I think this is one of the better Home Depot’s in Solano county. Most of them it’s hard to find someone to help but I’ve always had someone ask me if I need help at this location. I really like being able to rent the flatbed truck which was $19.99 for 75 mins at the time. Very helpful!

I was having issues ordering some kitchen cabinets. Shana Rodriguez was so helpful, patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable. My cabinets were ordered and it was a very good experience. Natalie,was working with us and helpful.

Home Depots are virtually all the same. Better prices than the other large box store but with less of the high-end products to choise from. Staffing is barely adequate but they are helpful when you can find them.The store was clean and well stocked for being right after Christmas.It's my #1 hardware store choice due to price.

This morning I went to the Vacaville Home Depot to pick up some lumber, fasteners, paint and and additional items at my wife’s request. I went first to the lumber section. It was blocked off with two guys and a forklift moving around lumber and restocking.I continued around the store and finished my other shopping. When I returned the area was still blocked by the same two Home Depot employees. I asked themIf they would hand my what I needed, seeing it just a few feet beyond the barrier. I was told quite curtly they would be finished in 15-min. I explained I was finished with my shopping and just needed the lumber pieces. They again said it would me 15-min.I left my cart with everything I was going to purchase. I am now at Lowe’s typing this review. It’s actually a little closer that an Home Depot anyway. I’ll not be returning. As a plus for Lowe’s I’m a local building contractor and will now bring Lowe’s a lot more business.

Have spent many many hours shopping at this particular store never really had issues until yesterday. Condition of the store was disgusting never seen it so cluttered and dirty. Had ask for assistance in flooring waited 45minuites before just walking away. Made comment to cashier as checking out and just got a blank look. Really kinda lost for words! Oh well, came back to our local store ""Woodland"" found somthing I like a huge thank you to a store that gives great customer service.

We ordered flooring from Home Depot, who provided a delivery date of Nov. 20. We called the day of delivery since we had not received any notification that our order was scheduled to be delivered. We were told that the logistics company had the order and would reach out to schedule the delivery date (which would be later than the date Home Depot provided). We called the logistics company who told us they haven't received the whole order from Home Depot. We called Home Depot back, only to be told that over half of our order was still in the Home Depot warehouse and we would need to be patient until they could figure out when they would have the entire order to the logistics company so they could schedule a delivery. Home Depot couldn't/ wouldn't provide us with a date that the rest of the order would be sent to the logistics company and their remedy was to "offer" us a refund if they couldn't get the rest of our order out within a week (a week late). Offer us a refund for product we never received? How generous. In the meantime, our flooring contractor is sitting idle waiting for something to install. Home Depot's delay is costing us over $3,000 per day in contractor costs, which we will now have to mitigate by canceling the job and trying to reschedule our contractor. In my opinion, you should save yourself the frustration and costs, and go to Lowe's or LL Flooring.

Went to buy a trailer. Got great customer service from the GM Alan and Nicole. Highly recommend. The next day Phil took the time to help me unlock the trailer and get me fixed up. Not every box hardware store has courteous and friendly people. Worth your time to stop through and say hello.

I was searching for an item in the lawn equipment isle and I heard “Good morning, can I help you find what your looking for ?” On the contrary, I’ve been to several Home Depot before with good customer service, but the service I had today was great 👍. “Manny” is what I call old school customer service the way I remember how customers should be treated, very professional, help searched for the item and went the extra mile to get assistance for that specific area.I’m sure that there are good employees that work there as well ,but I was fortunate to experience great customer service today from “Manny”.Thanks again SirPlease share this with Manny at the Vacaville Home depot .

Home Depot is like many Retail stores today, in the fact that You just can't find an Associate to help when needed. Even if You just need assistance to purchase merchandise which is locked or secured. This is why I rated them 4Stars.That said ... I was in Vacaville, and stopped into the Store to see if they had a tool for purchase without all the accessories. I was looking to purchase a "HammerDrill" without the Battery, Charger, or other.Note that the Fairfield Store claimed (according to online resources) that they had 3 in stock, but that wasn't true. Vacaville did have the tool I needed in stock, so I purchased that along with several other items needed for home projects.I ended up returning the unopened "HammerDrill" with the additional accessories I purchased in Fairfield.Bottom line is the Vacaville Home Depot has an overall better inventory of merchandise, plants, and tools than the Fairfield Home Depot. The online resources seem to match their real-time inventory as well. It's sad that in many cases You have to drive locally, and spend the extra time to get what You need.

