Friendly staff, actually called us to let us know a cancelation happened and we could get our puppy in a couple days early! We had a pretty annoying ask, "please trim her enough, but not enough to look like a show dog - we like her scruffy face etc." They nailed it. Thanks so much - only wish we lived closer

I have been going to them for a few years only because I could not find anyone else. They always have an attitude. Charge exorbitant prices $158 for one medium and one small dog. Then I canceled the day before and they never bothered to call me back after repeated messages to reschedule. One time they shaved my dog down so much she bled. I do not recommend and am so happy with my new groomer.

We travel full time so I depend on reviews to find the best groomers in the area. 29 Paws had good reviews. I took my baby, Lucy, to 29 Paws Pet Grooming on Saturday, October 9, 2021.The groomer called after about an hour and a half to tell me that she had cut my dog’s tongue with the scissors. She said it wasn’t bad and she didn’t feel Lucy needed to go to the vet. We rushed over. Lucy was happy; seemed to not notice that her tongue was bleeding all over the floor. It was difficult to see with the blood, but appeared to be a nick. I was crying. The groomer did honestly feel bad. It was an accident. But, in hindsight, it is a groomer’s 100% first priority to keep my dog safe. If she cannot cut around her face without harming my dog, DON’T DO IT. It takes just a milli-second of distraction or complacency to harm another. Safety should always be first.She still charged me $51 for the grooming. I was in shock. You cut my dog’s tongue with the scissors and I have to pay you for that? I paid and left in tears.We called everywhere to try to find a vet. No one would see her on a Saturday afternoon. We did find a place 2 hours away that said it would be a 5-7 hour wait once we arrived. Why didn’t the groomer call the vet as soon as she cut her tongue? It’s a DOG’S tongue! They pant, they lick, they play with toys, they eat…everything revolves around their mouths. Anyhow, we decided not to take her and just keep an eye on it.It’s now been 5 days. It’s healing. She doesn’t really seem to notice it. The cut went clean through her tongue at the tip about ½ inch in. There will be a notch in her tongue for the rest of her life…and she just turned 1 year old. She’s still a puppy.I feel so horrible for taking my baby to this groomer and trusting her with my dog’s safety. My dog trusts me and I took her somewhere she was harmed. As someone who depends on reviews, I had to share my story and the picture of my baby’s tongue. ☹Response to owner: No one mentioned that a vet had been called. That would have been extremely important information. The groomer said she took a picture and didn't think Lucy needed to go to the vet. No mention of a call to a vet. So, I'm feeling like no one actually called the vet and you are just trying to save face. They did offer to pay if we decided to go to the vet, but when we called the vet in Twenty Nine Palms, they said they didn't accept new patients. So, I'm not sure what we were supposed to do. 29 Paws should have taken her to the vet as I'm sure you are already an established customer.

I took my Labradoodle for her birthday so she would have a full makeover but when getting there 8 minutes late I rushed in and apologized letting the woman on the floor know I’m not from the area and couldn’t find parking so parked behind next to Starbucks and she was so quick to respond with an attitude saying you can’t see the whole parking structure next to us?! I can’t be waiting for you next time call when there were literally no dogs there but her own, after she saw my pup she changed and treated her very well so I decided to leave her and get groomed but after I picked her up my 1 year old pup couldn’t stop crying and was completely shaved, I took her home and she kept quiet all day and wouldn’t eat so I took her to the vet after she wasn’t being herself and realized she started scratching and they told me she had a traumatic experience and to never take her back. I’m not leaving my pup ever again and recommend you go with your gut feeling.

Great people! Great prices! I have a husky who is very high maintenance because she is my princess. They took great care of her and she loves going there. They let me know any concerns and give great communication. I also take my cat here to get groomed and they love her! They take such great care of my cat and make her smell great! They are my regular groomer and have recommended them to others!

I was approaching the front door to enter & the lady(employee) was approaching the door from inside to Close & Lock up. I am Disabled & have an 80lb. Pitbull that I was bringing in to get his badly needed nails clipped, she opened the door & I pleaded please let me get his nails done they were so long. She gladly said ok & took my dog leash & led us in to do my Babies nails. I was so relieved 😌 for him & me. Great Big Thank You Again for your Kindness & Understanding. We'll be back for bath & nails in near future. So far Happy Customer & Dog. Debra & Roscoe

Took my husky here, they were nice and professional. My husky looks stunning and it looks like they didn't have any problems with her. The quality and pricing is great. I let them know how she doesn't like her paws touched and have spots on her where they need to be careful, they listened and took great care of her. I'm going to make this place my dog's regular groomer!

Staff is fantastic and definitely in their element with animals. Got a free grooming session after rescuing a dog from a local shelter & they did not disappoint. They were kind, knowledgeable and made my new addition super fluffy, clean, and smell fantastic. They even gave her a neck scarf to wear home.Highly recommend their service! I'll be back!

