Visit this place, you won't be disappointed! They have so many delicious cheese to try (get the cheese flight to try them all!), plus they offer the creamiest soft serve, and even have wine/beer and lunch items and pastries too. Truly something for everyone! :) When you're there, talk to Karen - she's the best! Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

As a cheese lover, I'm always excited by creameries and cheese shops when I'm traveling. We stumbled upon the Valley Ford Cheese and Creamery. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the friendly staff behind the counter. Despite it being a popular spot, there was plenty of parking out front and in the back which made things convenient for our caravan.Once inside, we enjoying tasting some cheeses before making our selection from the diverse array. Everything was delicious and fresh.Whether you sit out under the picnic tables or grab some things for the road, the Valley Ford Cheese and Creamery is now on our list of places to stop on the way to the Bodega Bay area.

The aged cheddar was very good. Not a big selection of cheese but the other items offered were amazing. Beautiful presentation, even the pre-made salads in the deli case. Great selection of non perishable picnic supplies.

Berry focaccia 🍓with their sweet cheese is bomb. The savory focaccia is made with their Highway 1 cheese if you are into that. But my favorite chunk of cheese is their Estero Gold Reserve. They were offering samples and I was hooked.Other highlights besides the two aforementioned: pesto cheese knots, pimiento cheese (made with a blend of 3 of their cheeses), cheese curd sampler! The scones are pretty good. Got the Gravenstein apple one last time as those were season when I last went. Overall, their pastries and cheeses are the stars of the show!Things that I thought were alright:Their sandwiches are a bit pricey for what you get. The fried chicken in my sandwich was good but the breading was falling off and there isn’t much of it. The sandwich that is really lacking is the pastrami. It really doesn’t have that much cheese and without that gooey goodness, there’s much to be desired. I wouldn’t mind shelling out a bit more for more sustenance. The potato salad, pickled vegetables, and chips are all amazing sides though. In that order. The deviled eggs are the smooth and silky type which isn’t the type I like, a bit sour too.Since people raved about the soft serve, tried that but it wasn’t anything special. You can get it as an affogato.Large seating area with two rooms and outside tables as well.

Nice storefront at Valley Ford. They are open for pick up of ready make cheese boards with some crackers. They also have a good selection of their cheese although it is in a cooler on the side. They do also have food for order, but their kitchen is not open until 10:30AM so they do brunch but not breakfast although the store is open at 8AM. Parking is ample. Worth a trip if you happen to be in the area.

This place really pays attention to every tiny detail and takes pride in their food. We shared the tuna melt (with the freshest bread, big chunks of tuna, and grapefruit slices!) & The green goddess soup (which tasted fresh and green, a perfect embodiment of spring ). The cheesy bread served alongside the soup was particularly yummy. And service was sincere and warm ❤️ I'll definitely be back to try the fried chicken sandwich and their pastries!

Michelin quality food in a picnic-like delivery. Valley Ford Cheese pays incredible detail to both the flavor and the quality of their food and it really shows! Their prized cheese, Estero Gold, though not earth shattering, is a delicious and reliable cheese option that everyone will love. The tuna melt was amazing and packed with bright flavors and textures. My only gripe is that they forgot the potato salad but I was too engrossed in the food to even notice until after we left. So no harm done! The soup and cheese bread was a perfect side. So bright and flavorful. I can’t wait to visit again! Definitely make this a must stop if you’re on the coast.

Valley Ford Cheese and Creamery is a great spot to pick up delicious local cheeses. You can sit down and have a meal or pick up some cheese to go. My favorite was the fontina cheese but you cannot go wrong with any of the cheeses in their selection. They also sell a great array of jams, candles, and other goods. This is definitely a great place to visit.

4th visit here, great place for a nice lunch with a nice outside area to enjoy it. Menu is limited but there is always something that will call you in. Today we did the albacore tuna melt which was hella tasty and the garden veggie grilled cheese which was also good but way outshined by the tuna melt. Each sandwich comes with sides, we chose potato salad and pickled veggies (beets, pickles and carrots) and two local brews from Barrel Brothers in Windsor. We usually dine outside on a nice day but it was a bit to "farm fragrant" today and we we decide to eat inside where it was warmer and more appealing to the senses. They offer a lot of quick lunch here to take to go, as well as awesome cheeses of course. Highly recommend picking up some cheese and maybe even some cheese curds. A good selection of salads from Jacobson as well as ice cream, soups, cookies and all that. All around a great pit stop!

Ordered the vf grilled cheese and a caramel latte. This place is a gem. I finally happened to pass by on a day it was open and had to stop! So glad I did! The grilled cheese has kimchi in it and it was delish! Coffee was made perfectly. They offer free samples of various cheeses and have a little refrigerated area with pre made sandwiches and deserts. Worth a stop if you’re hungry off the highway 1.

My family and I discovered Valley Ford Cheese and Creamery about two years ago on a drive out to the coast..we absolutely love it! Everytime we are on our way to Bodega, we make sure to make the stop in. The thing that always captures my attention is the cleanliness and organization of their shop and the selection of fine cheeses and goodies that they have to snack on. My mama is always enamored with the affogato and I just love their coffees, yum! If you want some amazing cheeses, good atmosphere for lunch, and a fun stop on the way to the coast, give them a holler 🧀🙌

Amazing stop on the cheese trail! This was by far our favorite! Such a nice, cozy place with very friendly staff. We loved that they had a small cheese flight available for sampling. Be sure you save room for ice cream because they have THE BEST soft serve!

My family and I stopped at this place before hitting up Bodega Bay Oyster Company. We were so glad we stopped by!We looked at the baked goods and knew we had to get the focaccia. We also ordered one of their grilled cheese sandwiches and this bread baked pear (I think it was also a focaccia, but I can't remember).Everything was so delicious! Their focaccia is the best I've ever had. And the baked pear was amazing! It was baked with cheese and honey; also the best baked pear I've ever had. The grilled cheese was loaded with mushrooms and vegetables, which was comforting on a cold day.We left to engorge ourselves with oysters, but we knew we had to go back to Valley Ford because they brought out apricot milk bread as we were leaving. We got three more focaccias and three milk breads. Sadly, the person ahead of us got the last baked pear. The atmosphere is very casual and very welcoming. Everyone who worked there had a smile. After ordering up front, there are tables in the back to dine. Also, one side of the store has food to go, including their award winning cheeses, and the other has kitchen items. Definitely get their cheese to go. They were delicious! If you're around Petaluma/Bodega Bay, definitely make a stop here at Valley Ford.

Great place with super friendly staff and high quality products, meals and beer. Unusual and delightful deviled eggs, best prosciutto this side of San Daniele (and I’ve been there). Lots of other good stuff. Go visit The Children’s Bell Tower in Bodega Bay for a moving experience.

The tuna melt will blow your taste buds, the milk is fresh from the white and chocolate cows. Seriously try their cheese it is off the hook. If anything just stop for the ice cream. And tell the ladies it's a Goldendoodle service dog says hi.Truly Happy cows.

The staff was very nice! The affogato was a game changer! It is espresso with vanilla soft serve! Amazing! The scones were alright. The lemon Poppy seed knot was a few bites of lemon heaven! If you're there, do it!I have just cracked open the pimento cheese I bought. It is quite tasty. I would suggest it.

Really cool little spot, great stop on the way back from Sonoma Coast, I highly recommend the soft serve, it's very thick and rich and completely different than any other soft serve I've had.

Delicious tritip sandwich! Strawberry rhubarb lemonade was on point. I also got the bread pudding to go for dessert back at the camper.
