Great store, decent collection of food, cleaning supplies, pet products, toys, crafts, and cosmetics. Great deals. I got an 8 pack of black pens for $1. A standard pack of 4 pens at Staples is $4.99. I saved $9 on what would be 8 pens. I love it and it’s the perfect place to take your family and buy good products for less!

This store is ok. The customer care could use a bit of work. It's a little hard to make your way around the store, there are usually boxes or racks you have to make your way around. But on the upside they have a pretty decent selection of art supplies,house supplies, pet stuff, and snacks

It's just okay. You have to understand that when you're shopping at a deep discount store the company doesn't invest a lot of money in frills or letting their employees know that they really care about them. Having been in retail it's always easy for me to spot someone when they've had no training, and little or no corporate support. Undoubtedly they're underpaid as well and it's not easy work. Any complaints regarding staff must be looked at in this light. I found my cashier to be absolutely wonderful. It was an old-fashioned retail experience in that I was greeted, eye contact was made, my order was rung up efficiently and accurately. And I was thanked. Aren't you just sick and tired when the customer thanks the clerk and the clerk turns and says, "No problem"???

Nice selection, but it's like sardines in a can most days. They should hire night stockers, instead of employees having to start stocking, then leaving huge aisle blockers pretty much anytime you come in. You can barely get 2 baskets passed each other without obstruction, let alone when they have products sitting there jamming up traffic. You have to back up sometimes like a one way. It's like San Francisco driving.

I love variety of items. I can usually find what I need or want. But feel like today’s events with checking out to be unpleasant. Felt rushed and almost like a bother to the checker. Tried to bring my experience to the manager and was met with even more disappointment. Felt that my comment was disregarded when brought to her attention.

I think Dollar Generals are a joke those people are making people think you're going to go in there and spend a buck for each item When its generally a dollar to get started and makes a person think they can purchase items for a dollar. Some cool stuff but you can more than likely buy better quality items at the store where name brand items are distributed plus more than likely a cheaper price

Good variety, clean but horrible customer service. About 4 people working all made eye contact and would be in the same aisles as them no-one greeted me, did not feel very welcomed. Asked a cashier if he could check the price for me he starred at the item and asked me "do you want me to guess cause i don't know" also his phone rang he checked it and ignored me to look at his phone. I asked if the prices were coming off since they had a clearance event advertised all over the store he said yes, walked out noticed nothing was discounted went back told him he got his manager she was going to fix it then he said well that sale starts tomorrow. This boy knew the sale event started tomorrow and knew the prices weren't going to change so when i asked about the discount instead of informing me the sale hasn't started yet he just said yes. Also they put up the signs for the event way early (i went in around 3-4) ive always been taught (retail management experience 5+ years) if you put up signs early expect to override prices to avoid angry customers, which is why you wait to put up all your sale signs but i wasnt going too be that person. But they refused to honor the prices instead the manager wanted me to come back tomorrow and then she'll give me the difference back but i have to work and i don't live in that town im not going out of my way for their mistake, i returned the items they weren't that important but the whole experience just boggled me. I rarely went there anyways but now i don't think ill be back.

My experience was poor there were 4 cashiers in the register and only one open 3 of them talking and of the register that was open had of returned my waiting time was twenty five minutes and plus when they opened the 2 register they ignored me and get the next two customer what kind of service they offer they need to have more management and customer service that why I didn't give 1 star

Like a mini Walmart! Not bad. Best to go before or after four as there’s an afternoon rush. Have found some cool deals here. Great for basket making gifts!

The place is dirty doesn't look like they sweep at all and rude!!! Will not be coming back the manager was very rude making me try and feel bad because I didn't want an item and told well it's only a $1 just get it! Save yourself a trip avoid this place I rather go to Jackson to the dollar store at least they aren't rude.

Large supply of just about anything you could possibly need or want in a bind or other wise. Fun to look at inexpensive items. Very nice people who work here. And they can direct you to what ever you need.

I have to say I wasn't sure if I was going to like having Dollar General in my town.. but I have been in several times and have always found what I am looking for on a budget.. keep those prices low and those great deals coming..

The store is a huge mess, very unorganized which makes it harder to shop and a lot of merchandise is not priced on the shelves. It's always a very long wait in line at the registers but the employees are always nice.

Good place wide variety of things a shopper might need that you don't want to pay a high price in a high Mark up store (grocery stores) will exchange items or store credit I don't mind that.

Worse customer service! Cant move around the store. Always a long line with one checker. You will never see a smile in any workers face here! If I could do a negative rating it would be -5