No mobile pay and no alert to customers until at the check out. Updated 6/13/2023I constantly loose small items (like cards) so I don't carry them. The ma and pa store down the street has mobile pay and this huge box store doesn't? Yikes. Nice store otherwise.

Best service by a gentleman named Manny . I went to purchase a grill and needed help carrying it to my car but notice something missing. Manny was the most friendliest and helpful person I have ever encountered! Especially at Home depot . He went above and beyond ! I wish there were more people like him!! Vacaville store!

We had to find 1/4 in × 4' × 8 foot sheet of Birch hardwood underlay. The had it. The quality was surprisingly good! It didn't have a price tag, but the Sales Associate found the SKU number quickly. So we were in and out of the Store in minutes. Nice!

I have been ordering a bathtub since december of2022 I was told that I would receive a text to my email when it arrived. Never heard anything from them went back. I was told the bathtub did come in but it was damaged Never gotta call or text From home depot. Had to reorder a different bathtubs I'm still waiting haven't heard a word. It has been paid for back in May. The bathtub was supposed to be here. June 8th If it doesn't come this time I will not reorder. I Had to cancel with my plumber 4 times now. The worst service I've ever had from a store that supposed to be a great store. And if you're in the store good luck finding anyone to help you. I had to walk all the way back up front to find somebody to call somebody for help So be prepared I believe this store is help yourself Very dissatisfied customer.

Blanca in the front was very rude when I was with my mother trying to find a simple product acted as if she didn’t know how to search anything up and looked like she really didn’t want to deal with us. Nobody else was in line we were patiently waiting our turn and didn’t even want to radio anyone for us. When an associate Matt came to finally help just didn’t know what he was talking about or even what we were looking for. Was gonna end up spending over a couple grand to remodel but I think Lowe’s will be best.

We were buying some carpet. The carpet measuring lady at the end of the cutting, was preparing our measuring ticket.At first she measured a wrong pattern, then she was trying for 10 minutes to find the "Point" on the keyboard, after several attempts she was not able to find it.When I told her to use the point under the letters instead of the numbering keyboard, she cut my words and rudely said I know how to do itHome Depot top managers should train the stuff, how to behave with customers

If we can give ZERO this branch is. 1st time and it's the worst experienced at this home depot. Employee named Joe, rude and lazy and the Assistant Supervisor named Shawn extremely rude and unprofessional. I wonder how many complaints this two got... Maybe the management should review their performance because they are not a good assets to this store. They don't care for customers and they are lazy employees.

Well stocked. Went in and found what we wanted quickly and checked out just as fast. Friendly service. Offers 10% discount for Veterans if you have a VA or military I.D. Not crowded and has plenty of surface parking including handicap. Location easily accessible from I-80 freeway

One of the very best "The Home Depot" locations. I'm there pretty often these days. Plenty of staff on hand to help. Courteous & knowledgeable. No tire-killing nails or screws laying around the parking lot either. And that's very much appreciated.

I went in today to customer service. I had bought the wrong size of an item. It was two days prior. I bought several items as I was completing a remodel on a bathroom. The item cost $7.99. I told the customer service that I had used my credit card. But as I could not find the receipt. She said if you don’t have the receipt you can not get your money back. I said I had returned things before. Another woman young also pointed to a piece of paper taped on the counter top. She said if you don’t have your receipt we can’t help you. I have spent several thousand dollars remodeling a house I bought last year. If Home Depot wants to lose a customer over rude customer service. Then so be it. I will never let my presence visit your establishment again. I’m sure that Lowe’s will love the thousands I spend yearly. Kevin Kaufman

If you are someone who does not know tools very well but know what you want to do this place is great for that. The people there are always willing to help as long as you politely ask them. Remember that there may be other people that have a similar issue so you may have to wait your turn before you get some one. Just like everywhere else they may be short handed but with those that they do have make up for it as long as you are patient. I have always been able to find what I need and if there an issue at the register they usually solve it in about 5 minute or less, usually less.

Really nice selection. Definitely worth taking a look through the tools. They have all of the new lines from all of the major tool companies meant for the residential or light commercial workers.As far as parts and hardware goes most projects can be completed with all needs for material met here.

Its a big box store, pretty much everything you need or want. The staff i worked with was extremely helpful. Home Depot only problem not enough staff on the floor, not Home Depot fault. Very good and helpful staff that was there.
