I saw the bad reviews here, but I haven’t had BBQ in a while and wanted to give it a shot. Unfortunately the bad reviews are right. The employees were very hostile and impatient while I was looking at the menu. The menu is on multiple screens surrounding the counter. You can’t see them all at once. So I walked around the corner to look at the other screen to see the rest of the menu. Even though I was standing all the way at the back of the restaurant, the employees were getting frustrated with me:“sir you can’t order over there, you need to come over here”I’m trying to look at the menu? I was standing 10 feet away from the counter — it’s pretty obvious that I’m trying to read the menu. As I’m looking at the menu, they’re intensely staring at me, growing more impatient. At this point I already regret coming in, but I place an order. A chicken sandwich and a small mac n cheese. It came out to $16, which is crazy. It’s not like I’m ordering a plate. I can order the same thing at chick fil a for less than 10 bucks.I get the food and it’s horrible. Just an absolute mess. Multiple pieces of undercooked chicken, no seasoning, and a slab of cheese that tasted like craft cheese. How is this BBQ? I could microwave a sandwich that tastes exactly like this.

Horrible food and inexperienced worker and owner. When for lunch and spent almost $60 on under cooked ribs and brown and soggy fries. I asked for another batch of fries and they looked just like the first. I asked for a refund because me and my coworker could not eat the under cooked ribs. We were told it their policy not to offer refunds. I asked to see the policy and he (the owner) just walked away. I will never eat there again

The staff was helpful and friendly even while preparing large catering orders. The food was hot and tasted great. The soda had run out and was clear but the staff quickly handled that. The cashier/line cook even helped my daughter with deciding what she could have with allergy issues (see Dickey’s bbq website for allergy information).Parking: Parking was fine, but the in and out line sometimes blocks the entryway.

Charges for extra sauce, but doesn't ensure the order contains the extra sauce. Sauce containers don't indicate which is regular, spicy, sweet, or anything. Called to get a refund for missing sauces and remove tip, I was told they were extremely busy and they would call me back. Never got a call back. Food was mediocre. Save your money and go to a real BBQ place, same prices anyway.

Excellent and fast service. Although my order was misinterpreted, probably my fault, they absorbed the lost and changed it to what I had intended. Very courteous, clean, delicious. I appreciate their recognizing military with a small discount. Food was warm and tasty.Parking: no lacking of adequate spacious slots.

The guy cutting the meat was not wearing gloves, he was touching his face, grabbing the meat, cutting & plating. When we asked him to wear the gloves, he said "I don't have time, I washed my hands" . Then proceeded to touch his face then the food. The food was all cold except for the fried okra that was fresh out of the fryer. Reminded me on why I'm no longer a patron at this establishment. Was going to say something to the manager, noticed he wasn't wearing gloves either. I definitely watched him not wash his hands and touch the food.

Several weeks ago they messed up my order. I called and they said they would correct it on my next visit. The next visit...got home with my order. (Again over $60) Previous order wasn't corrected plus current order had missing sides. Finally went back 3 days ago. Explained again what happened. The lady shrugged and mumbled "oh sorry". No correction. It's the principle of it..... poor employee training, poor service, not going back to Vacaville location.

Great friendly staff, very clean. The server jimmy was very polite and just made my day with his contagious smile and positive attitude. Beers were good and cheap. Definitely be back again for the ribs and tri tip.

Dickies has always been one of my favorite fast bbq places, but this most recent time I am sad to see how small the portions have gotten, and how the prices have gone so far up. I understand raising your prices, but I can not get behind raising the prices and giving less food.I will sadly not be returning anytime soon.

Frankly, I was disappointed in our visit to Dickey's barbecue today. The first indication to leave was being told the prices on the menu were wrong. Then the soda machine was not working and the floors were sticky. Unfortunately, we had to leave since dine in was not available only to find burnt chicken nuggets and lukewarm food.

