv looked in to several grooming place and nun of them as nice and good price as this place. I will be taking my other dog next time to. They have a nice sitting place in front we're I waited. If your looking for a nice place and affordable this is the place to go. Thanks for the great experience

I took my husky to get groomed and when I picked her up she looked very nice until I realized her belly was shaved. I specifically told them I didn't want her shaved when I brought her in. I confronted the lady and she said that a typical thing they do for hygiene. Fyi huskies aren't supposed to have the fur shaved . I've had my dog groomed before and never picked her up with half her belly shaved. I was completely dissatisfied and will never go back. Customers should be pleased with there service not come home anxious and sad.

So I took my dog here. However because of covid they constantly have new people. These new people have no business grooming animals. The groomers do not take customers wants into account, they believe they know better about what a client wants. They shaved my dogs long straight haired beautiful tail that was in no way matted or in need of a shave. I specifically told the groomer not to touch his tail which was apparently not ok with her. It is not growing back everywhere and where it is, it is a complete mess. The staff were unhelpful(as the damage was done) and gave no apology. Sadly most of the 5 star reviews are about groomers who have left and were replaced with unqualified idiots.

Did a great job on our dog taz, it took a little bit of time, but considering how busy they were because of black Friday it was completely understandable.Jeremy did a great job grooming her. She's a great pyranese/Saint Benard and had quite a bit of hair, and quite a bit had gotten matted up.All in all, I'd highly recommend this place to anyone. They also offer a mobile service which I will definitely be using from now on!

The day I called they worked me in. Very friendly and KIND! My Emma is older and gets nervous going to the groomer. She only had one groomer that she liked to go to. Rhonda handled my fur baby spa day and when I picked her up she said "I think your baby's old groomer must have given her kisses." She then explained my pup was anxious and scared so rhonda would give her kisses on the nose as she worked on her and by the time she was done emma was playful and lovey with her. She even got a cute Halloween bandana. I will not go anywhere else!!!!!!!! There where 2 other girls in there working that we very sweet as well. One was working on a cat very gently! The foster animals and have a few resident rescues as well! If you are looking for a genuine animal loving gentle kind great groomer go to groomingdales! I could go on and on with how impressed and pleased I am with the care and quality my pup received! Cannot say enough good things about this establishment!

I go here often. Great bunch of people that work here and they take care of my 5 dogs, as if they were their own. The owner genuinely cares for animals. I highly recommend Groomingdales.

First time I went, they were pretty booked but still let me take my walter in and get all dolled up!! Emily is always so kind and walter loves her already, hes only been to groomingdales twice but i love it!! Walter does too!! Already scheduled Walter's next appt as well. Hes usually out within 2 hours which is great and everytime he comes home hes just so excited and walks the walk knowing he just got groomed. Great placeRobert has been doing my walter recently and the family just adores how excited and how positive Walter is when he's out the groomers! Love love love groomingdales!

Drum roll please!!! My first ever 5 star rating given to any business goes to.... Groomingdales!!!! (Demaree & Walnut)I have four female K9's...I have tried different groomers but they are obviously happy when they enter Groomingdales. I could get lengthy about this but I won't. Great people, thanks for making my K9 family happy and looking good.

We have taken our pet to them and he has been locked up for 4 to 5 hour today we call to check on our dog and were took all he had some many fleas, wait we have another dog that we dont take there, and she has not one flea, they are both in the same yard. i will admit he was matted but if you cant get the work done then done book appointments. this is our last trip to this place

My little Lola is very difficult. Rhonda is Great with Lola. My opinion is she is the BEST in Visalia. She groomed my Schnauzer during her life and now my Toy Poodle ❤
