We have worked with Les since our dog Luna was 8wks old. Les has guided us each step of the way. Luna is now 11 months and is turning out to be an amazing dog. He has taught her and us all the basic commands and was always a phone call or email away if we needed help with anything in between lessons. His training techniques can be applied anywhere from busy city streets to vet visits to encounters with other animals and children. Les even helped with the introduction between our 10 year old yorkie mix and Luna. I loved how caring he was toward Luna during training. Les even encouraged us to bring my 8 year old nephew to training as well, which has paid off amazingly with the twos relationship. Asa and I highly recommend anyone needing with help training any dog from puppy or older to check out Les at grateful Pets. thank you so much Les!!!

We are so grateful for Grateful Pets! Sheryl and Les took excellent care of our dog during an extended stay over the holidays. We checked out a few places in the area and are so glad we chose Grateful Pets. It was a perfect fit for us and we will definitely be coming back for daycare and overnights in the future.

My Aussie “Abby” and I have been working with Grateful Pets for several years. Les is a patient, attentive and dedicated trainer; his instruction has been invaluable helping me learn to manage what started out as a wildly energetic pup 5 years ago! We also count on Sheryl’s expert grooming to keep Abby trimmed up and sticker free. Abby has boarded with them many times, and is clearly loved like a member of the family. We are so grateful to have these wonderful folks nearby, and highly recommend them!

I have taken my dogs to Sheryl for many years. She is amazing as a groomer. I highly recommend her. In addition her husband Les is a dog trainer. I hired him a few years ago when I adopted a new dog and already had 2 at home. He helped teach me how to introduce a new dog into my home. They are an amazing team. Check them out.

Les and Sheryl are not only experts in providing the environment that you have dreamed of for your dear pets, but they are also experts in helping your pet feel secure, challenging your pet to enjoy the time away from you, and to get exercise that is tempered for your pet's age and ability! Our aging sweet Ravi, golden retriever, loved coming to their homestead.Sometimes, he didn't want to go home with us! He would say hi and turn back to see what action he had missed. We look forward to taking our next dog to them for their careful care.

I house and Pup sit for my Aunt and Uncle frequently. Grateful Pets with their dedication and love of fur babies has made the experience a phenomenal joy. By helping the Pup to understand her manners and giving me a place to bring her when I am working there is no better. I am so thankful my Aunt found them several years ago.

I visited grateful pets today for them to meet my dogs and hopefully set an appointment for them to get groomed. I have two blue nose pitbulls, a male who is 6 and a female who is 8. Les and his wife came out with face masks, which I don’t blame them due to the SIP but I do believe they scared my dogs. My dogs started barking, but all they did was bark. While they were barking they were still wagging their tails, showing they were happy. Instead of petting them and trying to get to know them, Les right away turned us down. I am disappointed he did not give the dogs a chance. I know there is a stereotype for pitbulls to be aggressive but if they would have taken the time to meet my dogs and actually interact with them, they would have realized my dogs do not fit the stereotype.

I am so pleased with the care Twist receives when he is in the care of Sheryl and Les. I have a Puli and Sheryl spends hours with him at grooming. He is also taking advantage of their daily doggie care. He has a blast interacting and socializing with the other dogs. I've also have Twist board when I have to go out of town. I know he's in great care and don't worry about him.
