I couldn't have imagined a better experience for my beloved Henry. The staff were beyond kind and helpful, and patient and knowledgeable. The facility was comfortable and clean and inviting. They even offered coffee, and sweet waiting rooms. I felt cared for and truly valued as a customer. The surgeon and nurse took over an hour, sitting on the floor explaining the options and different procedures and risks. I never waited more than 10 minutes, and they were beyond accommodating. With all they did to him, he came out looking like he lost a bar fight, and it likely should've cost a mortgage payment, but it was incredibly reasonable. My friend thought it would be double. They were up front about all the costs and explained everything afterwards. I almost want to cry writing this, they took a really scary situation and made me feel so special.. My lil dude too. We will be eternally grateful and loyal to them.. our new fur-ever vet. Thanks Dr. Faro and Amanda and the whole crew!!! xoxo

Green dog dental helped my dog with a really bad tooth fracture she had from chewing bones. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with all of my questions to help me feel comfortable about my dog going into surgery. They did an amazing job and I’m so happy I picked this spot!!

My experience has been excellent from day one, and whenever there is even the slightest glitch, the Green Dog team is on it right away. I am always super nervous about my dog's care and Green Dog is there for me every step of the way. Brittny and Amanda, who are in the Venice location, are always beyond helpful and compassionate, which eases my nerves. I am very grateful for this wonderful establishment. Brody had his teeth cleaned today under very light sedation and is doing well. Thank you all for your kindness. Dr. Geist is a pleasure to have on my health care team for Brody and he is an amazing Vet. You are in very good hands at Green Dog Dental.

Hands down the BEST vet I’ve ever been to in 15 years of owning dogs. I’ve used them twice for dental cleaning and just yesterday for an urgent care matter.They accommodate same day urgent care issues, their clinic is clean and chic, they provide private waiting areas for when you’re dog is being examined, they are quick to come up with a care plan and communicate plans with you immediately, their pricing is reasonable and they walk you through pricing options for different treatment options, and most importantly they genuinely care about your baby and want what’s best for them. I’ve sent several friends here and they have all sang their praises. 10/10 recommend!!

I was a client of this clinic for about a year, but I stopped going. The reason was that I was told my dog suddenly needed to have 13 teeth extracted, even though she had regular dental checkups. When I questioned it, they insisted it was necessary, showed me an x-ray (which I couldn’t interpret), and I felt uneasy. Seeking a second opinion at another clinic, they recommended extracting only one k9 and two small teeth, and it wasn’t an emergency.In contrast to the initial clinic’s diagnosis of 13 extractions, this seemed excessive. Additionally, every time my dog had teeth cleaning there, she seemed stressed, experiencing pain in her back legs. I questioned their practices, and it felt dangerous and cruel. I eventually had the extractions done, but the stark contrast in opinions raised concerns.I caution others to seek different opinions if faced with drastic diagnoses from this clinic. In my experience, they seemed more focused on financial gains than the well-being of pets. Even healthy teeth were suggested for extraction. Be cautious about their recommendations and consider alternative veterinary care.

My 12 yr old 3 pound Yorkie had dental surgery here about 3 weeks ago and as nervous as I was, I have to say everything went great! This was her 3rd time going under anesthesia for a dental cleaning and extractions but our first time at green dog dental. I usually bring my dog to overland vet and her usual vet said her teeth are so bad but since shes so tiny you need to bring her to a specialist. My normal vet didn’t feel comfortable doing the extractions. I found green dog dental and decided to go with them. Lola had 14 teeth pulled, she now has 7 teeth left. She’s recovered really great! The staff was amazing with explaining every detail to me, texting me with constant updates, and answering questions I had at 9pm. Dr. Lau performed the surgery and was great to work with just a little odd she’s not on the website and I originally met with Dr. Geist. But overall, she did an amazing job and she was really easy to communicate with. I kinda wish I got a second opinion because the surgery did cost $4,500 but I know with small dogs it can be a tough surgery to do. I’ve brought Lola to her normal vet and she said her mouth looks great and seems to be healing well. Lola is doing great & she’s back to eating hard food and playing fetch. I would recommend green dog dental but just might be on the more expensive side honestly not 100% sure because I never got a second opinion.Overall, Thanks green dog dental for taking great care of Lola!!

