Such a great spot!! So much attention to detail which really makes this bakery shine. Everything we had was exceptional and it’s all really quick, grab and go. Things sell out so get there early if you have your eye on something (breakfast sandwiches were sold out) the vegetarian pesto sandwich was insanely good though and delicious! The Ethiopian coffee was incredible. I should have asked for ice, but I know for next time. The blueberry brioche was so good too. Would buy again.

A nice, fairly priced little bakery. If you are in town and need breakfast or lunch, especially to take into the park, this is a great choice. We got sandwiches and chocolate croissants and they were all really great. The sandwiches were both vegetarian with a lot of fresh veggies and spreads on really nicely baked, good sized buns. The chocolate croissants were flaky and perfect. Good drink and other baked goods options as well. They do only let one person or party in at a time because the ordering area is very small.Vegetarian options: We got two nice veggie sandwiches.Kid-friendliness: Kids were able to pick options they liked

Wow! 🤩 This place is an absolute must. After growing up on the east coast, i’ve been very let down by countless mediocre bakery items and pizza out west.The pizza crust and sauce was unbelievably flavorful- I had 3 pieces 😅 It reminded me of how much I love great pizza. The cinnamon sugar brioche and banana bread were equally as impressive. I’ll be thinking about this bakery a lot on the long drive back to Seattle and wishing it was much much closer.

This was gem we found during our visit to Joshua tree national park. As vegetarians we felt like we were in haven. Everything was super delicious and you could taste their passion and love. I read their story and I was amazed by it and same time not surprised!Visit this please if you are close to area. . BEST PLACE EVER AND EVER AND EVER !!

This place is Delicious! A great healthy option for some tasty sandwiches and treats. We got the apple white cheddar sandwich. Sorry I had to try it, maybe it looks simple. However, it tastes soooo Good. Definitely try going during off hours. So probably not on weekends. It can get pretty busy here, all fresh made food. There are vegetarian options too. Definitely a must stop spot in 29 Palms. Oh the Peanut Butter Banana cupcakes, hell yes!

LOVED everything I got from here.I'm not a vegan but vegan Italian sandwich had so much fresh flavors and enjoyed every bite of it.Melted Swiss Over Roasted Mushrooms and Spinach sandwich was one of my best sandwiches I ever had in my life:) YUM!Banana bread was very moist.Watermelon juice was also tasty! I went there 2 days in a row.

one of my absolute favorite places when visiting joshua tree! ive tried everything from the granola, to pastries, juices, and sandwiches, everything is perfect and the staff is warm. came back three days in a row, twice for breakfast, and once to grab sandwiches for the road. a tiny perfect beacon in the dessert, its the first place i want to go when im in town

Got to visit today for the first time with 2 friends. We got in line after we perused the Saturday farmers market and it did not disappoint to wait on these goodies.I ordered the pesto sandwich which was a great amount for the price. I was also lucky enough to snag their last blueberry cream cheese brioche roll.I really enjoyed how much they had to offer and also ordered a chocolate loaf, a scone and a peanut butter swirl item. As I was waiting for my friends to order I noticed a lot more items that I could have ordered but I was kind enough to restrain myself, not that it was easy by the sight of all these goodies.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options offered! I saw they offered a vegan sandwich today

This bakery was incredible! We were traveling from out of town and needed a quick breakfast. We had their breakfast sandwiches and a few baked items. We would have taken a picture of the breakfast sandwiches, but they were so good we couldn't stop eating them to snap a photo. The eggs were perfectly cooked (we are so picky about how our eggs are cooked), and the green sauce was out of this world (we even got a container to go). So many options….we are going back tomorrow! The cinnamon sugar brioche was so soft but at the same time it felt like it held so many layers! Impressive work you two!

Located right downtown across from the visitor center in 29 Palms. There can be a wait for service due to the popularity of their offerings. If you were looking for sandwiches to take with you to the Park, or fantastic sweet treats this is your destination.

