If I lived here, I would shop here all the times. Very well stocked. Young cashier hasn't learned how to smile or greet customers. Could use some coaching, or maybe a different job in the store. Not everyone are people, persons. She's not.

Nice deli, and offers a decent selection of fresh baked breads including cheese and everything loafs. Offers a sausage section of different varieties of sausage from Mac and cheese to mango. Offers Straus family organic bottled in glass milk and half and half. Does not sell nonstick gauze pads. Lol

I drive by this store when on the Nice/Lucerne turnaround going to CA 29. I finally stopped in.What a nice grocery store, it has all that a grocery store offers, and they had some good sales when we were there. The store was clean and busy! The lines went fast because they had 4 cashiers and one self-checkout. In most stores, you have two maybe three cashiers and you wait in line.I was impressed with the staff and cleanliness of the store. I will make a point to stop there from now on.

This market is really super cool, more of a hometown feel then going into a Safeway or what not, the staff here are great, I like their prices and it's family owned and doesn't change shoppers to that.

We are visiting the area, staying at a local RV park so I stopped in for a few staples. I was very impressed by this market! They have a great selection and a nice variety of meats, produce, and dairy and their bakery items were fresh. I picked up some wonderful fresh croissants and sandwich rolls that were not on my list. The store was clean and very well organized with friendly employees. Had a nice conversation with Sean, he is a wonderful representative of the store. Prices are about average, I’d say on par with Safeway & Raley’s. I plan on returning here again during our vacation and definitely recommend it.

I pulled into the parking lot and while I was still in my car two guys approached me on both sides of vehicle and started looking at my car so I got out and asked them what was up and they begin questioning me and harassing me like I was some thief they were looking for they need to take a damn good look at their cameras before they walk up and start harassing customers who have shopped there for 20+years me and my wife have both worked inside the store I was totally insulted

You should open a store closer to clearlake...consider lower lake this is a great store and lower lake would be a good spot ...I would shop there.

Overall a huge improvement.April 24th 2022 update the store just gets better and better with all the new products the organic stuff a lot of Asian food which I really like can't wait to see what the future holds because it is just super fabulous right now

The deli at the store is wonderful 🙂 the folks there are always friendly and they are willing to do anything you would like them to do. My mother likes her salami as thin as possible and they do it perfect every time. The options there are wonderful and they have an awesome array of pre-cooked food to make dinner a little easier.

This place made my vacation even better. The prices were very good and the quality of the food was great. My boys loved the deli options. One said they had some other the best sushi he has ever had and the other raved about the sandwich he ordered. The beef was terrific and very reasonable in price. We enjoyed these great steaks after throwing them on the grill at our resort. The staff was excellent friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend augmenting your vacation food budget by shopping here.

If you like making cocktails this is the place to go as the county doesn't have a stand alone liquor store. The produce is hit and miss on quality, so I usually avoid that. The selection of meats is pretty standard. One thing I really love about this store is that the employees are extremely friendly and helpful!

The staff is friendly, and the prices of meat seem to be fair? Their are alot of people who shop here, from all over the United States. I don't just shop expecting the same ol small country folks. There's a variety of people, cultures and values that incorporate and invest into Mar Vals. The staff are honest and hard working people that choose to serve our public with courtesy and respect. I love that in a small town! Keep us all in each others prayers. & know you are in mine. I'll be praying for more discounts, and no more turkey bucks this year! It isn't structured in a fair way. It's kind of confusing.

I enjoy this market cause the deli and not having crazy lines. They have most of what I look for. The staff are polite and they give a local neighborly feel. The parking lot is covered to provide shade and power. Over all it's very nice.

A very good selection of foods and a great liquor department the vegetables always seem to be fresh the deli offers some really good dishes I understand they're putting in some car chargers for EVs I love the big solar panels out front when it's hot it's nice to be able to park in the shade

We travel Hwy 20 quite a bit. We love the fried chicken! They have decent prices on alcohol. Well stocked grocery store.
