Coolest vintage clothing shop in LA! Animal House is my go to for vintage clothing. Every time I come in they have new items. I a HUGE fan of old vintage concert tees, and Animal House has some really cool clothes. I wish I could make it down here more often, but any time I come to Venice, I make sure to put Animal House on my itinerary.

The Vans no show socks I bought here are so comfortable and stay on my feet while wearing sneakers or dress shoes. I also recommend checking out a pair of the Stance brand socks. These are high quality, provide extra cushion and are designed w/ cool looking patterns.

This place is super cool. Stopped by for the first time today. I loved their selection of old Levis, Lees, and Carhartt especially. I'm docking one star because though I think most of their prices are reasonable, I noticed they were trying to sell a pair of Liberty overalls for $79 when the same pair is still available on Liberty's website for $45. I ended up leaving with a great Carhartt winter coat for $79 and a cashmere sweater vest for $39. Would definitely come back again and recommend checking it out if you're in Venice!

I have been shopping here for about 3 years now. 9 pairs of vans (gifts included), 3 pairs of Vintage OP shorts and tons of new items including a special order for something they didn't carry but could get. A while back, I had bought a pair of Vans earlier in the day and at the time seem to fit well. I wanted to wear them to an opening that night but quickly realized they were a bit tight. I knew they closed at 7pm. I hit there around 7:30 and they had just locked up the store and the security gate. They re-opened the store and grabbed me the right size without hesitation. Ronnie and Kaitlyn (plus staff and Ronnie's son, Spencer) are always upbeat, care about the community and service is always top notch. I pop in for a quick conversation a few times a week and definitely consider them good friends. They will even watch my stuff (keys) when I go for a run on the beach. A must visit for locals and tourists alike.

Love the family feel of the space and the positive energy that comes from every visit. Such an amazing collection of vintage and new clothes and shoes. My favorite cotton collective shirts and Vans shoes are from here. Ronny, the owner for the last 30+ years, is a staple to Venice beach. Funny, caring, and has an eye for what you're looking for!
