Morgan is the best, compassionate, caring, and just a very good person. We had a stray cat wandering our campsite in Indian Cove. He gave us an animal cage so we could trap it and bring it to the shelter. He did his best for the kitty.

I don’t know if anyone there remembers a cat named mustafa but I adopted him about a year ago and he is still with us living his happiest life, I couldn’t be more thankful that they made the adoption process so easy and took care of my baby. Wishing I still lived there so I could adopt again

Very compassionate staff. We had to put our elderly and ill dog to sleep and they were so nice and caring about the whole ordeal. They also were the only place we could find that was willing to put a duck that was attacked by a coyote down for us. Very grateful to them.

This shelter had told me they did not have my dog, sold him, and told me there is nothing to do about it. My dog is chipped, I made more then 15 calls to this shelter asking about my dog, had them fill out plenty of miss dog reports, and went in and they only showed one spot not another spot. I’m seriously upset and mad because I’ve been calling since September, this dog is my therapy pet.

The people who work/volunteer here are amazing. It is very obviously care about their work with the animals and they are good with the people who come to adopt. In my experience it’s not always a given that those who are good with animals are good with people, so I’m thankful for my pleasant experiences here. Definitely go check this place out if you’re looking for a new furry family member.

This shelter is amazing from the staff that working there to the animals that they caring for! You can ask them questions if you need details on the specific pet/s you interested in and they will pull out the records of them.. not just ‘pretend know’ like other shelters I’ve been to. Most of the pets seemed to know/attach to them to. It just showed how much attentions they got from the staff and that is really good for them. Overall we have great or should I say awesome!!! experience here!

I have called 4 times on animal abuse and neglect and every time they go to this specific location these people do nothing and two years later the situation is the same

Wilbur went missing for a couple days. They had him. Referred to him as Wilbur the minute they learned his name. He had water food and shelter. The workers were kind and empathetic.

Due to unfortunate circumstances I needed to surrender 2 of my beloved fur babies. The staff was wonderful and very understanding, Rockie and Scooter have already been adopted in under a week. We were so lucky, the first dog we saw was truly meant for us! We visited in June to "just look" but I fell in love as soon as we saw the dog we adopted. He was way bigger than we had planned but he had the sweetest eyes and I knew he'd fit in perfect! Go in with an open mind, I had planned on getting a small to medium sized rescue but now I couldn't imagine being without my 80 lb shadow.

I like the services of few of the workers, though others need more empathy, since I don't agree that it's fair to label people incorrectly without their knowledge, and giving them restrictions to how many animals they can have, (which in most cases are lower than others in their area who they don't harass) just because of a label that they give you.

Palms N Paws is an amazing shelter with wonderful staff! Their facility is very clean and they take good care of their animals. It is a constant revolving door with dogs and cats at this facility and the staff do an excellent job at keeping up!

Clean, animals look well taken care of, staff is helpful. Rescued two of my dogs here and was not sorry. Wish they opened their doors earlier for those coming from a distance or work 2 shift with weird hours.

My sister adopted a wonderful cat from there and was told to have him neutered this poor fur baby came back with an infection on his foot! How does a cat go in to get neutered and comes out limping with a deep wound on his paw!!!!