Everything we tried was delicious! We got the apple sandwich, banana chocolate muffin, apple sour cream cake, potato salad, kale salad, and a cheese & veggie sandwich. All fabulous and prices were really good compared to the cafes in Joshua Tree.

We had an everything bagel with cream cheese, a banana loaf, and chocolate horchata and picnicked at Joshua Tree National Park. Everything was absolutely delicious! I am eager to return to try out more baked goods and try one of their sandwiches. They were doing a great job of following covid safety guidelines as well!Went back later and tried their sandwiches and a few other baked goods. Everything was fantastic!

I recently visited this place and it had its ups and downs. On the positive side, it's a nice little spot with a cozy atmosphere. However, there were a couple of things that didn't quite meet my expectations. Firstly, they only allow one person at a time, which meant waiting outside. Secondly, the bagel they served was not cut or toasted. Basically do it yourself. Overall, it's a mixed experience.

Holy Forkin Shirt!First time in this morning and I was completely blown away by everything! We got the turkey avocado sandwich, the blueberry coffee cake, banana chocolate chip muffin and the carrot crumble muffin.I have never had a sandwich this good in my entire life, it was flavorful and packed with meat and veggies with a bit of spicy kick! The bread was perfect combination of soft with a slight crunch around the edges. It was so large I had it for breakfast and lunch.The blueberry coffee cake was nothing I ever expected and everything I ever needed. I don’t know if it’s some type of soft sweet cornbread but it also has a cheesecake like layer of crunch at the bottom and a layer of blueberry. Dusted in what I can only imagine is powdered sugar from the heavens.The banana chocolate chip muffin was the best banana chocolate combination ive ever tasted. The perfect crumbs topping paired with the yummy chocolate chip and the banana so perfectly balanced was out of this world.The carrot muffin was simple and delicious.I live in San Diego and am trying to convince my friend to drive back out in the morning for more hahah. I will never NOT stop here. If you are even considering stopping anywhere in 29 palms make this your first stop!I am a forever customer after this amazing experience

Wow was I happy to stumble upon this place. I’m pretty picky about coffee when I’m traveling - I really want a good cup of joe to start my day - and Campbell Hill Bakery did not disappoint. They really do sell out of stuff so I got a cinnamon roll and a melted cheese ham sandwich for later. Both were so good - cinnamon roll was soft on the inside! You know how many cinny rolls you find that are rock hard? not these. There will be a line, but it’s worth the wait. I can’t wait to find myself back in 29 Palms on a Tuesday-Saturday so I can get back to CHB.

What an amazing place and what a nice energy!I’ve been gifted 4 red velvet cupcakes and I have to say it was an amazing surprise for my girls. They have enjoyed every single crumb and the frosting was out of this world.Thank you, we had the sweetest trip back to LA.This bakery simply makes the world a better place ❤️

My daughter and I were in Joshua Tree briefly and stopped at this bakery as we were heading out of town. This turned out to be a brilliant move as Campbell Hill had some of the best baked items I've ever tasted. We bought a croissant, blueberry muffin and some chocolate chip cookies. Each item was super fresh and unbelievably good. It's only been a few days since our visit but I've already recommended this place to 3 people. A definite "don't miss"!

One of the loveliest little bakery’s I’ve ever seen. Only one person or party at a time. I would be ready with your order as soon as possible. No one was there when I arrived at 7:45. 10 people in line when I left. That says a lot. This place is a gem. I loved the white cheddar and apple sandwich, cinnamon brioche, blueberry and cream cheese brioche. I wanted one of everything. But for me the star was the chocolate croissant. It reminds me of the ones I grew up eating from a French bakery in Santa Monica on main st in the 90s. The best I’ve had.

My sandwich was fabulous, not sure of the name but it was a ham and swiss. There was a delicious sauce under a piece of cheese on top of the sandwich. My husband ordered the roast beef and said it was fine, nothing special.
