CK fish is the best store in So Cal, I’ve been too many stores, and nothing comes close. They literally have everything you need here. The customer service is amazing , they’re not pushy and take time to ask if you need help. They’ll help you out with any questions you have, and if they don’t have the answer they’ll ask another member to chime in. The amount of fish and product here is 2nd to none. They carry high end product, and also don’t neglect new fish keepers who might barely be starting off, or on a budget. This store is friendly to all people of the hobby, from beginner to experts. I can never leave without buying something I don’t even need lol.

When I first came into this place. I felt like I needed a bed just to relax and Lay down and watch the fishes. It’s way better than Petco or Petsmart. I am a new customer there and Peter always helps me out and his staff, with any questions that I have. I just remembered the first reason why I was there was Petsmart recommended Fish world to bring in Fish that I didn’t want. Thanks Peter and his staff. See you guys in a couple days for more stuff!

Ten out of ten best fish store near home. So many shrimps to choose from, I got the cute red and white ones to start a colony. They have everything there and also a cool insta account! Even my mom thought it was really cool in there!

I was wow'd when I walked in. They carry lots of different kind of fish and shrimp as well as all the necessary aquarium supplies. There are also reptiles. If they don't have a specific kind of fish you're looking for, Peter is more than happy to ask his supplier for them. Will be coming back.

Been here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Even after COVID they're still going on strong. They've got a wide variety and have everything you need in stock: equipment, hardscape, live stock, plants, and etc. Went today again and was inspired enough to drop nearly $300 on fish and plants because they had everything I wanted.My only criticism is that they should have some staff focus on maintenance and shop upkeep, while some staff prioritize customers. I had 3 staff members swap out on me today while netting me some fish. And on top of that I waited for minutes to be checked out at the register.Keep it up guys.

Check your receipts before you leave...one yellow shrimp priced at $5.98 was somehow turned into the price of 3. I ended up paying $17 for one single shrimp when the "quantity" on the bag says 3. Perhaps it was a simple mistake, but now it will be my word against theirs. I'm going to call back tomorrow when they're open and explain to them my issue. Will update review to see if they are honorable.

Best. Damn. Fish. Store. Hands down, Bob’s and CK are my go-to fish stores. I live all the way in Eagle Rock and don’t mind the drive to CK as it is my one-stop shop. I can always count on CK to provide my aquatic life stock with the best care and products. RO, CO2, aquatic plants, frags, aquascaping tools, etc. They got it. Even the staff working here have vast array of aquatic knowledge. You know their fish are healthy when you come into the store and see a handful of staff cleaning the tanks. The owner also responds very quickly on Instagram and can provide photos if he’s in-store.

Fish quality good, service is questionable.My water was fine, tested at home, they wouldn’t sell me a fish because my tank had a baby amount of ammonia in an established for a year tank that passed the same water.They made me drive back too many times, never going back.

A great selection of fish, and fish paraphernalia. Extremely friendly and polite staff. Came in today on Black Friday and the place was buzzing. The staff were all working their butts off but remained so calm and fun. I had a great time getting some new fish. Shout out to Peter for going above and beyond. Eddie for also going above and beyond and helping me carry my box to my car and also to the awesome young man who helped net and bag my fish. I’m so sorry I forgot to ask your name, but you called my kuhli loaches noodles and that’s the only thing I’ll refer to them as forever now. Thanks again! Oh! Also I wanted to add that they have the bettas set up in their own little systems with moving water and more space than those little cups and as a Betta LOVER that warmed my little heart!

We drove over an hour away and dealt with Eddie. He was very knowledgeable in freshwater shrimpkeeping and answered all of our questions to the best of his knowledge. He was very patient with me being so indecisive when it came time to select each of the shrimps. He took excellent care of us, when you go in just ask for Eddie and he will take exceptional care of you. This will be our go to fish store from now on. Thanks a bunch!

I love this fish store. every time I go the employees are helpful and kind. I don't go to any other fish store anymore. They have so many products and fish that i simply have no need to go anywhere else. There is also a nifty reward system where you can get discounts on future purchases. Kind of like a punch card!

Definitely one of the best fish stores in SoCal. The store is huge and the quality/health of the fish is very high. People always talk about Tong’s in Fountain Valley being huge with a big selection of fish and all that, but the quality of their fish is lacking and they’re overpriced. CK is huge AND they have very healthy fish with better prices. It’s worth driving almost an hour to get to CK Fish World rather than 20 minutes to Tong’s. I hate the Los Angeles area but I’m still willing to drive out here to go to CK. That’s how good this store is.

this place has the best selection of any fish store I’ve been to so far. Great plants, excellent selection of nano fish, a huge supply of equipment including a tiny HOB filter for a 5 gal tank. My small planted set up is all from CK Fish World
