The older Hispanic lady who wears the ponytail with a face full of makeup looking like a piñata. She is very rude and unprofessional to her customers every time! I feel like she doesn’t like her job she was complaining about still being at work 20 mins before closing rushing and yelling at everyone saying rude comments. Why be in customer service with a bad attitude I’ve had stand in line while she talked about customers behind there back I hate coming to this one .

Most of the help is friendly and they do their best to try to get you out of there as fast as possible when the lines are long.9/4/19Leaving this review because the store might be closed for quite some time it seems that a black pickup truck slammed into the store and caused major damage. As of right now the store has been red tagged and permanently closed till further notice.

(Irene) the cashier low key scares me sometimes kind of bipolar each time we encounter it’s a different vibe depending on how she is feeling with the store .. btw don’t even try to use rewards/savings or ask for bags it lowers her patience for the day.Other than that typical dollar general moving around products on wheels to get what’s needed never seem to put away stock.

Love this store, wish the prices dropped a tiny bit more but other than that this store is great. I also wish there was a weekly AD like Dollar Tree. (RIP)

Angelina.... Was absolutely the type of worker you want to be greeted by when entering a store. She was super polite and fun to talk to, made me laugh quite a bit honestly. Super helpful in regards of asking for assistance, she didn’t even blink and was right on job with helping me find my items! Overall I believe she is outstanding. Clean on the outside clean on the inside, the store itself is very nice looking and very well organized compared to other related stores. I haven't been to this location yet until today and it was great, the customer service reps are good at communicating with one another and as well as prompt to helping. I will definitely return to it when I am in the location. Keep up the good work

The store is remodeled very nicely. The staff here are very kind but there customer lines situation grinds my gears. While I am being an outstanding customer and standing in line for my turn, the elderly or gangster wannabes will not see a line and jump ahead. Will eventually erupt into an altercation. They also should restock while closed for the store 50% of the time has non-stocked boxes everywhere which will eventually injure a customer causing a law suit or termination of employment. Love the store location also.

I love this store for your smaller shopping needs. They just rearranged the entire store on Palmdale and DelGado road. Usually well stocked, customer service is good overall and the prices are decent. You don't have quite as much of the items at a regular grocery store but excellent for the quick trip.

I am a Doordash Driver and just finished shopping for an order for my customer when my suv broke down in front of their store. After an hour, my disabled husband, who was with me at the time, had to use the bathroom due to his IBS, diabetes, and no gallbladder situation. He asked the association he could use it and was told no because the public restroom was not working. I went in to explain the situation and that he was disabled and they store associates, including the assistant manager(who refused to provide her first name) denied it, stating it would pose a "health risk" to them to allow him to use their employee bathroom... only one of the associates was wearing a mask. How is there a health risk when using a restroom but not one when you are FACE TO FACE with customers for your entire shift, unmasked? The logic. Before our request, they also denied a young child and her parents to use the restroom as well. According to their District Manager, BRAD LOHMAN, they are not allowed to allow ANY customers, despite medical condition and emergencies, to use their employee restroom. How can this be a policy to not allow another human to use a restroom, especially when your employees are not wearing masks or gloves to maintain their personal safety, when there is a MEDICAL EMERGENCY? I get it, the associates don't make the rules. But what kind of human permits this to befall another human? Seriously. I will NEVER shop here, recommend this location, or take a Doordash order from here ever again. And I will be making a formal complaint to your poor excuse of a corporation.

People were stocking all the shelves and it was filled with carts but overall it was a quick experience. If you just need to grab a few things and don't want to deal with the big stores. This is a good option.

Just came from the dollar general.. the 1st cashier and another were making a big deal about having to cancel an order.. which making my daughter and I feel bad. Which I replied..I'll get back in line. I don't want to hold anyone up. And when my money transfer went thru. The cashier said.. " o now u wanna buy this" which I went to stand in line and wait for another cashier to helps us out. This time it was a young man.. who was not only very professional and very respectful how he handle the whole situation. He even helped us w the heavy stuff to the car. Didn't catch his name. But I will definitely try next to make sure he gets recognized! I'm in retail and in the nursing Field. So I know how to treat guest.

For a good bargain on practically everything this is the place to go. good construction shirts and gloves. makeup for the ladies. food, snacks, and yes... even beer. The employees there are always nice and helpful. and when there's a line they make sure the open another register and get you going.

Super friendly staff. Great prices. Have just about everything I need from cheap cereal to cleaning supplies to doggie and kitty treats & food to shampoos and they even have clothing. Pretty great store. Again the cashier's are super friendly.

Not very friendly, too many employees with too many mood swings. Employees chatter way too much on the job and need to focus on the store, and it's customers. Needs security. Too many hazards, too much clutter in aisles, sharp objects, and policy when hurt inside the store is over the top, obnoxious and ridiculous, especially when anyone can just take pics and be representing by an attorney. This store needs lots of adjustments, starting with the staff.

A good place to go for a bargain. The aisles are very close together and everything is cluttered, but you won't find better deals on a lot of items here. As the husband of a school teacher, I find that this place is very handy for my wife who constantly looks for activities for her kids. If she needs some things in bulk this place usually has items for inexpensive prices that beat out a lot of others. Easy location to find and close to a lot of residential neighborhoods.

Favorite little store. Wish customer service was better. They have alot of stuff I like to get here. Like walgreens but more convenient. Ik so glad they are finally open again. I get all my natural hair products here.

Staff were incredibly rude and made me feel uncomfortable. I believe because of my boyfriends tattoos or my own we were stereotyped, we were then followed around the store. Very unprofessional and embarrassing. Will never return here; I would have rated a zero if possible.

This store is small in size. Some of th ed or freezers were not working and they had note on them indicating that. What I wanted and needed in could not get because of that. It appears they have been broken for a while. People in the area who can't get to the bigger stores do this store needs to get on the ball.

On 01/05/2020 8:00pm in the dollar general store they had bad customer service. There was a long line and only 1 cashier attending the front of the store. Then she starts to yell for a woman called jessica for so long that she had to stop ringing items up at the register and go look for her because she needed her assistance to open the register, after a few times of going back and forth to the register to look for jessica and not bieng able to find her she said is anyone here as if she was confused to be the only one in the store so then some time passed and people in line were yelling for jessica to come up to the front and help.Then when she gets there shes waiting for a friend or something because she kept going in and out of the store as if waiting for someone to arrive and she didnt even give the customer there receipt that she was ringing up and asked the other cashier to then she charged me for a bag with out asking if i wanted one.

Old staff was friendly and even knew your name. New staff are some what stand offish. Since covid-19 I had been threatened with assault twice, I don't go anymore without a taser in my hand. Both times the people who threatensed assault out weighed me by at least 100 lbs and, were 20 to 30 years younger than I am. I am 63 years old, but a fit and no means intimidated by anyone other then someone pointing a gun.One thing in their favor is that staff will call police immediately upon request, I thank them for that
