Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and takes care of all the animals they have. I got two of my pet rats from here and have had no problems with them. The staff informed me on the rat's background before I decided on the ones to take home.

Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I take care of reptiles and fish and from what I can tell they are healthy here. Here is a pic of one of my tanks. The betta and all the plants were bought from the pet shoppe and have been doing great!

I've been coming here for over a year to get feeder rats for my snake. The staff is always so polite, even when they're a bit busy! I've never had any problems. The shop is clean and the animals are well taken care of. ^-^ Phil, my corn snake, approves, haha.I also love saying hello to Houdini!

What a cool Pet Shoppe I am so glad Petco was out of crickets.! Well worth the drive from Napa. So many great reptiles and fish all displayed excellent and very clean. Very friendly owners. We will definitely be back.

One of the best Pet Stores in Vallejo. Everyone is so friendly and they have a lot of knowledge and experience with all types of animals. You can see the love they have for the animals in the pet store. Everytime I go it feels like a trip to a zoo. Beautiful animals everywhere. Sometimes they will allow you to pet the birds or reptiles. Very family friendly, my kids love coming here.

Love this place. Plants and succulents as you first walk in. They take really good care of their pets. Prices are reasonable. Great service! Got a new member of the family, an adult guinea pig and super worms. The pig is healthy even his nails are trimmed. The super worms are great, none dead and the container had good for them in it as a standard. Easy location to find.

Don't let the looks fool you. Knowledge staff and a good veriety of animals can be had here. Price point isn't great, but you don't need to worry about your purchase dying the next day either. If you nred product come here the big box store might be cheaper, but this place is where you come if you want healthy critters.

I recently popped in here, on a whim when i needed feeders for my T. I was blown away at the extreme high standards maintained at this store! Excellent selection of reptiles, small mammals, and fish. But best of all was there selection of exotic T's!! I got my dream arachnid, and an enclosure that provides space and security. It's clear that these people truly care for the animals, and their well being. I became instant friends with the proprietors and staff. They have earned my business forever. I cannot recommend enough...

Friendly staff, and competitive prices. New owner took over right at the start of covid, so it's been nice to see him hang in there during the toughest of times and now expanding inventory as the pandemic recedes. Shaping up to be a nice place! Definitely drop in and check them out.

Dale and Erin are awesome! I got my Sun Conure from them, and they've been great for supplies for him as well as my snakes. The only place I know of to buy live feeder rodents!

I wanted to quickly purchase a few goldfish. Fortunately, they were open and had plenty of options. There was a very helpful and friendly staff member, I believe his name is Terrance. He was a nice knowledgeable young man. Great mom and pop local store with great customer service and unbeatable prices. I'd prefer them over Petco any day.

My family is taking care of a class pet (box turtle). The enclosure for her needed to be replaced and we needed fresh substrate. Did an internet search and found this place. Talked to them on the phone and decided to go check it out. Both of the Pet Shoppe employees were great! Customer service was amazing, even when they started to get busy, they excited themselves renewed to other customers and came back to us. They took their time with us and we never felt rushed. We really felt cared for. Very knowledgeable. Ended up spending quite a bit of time there. Got all of our questions answered. We got all of the equipment needed for our class box turtle which seemed much happier with her new set up.We learned about how they put on animal education workshops for the local school. And how they take on youth volunteers to help and learn more about how to take care of animals that they are interested in.We will be coming back and getting our pet supplies and maybe our next pet from the Pet Shoppe. We totally recommend this place!

Loved this shop! Pedro was SO helpful and nice. We just adopted a baby bearded dragon and wanted to feed him something other than crickets. He helped me pick the right worm option. Will definitely be coming back!

This place is great! It's filled with life, rats, snakes, birds, fish, and even a bunny! We bought a pet mouse, a hopper, and we were planning on having it live with our other two female mice. Then we discovered he was a rambunctious male, and we returned him, and the man completely agreed, no arguing, like it should be. We didn't get his name, but I can only describe him as the man with a red and black cap. :)

The owner and staff here are true reptile people. Best in vallejo for reptiles. And another awesome fact is they sell pinhead crickets which are unavailable everwhere else in the area. I return to the shop every week and will continue

Kind staff and very good customer service. Great deals on supplies too!Some time ago I was overcharged on a purchase and didn’t realize it until I got home. When I called about it they apologized and promptly arranged for a refund. Very happy to have them in town! (I hope to get chicks from them some time in the near future when and if they have any.):)

This pace is so good it’s small but it has so much animals. And so much foods for the animals and also the people are so nice and funny and I got a pet bird and it’s so healthy but the bad thing about this shop is that it’s kind of a Depressing. Some of the birds are scared and there Feathers are dropping off of them and also the fish tanks are kind of messed up. But it’s still a good place. Good bye and I hope u guys have a fun time going to this place! Lol :)

I have a bearded dragon and I've had a hard time finding things for him in other stores since they have such a small reptile section. This place has way more stuff for reptiles! They also have a pack that you can buy to save money on mice and crickets! I'm going to sign up for it the next time I go in.

Good selection of insect feeders, lots of cute critters around. The store could use a good cleaning, but most pet shops have this issue. Staff was knowledgable and friendly, will probably go here again to get feeders!
