Stopping into Sword and Board, you're immediately struck by the clean and well organized shop from and interior. The shop has a very nice layout and uses the space it has well. It was easy to browse and find interesting things, and get an idea of the item for sale at the shop. I was able to find a couple board games that are not usually offered in most shops, and they also have all the of standard games that you'd expect to find. The staff were pretty friendly, and had a casual attitude. It seemed like they enjoyed working here and had fun, and were not overbearing or tryin to sell me things. Overall the shop is in a great location, has a wide variety of games, and offers pretty fair prices!

Local shop where I like to get my Yugioh and Pokemon cards as well as sleeves and top loaders for them. Really friendly employees. Would definitely recommend.

Great comic book store and a huge selection of gaming gear. Although I was only there for the books. Got more than I was hoping for. And had a great conversation with the staff and another customer. Lead to me leaving with a wonderful amount of recommendations. It's a really great place. Not in my regular neck of the woods but look to returning again when I'm up that way.

I can't believe I haven't hit this store up before. It's such a friendly local hangout. It's a bit of a drive for me but no further than most of the other decent FLGSes around since my local turned into a scalper. This couldn't be further from that experience. If you've not been, go and check it out!

We absolutely love sword and board! Something for everyone in our family! From our 4 year old who loves the books, our 7 year old who loves Pokémon, to my husband and I who love MTG and just started playing D&D. They even have comic books and other games!

Easily the best card shop around and this is nothing new. Sword and Board has been excellent for something like 2 decades now. Amazing staff, great selection, and an attitude that shows they actually want your business and to be a part of the community. They're not in it just for your money, which is rare to see amongst card shops these days.

Aside from having great tabletop game/hobby/comic book sections, they host game nights of all types in the evenings. Friendly helpful staff and it's own cool little community within Ukiah.

I always love coming to this place. I visited so often that most of the staff recognize me and I became pretty good friends with the owner. I like to go in and browse and see if there's anything else that could catch my eye, but I mostly go and buy Pokemon cards for my son and myself

The new store is awesome! And as always awesome customer service. The staff is very knowledgeable and help you with whatever your needs might be. I’ve just recently started play MTG and they have helped me develop my first deck (mono red Aggro) looking to start building other color decks in the future. Glad I have a card shop in my area to help with this. You guys rock!!

The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. We are always greeted by friendly service. They have a good selection of board games and they are great at recommending new things to try based on things you like. Tuesday is game night. They allow friendly dogs on leash, always a plus.

Went there recently for a sealed Magic the Gathering tournament and had a great experience for not only my first time in an MTG tournament, but my first time playing MTG in person instead of on MTG Arena. Friendly and helpful staff, impressive selection of games and gaming accessories. Will absolutely be back.

Great place for the kids. My son’s favorite spot for after school fun. Wanted to say thank you for being good to the kids and offering a safe place for them to hang out.Here is his review: Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Cody has been helping set up campaigns and telling us helpful information on how to play them. Casey is also very nice! He provides great deals and explains things I don’t understand. -Matthew

I have been going to Sword and Board for a few years now, and I can't say enough good stuff! The staff are relaxed and cool, they have a great selection of MTG cards. This is nice because a lot of similar comic book stores only sell packs instead of individual cards like Sword and Board.In particular, the owner, Casey, is nice and chill, and is willing to bend on card prices of you are a little short, though these things apply to most all of the employees here. I recommend this store to anyone who loves comic books, card games, board games and everything between. 10/10!!!:}

Nice place to get comics, and board/card games! They also host Magic tourneys and offer a space to compete. Also have model paints and supplies for painting figurines.

Grab your swords, assemble your army! FRom dungeons and dragons, Warhammer, star wars table top games. To good old fashioned sit down family games. The staff is friendly and the prices are competitive. They have a discord so it's easy to find friends new and old to battle with. Stop in and get your game on!

I love to come here when I just want to play some magic. they have a wide selection of board games and some arcade machines in the back. they always have the newest cards on display and already open board games you can try before you buy

So glad ukiah has a place like this and a little jealous that it was not there when i was younger. They have all kind of stuff to help you get your nerd on. They got comic books, magic cards, toy figures and a whole bunch more. I went in to get my daughter magic cards and ended up staying for a hour. They also do tournaments and game nights.
