Bought two truck loads of garden soil. Service loading up the truck was quick. The quality of the soil was reflective of what you pay for. It takes from like $30 - $200 a cubic foot. I bought the "NorCal Thunder" for back yard raised beds it did not disappoint.

Worth the easy drive North from Chico! Great selection of custom soil blends, fertilizers, amendments and planting supplies. Bring a 5 gallon container and don’t leave without some compost tea. Super knowledgeable owners and staff.

This place is the best around for all your growing needs. They have a big product selection like literally have everything you need and at the best prices around. They also have a wide selection of soils and dirt you can buy by the truckload. The owners are super knowledgable and can answer any question you have and always have the best suggestions on products depending on your budget and what you are trying to get done. Also the place is nice and clean and they have this super cute dog walking around the shop and I love that! Oh and they have free “tea” for their customers which is a brew of nutrients for your soil and its the best stuff. Another suggestion I have is if you are buying stuff in bulk like molasses or getting “tea” bring your own bucket and you save yourself 10 bucks. They are the nicest coolest people and i recommend them to everyone!

Excellent customer service. Knowledgeable and very helpful. Prices are dirt cheap 😉 The tea they brew and give away to their customers is outstanding. Highly recommend for clueless amateur gardeners or even the experienced ones who know what they want. I never go anywhere else for all my growing needs.

My husband & I went shopping for topsoil in the Chico area this last weekend. We visited several businesses to compare quality & prices & found our best deal at Kinney's nursery. The owners were very kind & professional, & we were really happy with the purchase. When comparing quality of the various topsoils available in all the places we looked, Kinney's had far superior grade topsoil compared to all the others, & their prices are substantially better too. I highly recommend shopping for your topsoil needs at Kinney's Nursery & Topsoil in Vina, CA, which is only about a 15 minute drive from Chico. We will definitely be returning customers.🏡🌞⚘jlp

Such a great business. Searched for a 'bit' of redwood chips. Was so nice to give me some AND special fertilizer! Saved my 25 year old house plant (REALLY 25 years old) was almost dead and down to 1 frond. Now its thriving!!!! Thank you!!!!!

Ordered twice from here first delivery went fine second delivery was 3 hours late driver tried to charge me extra for him getting lost. Couldn't drive soil to where I needed it dropped it off 800 yards away up a hill. Refunded me 75 dollars for the BS even though it took me 8 hours to move soil. Never going there again, get compitent people to work for you so you wont get bad reviews. Horrible service.

We were told they had great topsoil inexpensively. They told me it had no weed seeds. We had many yards delivered. Not only is it FULL of weed seeds, but construction garbage like painted wood. I believe it is toxic, cadmium, lead because my plants died. I broke out in a body rash after dispersing it. I then heard 2 other families used it and lost their gardens planted in this soil. We, and our neighbors now have yards full of weeds that we never had in Paradise. Huge, tall, thorny weeds, at least 4 different ones. It is so awful. One of the biggest mistakes I made. Cheap isn't worth it!

ive used there 115 a yard stuff a couple years in a row and have amazing results. not sure on the other review thats says it killed there plants. did you get the cheapest or maybe not cut it enough if you did get the top shelve dirt. im not sure about the other grades but the 115 a yard is good stuff in the 10 years of me growing

Grabbed 120 yards of barnyyard plus. We opted to mix in a tote of kinneys grow dry amendment. Within two weeks plants were thriving and ready to flip . Delivery was fast and on point .