Green Dog is the only building my dog walks into willingly and happily.I have to fight her into the groomer & into her out of state vet's office. Says quite a lot about the kind of love and care she gets at Green Dog.I also have a senior cat who was under the care of another vet for years. When that vet closed, I brought him to Green Dog where they promptly let me know he needed extractions & that his teeth were quite painful to him. I had thought he was just a picky eater, but NOPE, he was in PAIN!! His previous vet never said a thing about his teeth even though I asked about them every visit!After the extractions my sweet boy eats triple what he used to and is looking shinier & healthier. It breaks my heart that he had to wait so long for proper care. The surgeon at Green Dog did an impeccable job.

The Front Desk team is very helpful and accommodating. Dr. Moffitt had never seen Luke before and was very interested in his overall health. He spent time with us to get an understanding about his conditions. While Luke gets very stressed at the vet, it was as pleasant an experience as it could be. Thanks!

WORST CLINIC EVER! That is my first bad review about smth at allPlease DO NOT visit this clinic to save your mental health and your moneyHere is my situation if you are interested than read and make your own conclusionsSo i made an appointment for NON ANESTHETIC dental cleaning for my old Chihuahua and took a day off to comeI asked several times if the 220$ a full sum and they said yes of course, 220 is total sum!So They took my dog for cleaningThen the doctor came out and said that they won’t be able to do cleaning without sedation ( that costs extra 150$ and nobody DID NOT WARN ME ABOUT this possibility on the phone ). I was a little bit surprised because previously we cleaned his teeth without any anaesthesia and seduction at all for his whole life. he is calm dog. Nobody never done him even light sedationI was against sedation for my old dog with heart issues and allergies ( so they said they won’t be able to do the cleaningOkay. I thought no problem we will find another clinic. They gave me my dog and on the receptionist told me that I need to pay 90$!!!!!! Like for what ? They said that was the price for checking his health that i Didn’t asked for, we have our own doctor that can check it for free!!!( previously I sent them all the analyses they might have need)I came to this clinic just to clean his teeth without anaesthesia and that’s it ( there is absolutely NO NEED in listening his heart and lungs for 90$ before NON ANAESTHETIC dental cleaning)But I lost my time, money, nerves and didn’t get anythingI asked for manager but all that manager said that i just need to payAs a bonus after this situation I had a breakdownSO thank you for understandingThat’s my worst experience EVER

I am writing this review after almost a year as my experience still bothers me. I brought my dog Jake here and was assured that the doctor I reviewed his case with would be performing the extractions. Not only was this not the case (a doctor I never heard of or spoke with did the work), the cost for 11 extractions was over $3,000 and my little dog had too much anesthesia leading him to howl and cry like I’ve never heard in my life. I will never return to this clinic as they are out for the money and your requests are seen as unimportant. Seeing my dog so out of it and crying was just the worst.

They’re a complete joke! Don’t waste your money; they will say your dog needs anesthesia which they don’t to clean the dogs mouth. then they advise to extract their teeth. A complete waste of money.

I’ve brought my GSD here three times and had a great experience each time. He’s had a dental cleaning under anesthesia in April 2023. They really did try without it first though! But I already figured they would need to use sedation because he gets a little nutty without me to calm him down. The pricing was fair in my opinion - $408. VCA wanted over $1000.I came back a couple months later for two vaccines - $40. They were quick and painless with him.The third time was recently. $457 for: exam (he had a lump I wanted evaluated), heartworm test, labs (I requested, they didn’t push me to do it), and a 6 month supply of Simparica. Really fair pricing in my opinion. And they take really good care of my doggy!Staff is ALWAYS nice. The facilities are amazing and the waiting area is fantastic so that you can do work while waiting for your pet. Free wifi! Really helpful :)

I trusted this place for years to do my dogs teeth cleaning since it didn't require anesthesia and the the price was affordable. Eventually they said they couldn't clean my dogs teeth and they'd have to remove half his teeth. I trusted them and did the surgery. Again I go back for cleaning then they say they can't do the cleaning and have to remove more teeth, possibly the remaining ones left. Everything costs a penny from blood work to x-rays all of which they have to do prior to surgery yet can make the claim they need to pull teeth. I took my dog to another vet and after deep cleaning they said no teeth needed to be removed and it was just very deep buildup that needed to be removed. Always get a second opinion and it makes me question if they needed to remove half my dogs teeth the first time around.

Loved this experience! It’s super clean, friendly and professional. You have your own waiting room, they don’t rush intake and make sure your pup is comfortable. I really appreciated the service here and anyone in Santa Monica, I highly recommend!