Absolutely horrible experience never ever going back the big obese lady was struggling to not eat my food and she ended up eating half my fries by the time I got my order and she was texting while she was at the fryer didn’t even wear any gloves on while making my baker and the cheese had mold on it the so called owner didn’t do anything about it to discipline her about it and was especially rude to me and my son very aggressive about me just trying to get my order refunded and proceeded to say some very racially targeted comments at me and my son for being of African decent and I would never wish such a horrible dinning experience to anyone absolutely disappointed and disgusted on how such a place is even open with horrible rude staff and poor customer service and in proper food quality standards such high prices for a place where they can’t even bother making sure the Ingredients were still edible without causing any sort of health risks this location and the one in woodland forever tainted my experience the only reason why I decided to give this location a try was because the one at woodland was crawling with rats and other sorts of obvious health violations they need to have the food inspector fired if they are letting them continue running such hazardous food establishment practically feeding people poison with such high prices

Service was clearly having a bad day when my wife and I went today. They had to remake a sandwich, gave a take out order to the wrong person, who left but then thankfully noticed and came back, all of which resulted in us waiting in line for 15-20min before we could order. But that isn't that bad, it happens, you get in the weeds, they apologized for the wait.However the food was awful. The brisket was under seasoned and dry, with a gelid bark that wasn't at all crispy. The burnt ends were likewise incredibly dry. The pork was a bit less dry but was also under seasoned. The kielbasa was at least passable. Several of the fries were under cooked and were all under seasoned, the BBQ beans were largely flavorless, the Mac and Cheese may or may not have had cheese in it, it was hard to tell by the taste. The green beans were OK. So out of 4 meats and 4 sides, 2 were passable and 6 were awful. The included roll was also very dry and tough.Unlike the service, it is hard to imagine so much bad food was the result of having a bad day. Definitely will not be returning.

I think they're a little pricey. The daily deal is not bad because it includes the big drink & two sides for$ 12.99. I keep meaning to go on a tues when ribs are the daily deal. So far everything I've had here is good.*** Don't forget the senior d/c. [ not on the daily deal tho ]

My wife and I spent over $40 and each had servings like this. Food was not bad, but what we received was not worth what we paid. 3 ribs, mac & cheese, and baked beans. Should have gone to Safeway and got about the same amount in a Banquet TV dinner for $1.99!Parking: Parking is terrible. Between kinko's & grocery outlet. Never spaces and not enough handicap.Wheelchair accessibility: Not enough handicap spaces. Too tight for regular spots. With Walker's or wheel chairs you can't get in unless someone holds the door.

I visited this Dickey's location twice. Both times the service, food, and cleanliness were great. Hats off to the current Manager Ariel, who handled everything (order fulfillment, service to table, clean-ups) with ease by herself during the day, and over the evening hours of Nov 29th when we visited. Two customers had an 8 to 10 minute wait because she needed to prepare some fresh hot items for them, with the result being fresh, hot food. We even tested the Dickey's food ordering app from the sidewalk before entering the store, and she was able to have everything ready for our dinner party within 20 minutes, which we felt was a very good order fulfillment time. The quality of the brisket, chicken and sides were good.

Victor made this large order the best possible! This was catering for my mother's funeral. I was stressed out, I had to change the delivery time last minute and he came through and went above and beyond. The food was hot and good. He spoke with me over the phone and made sure I had everything I needed. I cannot express how thankful and happy I was with this service!

Everything was wonderful. Chicken, turkey, brisket were all tender juicy and great flavor. The fried okra was the not made with the usual gritty cornmeal, they do a light crisy coating. Everyone was very nice.

The new manager Ariel is absolutely what customer service is about! During a very frustrating time with that location having supply chain issues and having to cancel orders, Ariel went above and beyond to assist me and making sure that I was fully satisfied! It had been at least 6 months since I had used this location because my orders kept getting canceled and nothing being refunded. So I was out the money. Ariel really made sure to make this right and has won my business again.

It's an ok place; visually, it didn't look as clean as I would have expected. Their ribs were too salty for my taste; chicken nuggets were crunchy but good. The pulled pork was ok, and they forgot our coleslaw, not a big deal. It look as if they were short-staffed, hoping the place will be a little cleaner with additional help.

WORST BBQ PLACE EVER. Something was wrong with their payment system. They swiped my debit card 3 times and charged me $175 for a $47 order. The owner was very ignorant and did not know what he was talking about. He told me those charges would not post and the transactions were only pending which was a lie. The next morning the $175 was taken off my card and I had to file a dispute with my bank. This place is horrible. It was very dirty inside. They never have BBQ in stock but this supposed to be a BBQ restaurant. They only have sides and hot dogs available!! Horrible customer service, I wish I could give 0 stars.