I’m grateful that 29 paws have their business here in 29 palms. I have a Yorkie terrier that always need grooming. I’ve been having my dog groomed from them since they were located at Adobe and amboy. Their prices are reasonable and plus my dog seem to like it after he had just been groomed. It takes about 3 months for me to go back and groom my dog again. So, all in all, it all works out. Their customer service and attitude towards your pet is just remarkable. They’re friendly and my dog seemed to be comfortable when I take him there. I swear, I think they’re like animal whisperer or something because my friend took his dogs there to trim their nails and these dogs are usually finicky when you pick them up. But they seem to calm them down. I definitely would suggest others who have pets that needs grooming to take them at 29 paws. I am a proud customer. I’ll keep taking my dog to get groomed by them.

My long furred cat got put on antibiotics and I was a little late for his sanitary shave so one thing led to another & yeah, messy a**. Call this place yesterday frantic and the got my in first thing this morning. Super friendly service. Cant thank them enough. Totally saved me.

I took my big dog over for a full groom and 29 Paws did such a fantastic job!! My dog is much happier now that he's clean and doesn't have all that extra fur. He looks great and his fur is very soft. Highly recommend this place!

This place is just the best. We have a 3-year-old Husky, Juneau, who sheds endlessly. He's a pain to groom and won't let anybody do it besides my husband and I - that was until we brought him here!She did a fantastic job and he came back looking like a whole new pup! We are thrilled with her work, and even happier that he allowed her to groom him. We will be returning here with all our grooming needs. Thank you 29 Paws!

This place is amazing! We were traveling through from Colorado staying at a local RV park here i. 29 palms. We have a little Minpin mix who got one of his nails caught and ripped in half. All of the veterinary clinics wanted to charge me over $100 for an emergency fee. These ladies took me right away and took such good care of my pup. He is usually an idiot for his nails but they did such a great job and only charge me $10. Wish we could go to them every time he needs his nails trimmed. Highly recommend.

The staff here are very friendly. The entrance is a small store with dog food and treats for your four-legged friends. I had my dogs nails trimmed here recently. The trim was $10 and well worth it. For some reason my dog is terrified to get his nails trimmed. As such, I usually dread the process just as much as he does. The ladies here were able to keep him calm and finish the task in no time at all. I would recommend them to anyone!

Taylor with 29 paws has pampered our pup Colt for 3 years. Even during his last days, she worked him in for one last pampering session. In spite of feeling so sick, he still loved his time there and her. Thank you Taylor for pampering our guy right up until the end.

My dog has not been able to walk since I brought her back home she is in constant pain and I have to carry her almost every where. Her abdomen has multiple cuts and 3 of her nipples were also cut. There was no hair on her abdomen due to she was spayed 2 weeks ago. Her nails appear to have been cut near the quick.

I was recommended by two people to take my GSD here, and I'm very pleased that I did. The staff is friendly and helpful, they do great work in a timely manor and are reasonably priced. I will most definitely be taking my dog back and would recommend others to take their pups here.

Although, the staff was nice, the end result of my $50+ investment was unsatisfactory. My pooch was returned to me with a wound on one of her rear paws, and it was evident that it had been cleaned When I called about it, they played dumb. I know how my dog looks before I hand her over to anyone, and I did not do so with a wound.Also, she began to stink up within 2 days, which is significantly faster than whenever I wash her. (I use a bougie, organic soap-free shampoo, and she smells amazing for nearly 2 weeks). I am really unsure what this place uses as it would seem that it is of sub par quality.Kind of stuck going here to get her nails clipped; just wish there were still mobile options in 29.

Great shop and wonderful people. Meghan was able to get Beau bathed and groomed and did exactly as I requested regarding his cut. I very strongly recommend this shop for taking care of your critters when they need a good grooming.

I've been taking my pup here to get get nails clipped for a couple years now. I'm familiar with their business hours and appreciate that they almost immediately take care of my lil one. This day I got there a half hour to 45 minutes before they were due to close, and the place was locked up, noone in sight. I understand that things come up, sometimes we are forced to close earlier than normal. My suggestion is that when this does happen, put a note on the door apologising for the inconvenience. Was very disappointed. I'm still needing to get her nails clipped due to the fact that my free hours do not always fall in line with business hours.

Great! You walk in to a relaxed atmosphere​ which is always appreciated with first timers. The owner, Robin, sat down on the floor to greet my puppies and make them feel comfortable.I adopted two adorable APBT puppies from Palms & Paws and 29 Paws has a program set up for adopted fur-family for a complimentary grooming.My little guys were pretty "ripe" and they were fresh as a daisy 😘
