This is my go-to Petco. They are always so helpful, knowledgable and friendly whenever I go there. I love shopping for all the things I need for my cats there. I really don't go anywhere else.

I got 2 guinea pigs there I love them and it was nice seeing the selection of animals. Sadly the animals rarely were adopted. But I love watching them and buying the food for my pigs. Because they whistle to me and get so excited!

Do not bring your pets here!They get manhandled by the employees. This location does not care about your pets. I saw a groomer mistreating a small white dog. They should close this location! I let management know and they brushed it off. Stay away

Evidently customer service is not a priority at this location. Purchased an item less than 90 days ago on 9/18/23 and never used it, so wanted to return it. Their policy is 60 days for returns and would not even return it for store credit. Item is still carried at the location. They have lost a customer for life over $27. Was recommend PetSmart for future purchase.

I’ve been here twice and both times they didn’t have what I was looking for even though it was on their website. They don’t restock often enough so many of the tanks and cages are empty. It is a nice store though and the isles are always organized and kept clean. They don’t have a variety of equipment for fish. And keep in mind they are always 30% more expensive than other stores selling the same items. There’s always plenty of parking and a target store is across the street.

Every time I go into this location the staff are always very informative and friendly. This location has a vast variety of pet supplies and food. This is my go to location for any needs regarding my pets. Thanks Petco!

I'm sorry I don't recall the PETCO guy's name as he was very helpful Sunday afternoon! I was looking for the 100 pp-pads on sale for $19⁹⁹, but was unable to find them on the shelf w/the other pads. He looked on his phone, looked in the back, then we found them up front after his suggestion that they may be there. I thanked him more than once➧ then promptly purchased the pp-pads. I wish I knew his name because he deserves a pat on the back!

DO NOT GO HERETotally Rude Manager, oh so he said Giovanni is his name. I had a stray cat in my car, he had a super long line. Only one other cashier that was helping someone. The guy had a 10 min conversation with a girl who was not buying anything or was done, with a VERY long line behind me. I explained that i have a stray cat I am trying to give shelter too because the night was rainy and cold, and I needed to hurry to pay and get out and can he please ring me up while he was talking. The dude started to ring me up SUPER SUPER SLOW, Then I said, can you please hurry, im really worried about my car. The guy stopped, raised his voice to me and said " I DONT LIKE YOUR TONE" infront of customers, and said, I dont have to sell you anything. While yelling. So bad that I had other customers come out to the parking lot to not only tell me how unprofessional he was, but that he was also fistpumping the guy behind me in line about his poor behavior and laughing about it and at me afterwards. I told him this is just my tone, its how i speak and ive been standing there for over 10 min while he was literally JUST TALKING. I had to go. How else could I have expressed it other than to express my concern and that I needed to go. Anyhow, If you want people to be TOTALLY RUDE to you and be totally unprofessional and make fun of you. Please go to this location. That was crazy. When there is a super long line, they shouldnt be having conversations with people while letting the line just get bigger in my opinion and shouldnt be rude. I asked him what I said that was rude, and this kid said ITS YOUR TONE. So I didnt actually say anything rude to the guy except I really need to go, im desperately worried about this cat going to the restroom in my car with the length of time im keeping it in there while he was chit chatting.

We went to get socks for our dogs back foot, per our vets advice for something, and we ended up at this location. Not only did they have the perfect pair of socks, they had everything else we needed too, and things we didn't need but enjoyed looking at- like a huge selection of awesome Halloween outfits for your fur babies! The store is stocked very well with everything you can think of, and the staff was super friendly. Good job guys. We'll be driving to your location all the time! (Btw...The socks are working out perfectly to protect those sensitive paws of his)👍

Multiple times the groomers have done a sub par job on my puppy. This past visit a male took care of our dog and we paid for a bath and haircut (and tipped generously). The bath is supposed to come with expressing anal glands, nail clipping, and a few others. Our dog gets returned to us not having his anal glands expressed, and his already long nails just not even cut at all. On top of that the haircut is by far the worst he’s had yet. So I call petco and the guy who took care of my dog answered the phone, since I believe there is only one male who is a groomer there. I tell him what happened and he says that they don’t express anal glands unless specifically asked for, even though it says it’s INCLUDED in the package. I’m not sure if he/they know what included actually means, since if something is included, you don’t need to ask for it. The groomer clearly just didn’t want to do his job. Also brought up the nails and he just said “oh we must have forgot”. Then he offered for us to drive all the way back to the store and have the services done. We were not about to drive 10 minutes both ways to have our dogs nails clipped and anal glands expressed, it should have been done the first time. I already had a suspicious feeling this place NEVER bothered to express anal glands, as well as cut other corners. Will not be bringing our dog back to this location. The guy on the phone said he would credit our account after I asked for it, since I was the one who ended up expressing his anal glands and clipping his nails after the fact. I’ve scheduled one more appointment at another petco, and if we are told there’s no credit on our account, which is what we are suspecting, then we will never use any petco for anything ever again.

Ghost☆Face LOVES his new lick Matt, It was in the grooming section because it's supposed to be a distraction For when he is getting groomed or whatever.. it's cool because it has little tiny suction cups on the back too so u can have it suctioned up against a shower glass door or anywhere else that can hold a silicone suction..

This petco was awesome it was very clean and the shelves were nicely organized. I came in to buy some fish and they have a very big aquatic section that is beautifully decorated. I loved that their tanks were clean and the water was clear plus I did not see any dead fish floating around it gave me great confidence in purchasing from them. The staff was friendly I was greeted upon entry and when i needed help I was able to find a staff member fairly quickly.

The staff at the grooming counter was very helpful. We have recently arrived in CA after traveling across country, and all the change has not been easy on our Portuguese Water Dog - she's been a bit more shy than usual. They treated her like a princess, so naturally she went with them willingly :)

I enjoy maintaining a fresh water aquarium in my kitchen. I also had one in my room but it can get messy. Petco offers a wide variety of fresh water tropical fish but some of the price points are a bit high. I do enjoy their sales time to time. They have a person that's dedicated to the fish section -- that's great customer service. Sometimes you have to ask for it. Overall, it's a good place for pet supplies.

I've taken my Schnauzer to many groomers, but for some reason, no one can do the skirt on her like Christopher does. He is amazing! He also does my other pups cuts, and always leaves him looking fluffy and soft

I originally bought my first hamster at a different PetCo location. However, I really enjoy coming to this specific location because of the employees who make an effort to remember customers who come often. They are super nice and helpful, ensuring I find exactly what I need with advice to help me out. Giovanni is easily one of my favorite employees who helps me every time I see him. He helped me adopt a DJ hamster with help of the manager, who is a super nice and knowledgeable woman. I recommend coming here as I know I will be coming back for sure.

Always the best experience at Petco on Sepulveda. Today my boyfriend and I came in to grab a few items for our hamsters and we were helped out by Joseph at checkout. Super sweet guy, and was very patient when we found a great deal online to price match. All the staff at this location are great and knowledgeable about animals!
