I was able to find what I needed easily and the store seemed more organized and stocked fully. I was able to maneuver a cart around without difficulty. This has been an issue in the past but I had no problems yesterday. I should note that I have mobility issues and it was nice that everything was accessible this time. I was in and out in a jiffy.

We’ll put together store. This one seemed actually adequately staffed, which is surprising because petco corporate seems to habitually understaff. They had fresh cat grass which we got - most of the times they’re dead or dying. Cats enjoy it.Saltwater fish section was a bit sad to look at as it’s overgrown with algae - but the petco systems always seem a bit poorly taken care of. They need to invest more in an aquatics team.

Bought pre packaged "imagitarium crickets", 36 count for a little over $7 incl tax. Dumped into larger container and counted when I got home - 13 plus 1 dead. Needed them in a hurry due to going out of town for several days, so no time to go back to store. Did have time to warn others, here, though :( ***2 stars added for owner's response. Will check to see if the problem is actually taken care of next time we're in and will update review accordingly.

I love Petco. I don't love that they sell pets beyond Goldfish. However, everyone in this store is always kind & helpful. I think the staff are all pretty young. The store stays clean & stocked. They seem pretty knowledgeable about things I ask. I really like spending time in here going through little outfits for my puppers. My puppers probably wish the staff would lock me out! 😂

Aaron and another gentleman that work there were by far the most helpful and knowledgeable people I have ever ran into not only did we walk away with so much helpful information but also with an amazing experience, very helpful associates. The only thing I can say is there was one woman working there with like light brown hair in a ponytail who was extremely unprofessional. I was with my three children and she had an accident with some items that were made out of glass and it seemed like she was playing around when she kind of slammed the cart carrying those items and dropped them all and the continued to yell at the cashier using slur words while she was the one who made a mess. Definitely not a good moment especially if there are elementary aged children around and you have glass all over the ground and are using profanity and showing signs of frustration towards other employees

Today Sunday 22th I shopped at here, and it was the worst posible experience I could have.. the young male cashier didn’t want to open the locker for an item that I needed, said that the manager had the keys and he was on break, then another employee said that the locker was not functioning.. so I didn’t know the truth about thatThe cashier had a terrible attitude like he didn’t wanted working, emotionalessOmg just terribleI just hope that the manager does something about this

I had the best experience at Petco Vallejo. Lizzy took such great care of my puppy. It was her first time at a groomer. She was also very patient and kind towards me because I have been grooming my dog at home, but apparently not doing it correctly. I felt like a bad dog owner, but she made me feel comfortable and gave me some tips. We make sure to book Foxys next appointment and spoke about care plans moving forward. I was extremely satisfied with the care and attention that was given to both me and my baby Foxy.

They had what I needed and the cashier Arian was very nice. 11/10/23They had most everything I needed. But, no one asked me if I needed help. You'd think they'd hire more people for the holidays. There's just no one there to help you.But... I was watched... Hum...12-8-2022It wasn't busy at all. Hardly had any dog beds. Personally I liked it more the was it use to be set up. But I don't go into the store to shop as much as I use to. Sometimes ordering on line is just easier to do.

I can only speak on their aquatics department. I came here to check out their selection of Betta fishes. I was surprised to see how well maintained the store was. I'm used to the aquatics departments of these stores being quite sad. Props to the employees here.

I've been taking my dog every two weeks for a petacure to reduce the quick on her long nails. I was puzzled as to why the nails were getting longer. I finally realized they were doing very little on the nails if anything.. so I took it on myself and in just a little over a week I have made great progress. I've been wasting my money and hurting my dog by going to petco for nail care. Sigh.

I love Petco, because I love my pets, and this place has just about everything to keep your pets happy, I only wished they weren't so expensive! I think they take advantage, because we will buy anything for our special pets, other than that, I'm happy that the store is always kept clean and staff is very friendly.
